"Roger..sir" Viper said as hologram flashed off and door to the elevator opened, As Jeremy walked out. "Sir!" Viper said as doors closed but before Jeremy could turn to see the elevator started. "Thank you" Viper said softly into the empty elevator and waited for the doors open. Only to be within the same hallway to Viper's room.
Viper took several steps before reaching the Sanghvi's personal quarters and waited within the room. Thinking on the old ideals of the Sanghvi race.
Jeremy went back to the bridge to find an update on communication lines between Archius XI and Termina Central. Security was tight he supposed. Really tight. The captain signaled his pilots to pull up a transmission to Termina Central docks.
"Hello? This is Captain Jeremy Spacehawk of Archius XI. We're here to deliver a package to Harken Saw. Is there anyone that can show us to the docks?" He asked as a static screen popped out until the static faded away until a masked person in black and orange appeared in front.
"Docks Coordinator at your service. Please escort ship to Docks 2133. A person with qualifications will guide you to your destination once docked. Thank you for visiting Termina Central." He said with a monotone voice.
Jeremy felt creeped out about it. "Alright move in at Dock 2133 then."
A few minutes later, Yanim arrived at Viper's door, Skada proudly carrying the tools behind her. She identified herself through the keypad outside.
EDIT: Going in.
Name: Khaen-suas
Picture(optional): None
Date Of Birth: July 12th, 2359
Crew Profession: Scribe/Scientist
Race: Lepidopteran (Short name: Lep)
A weird mix of insectoid and mammalian genes, their name comes from the scientific name for the moth genus, coined by a colorful human explorer. This is because communication was difficult at first, with the race having limited verbal communication and hearing (their mouth was mostly for feeding, not to mention their hearing is optimized for situational awareness instead of socialization). The reason for this is that they use pheromones and sometimes limited psionics to do this. As a result, most Lep working outside of Pharancy space have to wear specialised low-level communication bionics, such as voice synthesizers, and auditory implants to properly socialise and communicate. There are even "holo-emoti" implants, which project certain holographic symbols over the face to show emotional cues.
Biography: Having lived on the Golden Pharancy (the main Lep government) homeworld up until adulthood, he left to seek out job opprotunities sometime around 2381 right after he got his communication implants installed. After about a year of serving on multiple exploration vessels he shows talent as a data specialist and zoological researcher. Short for change, yet wanting to ultimately enroll at the Galactic Academy of Sciences, he finds work on the Archius XI in the listings.
As Viper was waiting inside, the video view of the room's camera came on the Exo-suit head's up display. Revealing Yanim was right outside of room waiting to enter. Viper took a moment to stand up unlock the door with the exo suit's wireless systems.
You can enter now soft-carbon. Viper said over the intercom again with the suit's wireless functionality.
Iska had washed up and arrived after Yanim to Vipers door.
She hadn't changed from her rugged overalls still because according to khergian culture, worn equpment showed signs of being tested and worthy. A warrior with a clean battlesuit had never seen battle as it was said.
Varn was busy looking up the news across the galaxy, when the whole tomato incident happened. After Sledge turned the plant into paste and spray the the place in ketchup, Varn took a look at his drink, then Dwan, then Sledge and back at the drink "I need to lay off this stuff" He paid for it and put it down. He then got up and went down to the armory "If anyone needs me, Ill be down doing maintenance and wondering if this is real life."
Patching a cracked window wasn't a difficult procedure if the crack was small; small cracks meant that the crack could be mended without replacing the entire pane. The metal shutters which protected Viper's window from the pressure gradient were on the outside, and so Yanim was easily able to locate the 5cm crack in the middle of the surface by shining a flashlight at it.
Iska entered the room behind her, still smelling of tomato while permanent stains had set in her clothes. Yanim looked her over, wondering whether the khergian even cared, and came to the conclusion that Iska's clothes must be cheap and disposable.
"Ah, there you are," Yanim said. "The crack is indeed small. Easy fix; we use heat-bond method and test with false pressure. Here-" she says, pointing at the crack. Iska looked at it and agreed that it was safe to repair. From Skada's toolbox the pair retrieved the necessary implements: a tube of high-density polymer sealant, a set of polishing pads, a telescoping tripod, a heat inductor, and a repulsor circuit.
While Yanim set to work buffing the sealant into the crack using the polishing pads, Iska uncoiled the power connectors for the two handheld devices they would need. She plugged them into a set of hardpoints on Skada's right shoulder so that the robot could serve as a mobile battery. Finally, Yanim unfolded the tripod so that Iska could secure the repulsor circuit to it. "We are ready," Iska remarked after checking the stability of the tripod.
