Iska looked up at the commotion and gripped her combat knife and walked over to Lion. "You get plasma or steel, or you be quiet". She said to the sergeant.
After a heavy moment of breathing, the sergeant took a look around the room and let go of the Sanghvi's neck. Looking again into Viper's eyes with a saddened look on his eyes before heading back to his comrades. the sergeant fell into his seat and took a look at both of his comrades, Sorry he said then signing as he started to look over his arm. He then took off his helmet and begin looking at the floor of ship, loss in thought. Viper watched him as even though he survived the war, his mind hasn't. A fate Viper stares with him. ( Going to sleep, Viper's deep in thought atm. NPC as well for story purposes. )
Lion folded his knife and stood at ease. He looked at the sergeant before turning to Iska. "I recognize that look, the 'thousand yard stare'. He's been through hell and survived." He said quietly to Iska.
Iska looked down on Lion with a angered expression. "A person who break still broken" she muttered back.
Lion nodded. "True enough." He noticed her nametag. "Nice tag, didn't know you knew how to write in our language."
Iska looked down on her tag. "In khergian Iska mean iron axe. Symbol in khergian much more simple, human letters much harder to write" Iska explained.
"You think contractor can be trusted?" Iska had asked. Yanim didn't have a chance to answer before confrontation suddenly unfolded. Yanim froze; when a mercenary seized Viper, she wanted a gun in her hands simply to reassure herself of her own security, but at the same moment she knew that it would escalate the situation beyond anything called for. Knives were out, there was no need for anything more, and sure enough the fight was broken up without any action on her part. She took a breath, wide eyed and nervous. This was not what she expected of Harkark. At the Academy, young kanads are taught about the threat posed by private interests on the interstellar stage. Capitalism, or irrational economics in the kanad vernacular, represented the betrayal of the interests of the many in favor of unparalleled efficiency and production, which would ultimately result in the perpetuation of a power-struggle over the control of the flow of goods while the average citizen loses their right to grievance while turning against their peers. Humans were seen as participants in the race to establish such a system over the galaxy, while the Collective was regarded as a safeguard against such radical ideas. Harkark represented something much more dangerous than humanity. It, unlike the collection of public and private institutions which comprised society on Earth and petty planets like it, was a single, massive entity with a coherent hierarchy. A corporation as powerful and successful as Harkark represented an existential threat to the Collective's dominance in its own region of space. From her adolescence, Yanim had been taught to believe that Harkark and its chief competitors were all flawlessly organized and staffed by the best soldiers that the galaxy had to offer. Aside from the physical construct of Termina Central, however, everything she had heard at the Academy had been exaggerated. Harkark was large and powerful, but their brilliant station was staffed by your average hired gun, and to transport the supposedly-indispensable Oracle they hired literally anyone to staff an untested ship. Yanim was half-convinced that some of the crew was actually using the Archius as some sort of interstellar bus, on which they could work for three or four hours per day on their way to an actual job somewhere else in the galaxy. She overheard Iska speaking to Lion, snapping her out of her train of thought. "A person who break still broken" Iska had said. Yanim sighed, reminded of a similar saying from her own world. She spoke in her native language directly to her translator, and it replied. "<All soldiers dig graves. Some live in theirs.>" ((Took me a long time to write this, sorry I'm out of order in the conversation now.))
Lion looked at Yanim after he had heard what she said. "Believe me, I know." Lion turned his back to the rest of the group and looked out the shuttle window.
"I apologize for their attitudes. This shouldn't have happened." "Forget it." Jeremy said to her in neither a polite nor neutral tone. It felt stern. He let a heavy