Yanim popped the tablet up from its cradle on her left forearm and activated a thermal camera. While measuring the heat gradient with her left hand, she heated the glass using the heat gun in her right hand. The glass-like material of the window began to soften and meld with the polymer sealant; as the material expanded it began to drip, which Iska collected using one of the polishing pads. Soon, the entire patch was bright yellow on Yanim's display, and so she let up and watched it fade back to purple.
The patched piece could be seen after several seconds as it had not achieved homogeny with the window yet. Once it was safe to do so, Iska added more polymer and polished away, and then Yanim heated the patch a second time. The second time, it cooled more evenly, but not yet perfect. The third time through, the surface cooled perfectly evenly. Iska then placed the repulsor circuit 25cm from the glass and slowly began to increase the power. A readout on the device displayed dispersion deviance, which could be used to detect imperfections in the surface or flexing.
Once the device reached a level of thrust which could accurately simulate the difference in pressure that the surface would face, its reading was .012, well under the upper limit of .05. With the glass secure, Iska began disassembling the equipment while Yanim punched the maintenance override code into her tablet to disable the emergency safety features in Viper's room. The shutters rolled back and natural light poured in. Yanim and Iska exchanged compliments and packed the tools away.
((Going to bed now. Yanim is heading to the mess hall to get some food that doesn't contain tomato.))
Following his conversation with Iska, Dwan excused himself. He went into his secret quarters behind the exotic drinks cabinet, making sure no one noticed. During the entire Mutato fight, he was in his quarters, seemingly unaware that a giant Mutato was going rampant throughout the bar.
Dwan would eventually leave his quarters, making sure no one noticed the secret entrance as he leaves, as Viper ordered Sledge to clean up the mess he made. He was astounded. He couldn't believe the mess he was seeing. Varn took a look at him for a second, before exclaiming that he should lay off the liquor, paying and leaving.
Dwan walked to the crowd within the bar. "What the hell happened to my bar while I was gone!?", he said angrily.
Colin suddenly remembered he had meant to go to comms. He made his way out of Archives and to Comms.
"Lion. When you're not busy, can I have a word in the Armoury? A private word." said Colin, hoping he had used the system's function correctly.
Just before he made his way to the Armoury, he picked up the bag of credits he had been hiding before heading to find Lion.
Lion stopped driving around in the hangar and begun double-checking all the systems on the Lancier.
Just as he was finished, he received a message from Colin.
Curious, Lion locked the Lancier controls and went for the armory. He arrived at the armory and found Colin waiting by his desk.
"What can I help you with Colin?" Lion took a seat behind his desk.
Eventually, Dwan figures out what happened. A giant Mutato, of all things. Dwan joins Sledge in cleaning the bar and soon enough, they have the place sparkling. Tapping him on the back, Dwan returns to the counter.
He checks his orders and sees that Yanim ordered a lemon-lime soda with vodka. She's gone now, so he puts the order on hold. He decides to check Intergalactica one more time to see if there is anything new.

"I sometimes wonder why I even read the news. Seems like everything's gone to shit. Or maybe it's just Intergalactica.", Dwan says to himself, putting away the tablet, waiting for something to happen.
Colin looked towards Lion and had the thought of dropping the whole thing. No, he backed out of situations too much.
"First of all, may we agree this conversation never leaves this room, whether you accept my request or decline it? As for the request itself..." Colin started.
He proceeded to put his hand in his pocket, take out the stun baton, unfold it and place it on the desk before him.
"I would like for you to...ehm, accessorise this. Upgrade it, if you will. I know, I know the pistol you gave me is exceptional but relying on a single tool is...one way to restrict yourself. Also...I feel like my role here is limited in how I aid people. Those in Medical can almost prevent death, Varn and others like yourself could kill anything that moves in less than a second. What do I do? Read a few books, update a basic computer database and spy on the logs of crew members. Lion, I'm not meant to be on this ship. I thought the Captain was one of the clients I was looking for whilst everyone presumed I was a recruit. I accepted my fate and decided it would be better here than working for some money-over-people company. But I'm starting to feel useless and I believe that if I was useful in another way, I could re-assure myself. This was the easiest way. I can't learn how to engineer before we properly land on Termina and the same goes for being a doctor. I can't do that in less than a few hours. What I can do, however, is be more useful if we get in a "pickle", should I say. I know I'm ranting and you probably can't keep up but I hope you can consider it. If you need anything, I will get it. I would forever be in your debt. So..if you're up to speed, what are your thoughts?"
Colin stood there after his long request and waited for an answer.
Dolosus and Isaac heard the announcement of Captain Jeremy a while ago saying a robotics man and a computer tech are needed in the medbay. Both walked to the elevator and went to the medbay, reporting for duty as Arthur turns around to see Joseph, Dolosus, and Isaac. What they're seeing is a man in danger as he's shaking like a crazed man.
Arthur smiled in excitement and clasped his hands. "Alright fellows, Mr. Riker here is in need of a good brain surgery. Unfortunately, with limited time we have it have to do it fast or else he will probably go rabid and try to kill us all." The three scratched their heads in confusion as they wait for the operation to begin. "Joseph, put on your garbs. This will be a long process..."
Lion nodded. "I understand and I promise not to tell anyone. As for your problem, I'd like to think that we all serve some purpose, of which some might be unknown to us."
He picked up the baton and scanned it. "If you allow me to, I will turn you into a expert in close-quarters melee combat. I can teach you some of my old special-forces tricks and I will turn your baton into a extension of yourself."
Lion paused and looked at Colin straight in tbe eye. "On one condition though; you gotta give 200% of yourself. That's the only way this will ever work. Deal?"
Lion extended his right hand.
[Updated the OP once again and added recently joined players, we now have a steam group so we can connect with each other and post ideas! http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SpaceshipCrewRP/ ]
Colin smiled at Lion, glad he had managed to avoid anything too awkward.
"Deal" he said, shaking his hand.
"Good." Lion, still holding Colins baton, sat down at his desk. A small device activated which captured the baton in a small zero-G field.
"I'll begin working on this, come back in an hour for CQC basics. I suggest warming up at the gym while you're at it."
The procedure started up as moments passed once John Riker was knocked out. Arthur, Dolosus, Isaac, and finally Joseph started to do some work. Joseph observed the man before he could make an inference, he tapped the side of Riker's head with a small tool. "Dis may be some fine tech back 40 vears ago." Joseph stated as he noticed some 3D glasses on his face.
[editline]25th April 2015[/editline]
"Now make sure zis implants are working fully functional order!" Joseph said as Isaac and Dolosus plugged John Riker's output augmentations into a data bank computer. Reading his personal information like some recorded camera. "Augmentations should be upgraded, these things are old as hell." Dolosus mentioned, as he noticed some tech inside John Riker's head were dated and not in this current year.
He had to fix that. "All right all right. Izaac make sure zee patient has his other augments in check." Joseph exclaimed. Dolosus did some fine tune ups while Isaac made sure other components were in order and not spazzing out of order.
...
What seemed like a day to John was in reality minutes, he felt weird and blinked a few times. "There, that should satisfy him. His brain is updated to this year and should be able to act like some sort of computer." Dolosus mentioned, rubbing his forehead.
John woke up a few hours later, feeling weird and off. He blinked a few times, adjusting his eyes to the bright medbay lights above his head. Goddamn it, I hate going under. Makes you feel like shit. He moved his hand, and he realized he was seeing a sort of.. blur. ..Crap. Seems my vision clock's off, I'm going to have to talk to that comput-
##Booting... Activated!##
It took John several hours of work to figure out how to interface with his augment, neurally, but he managed to do it.
##Cybernetic Interface##
//Modules//
=Virtual-Neural Operating Environment
=Voice and Visual Recognition Systems
=@#!4/#/!rror
=^@//@#&ror
=Wireless Network Device Interface
**END**
Alright. Alright. I think I got the hang of this. Okay, vision clock... up... A little bit more... Perfect! No blur. John scratched his head, idly. This thing's got wireless capabilities.. Brilliant! These doc's spared no expenses! This will open up so many posibilities- Oh yes, I could do that! Remote controlled... Yes! And if I can manage to... AHA! Yes, YES! It was about then that John unleashed a maniacal laugh. His augment was no longer a.. disability. It was an enhancement, a gateway to endless potential. John felt the adrenaline race through his veins as he began to imagine all the contraptions that he could make.
John would attempt to sit up, and stumble out of bed. He looked around the room, searching to see if anyone was there..
Colin nodded and made his way towards the Gymnasium. Once he arrived, he raised his eyebrows and wondered how he would practice / train for a single hour. Oh well, at leatst he had got his request. This was the best way to compliment that, therefore he had to do it.
As he scrubbed up and undressed from surgery gear in the lab, Arthur could hear a slight ruckus from the medibay. Inquisitive, he stepped into the room to find his patient, up and stumbling around the room. He look as if he was about to keel over. Arthur rushed over to help steady the cyborg, hoisting the heavy thing's arm over his shoulder.
"Careful there, Mr. Riker! Don't want you falling over and injuring anything. You'd be best to stay in bed for a couple more hours, unless you really feel alright." Arthur told him, motioning to John's cot.
Varn entered the armory and sat down to do maintenance on his armor. The image of a smashed living tomato was still fresh in his head, so he couldn't focus on his work. He decided to search the news for something to take his mind off things. What caught his attention was the headline "Interview with the Boome marine's leader: a look into the dark world of mercenaries groups. By Jane Valderama". The new leader was still unknown, so Varn watched the interview. The new boss turned out to be a "friend" of his back in the training days. "Figures he would do this. Fucking Seth always loved the sound of his own voice. Looks like all the talk about, how he was the future, came true. And of course the two stooges Mercury and Noble are sitting next to him as protection." Varn turned off the interview since it was nothing but and excuse for Seth to pump his own ego. He continued on with his work.
John looked quickly up at Arthur, his eyes widening in excitement. "There are so many things I must do! So many things I can achieve! Besides, I've been laying here for hours doc, any more and I feel like the bed will do me in!" His face changed suddenly. "Say, who exactly are you people? And why did you upgrade my augment?"
Arthur smiled.
"Well, I'm glad to see you up and raring to go. Though you'll have to calm yourself a little, as we're currently on a ship, bound for a quite unusual destination." Arthur said, as he allowed the cyborg to walk without aid.
"This ship is called the Archius XI. Us, the crew, have been picked and selected from many applicants from many different planets and cultures, by the company known as 'HarkArk'. Most of us have been left in the dark of what we're actually on this trip for. Even me, as the head of science. Mr Harken Saw, the CEO of HarkArk, has all assured us that we'll be rich after this is all done, so I suppose that's good enough for most. I'm mostly in it for the scientific opportunities involved, so I couldn't give a damn what he's paying us... Though it will be a nice bonus." Arthur explained to John, chuckling to himself as he thought about the future.
"Heh heh... anyway, yes, the augments. I'm suprised you ask such a question, especially considering the state you were in when you burst onto our ship. You were going to either die or go haywire on us, and there's nothing more dangerous then rogue AI, especially when backed up by a human psyche. We decided to upgrade your augments for two main reasons; the above, and the fact that you'll likely be with us for the foreseeable future. Indeed, whatever ship your escape pod came from is far, far away... And given that you needed it in the first place, most likely drifting, destroyed, in a lonely part of space. So, I would suggest that once we are done here, you find our captain, and ask him for a duty on the ship. I'm sure we can put your skills to good use, whatever those are..."
Arthur stepped closer to John, a questionable look forming on his face.
"We deserve some explanations of our own, do you not think? Tell me about you. Your background, where you come from, and what you did to end up floating in space in the first place." Arthur asked of John, leaning back and awaiting a reply.
The Archius XI found its selective dock number 2133. For a large ship, that dock was pretty compact but not enough to be crowded between other ships. Dock workers signaled cargo docks and heard some alarms ringing through the area minding their own business as they kept gesturing. Industrial bipedal robots lifted large crates of equipment from variety: Military, furniture, construction stuff. Who know what were they shipping out. Customers?
Archius XI's thrusters disengaged and made sure not to crush somebody as the ship lost altitude. It slowly hauled through its gravity until it stopped. They were here. Jeremy felt a fresh load of relief, locating the oracle case at his safe. He opened up the case making sure the oracle was there, closing it.
He made a quick announcement. "Attention all personnel, we have arrived at Dock 2133. I guarantee the CEO might want to see all of your faces so make sure you finish up any tasks at hand and meet me at the hangar bay."
Lion heard the message and waved at Varn. "Let's go, stay armed." Lion brought along his own arsenal alongside Colins now modified baton as he went for the hangar.
"I guess we'll have to go through the training later." He thought to himself.
As he reached the hangar Lion deployed both of the hangar ramps, being unsure what side the welcome party would be on. He radioed Jeremy.
"Ramps deployed, security ready. Should I prepare groundside transportation?"
Sledge, upon hearing the announcement, suited up in his meanest-looking getup: dark sunglasses, a black leather jacket over a black t-shirt, blue jeans held up by his hammer holster, and a pair of what Sledge liked to call "stompin' boots".
He then headed to the Hangar Bay and mingled with the rest of the crew preparing for the away mission.
Lion spotted Sledge and loosened up a little. "Yo Sledge!" Lion approached him and gave him a manly handshake-hug.
"You diggin' that new hammer?"
"Be right with you. Gotta finish up a few thing." Varn finished up his work, put on his armor, pucked up the Boombox a handgun and made his way down to the hangar. On the way there, he called Dwan on the communicator."Hey Dwan, you are coming groundside with us, right?"
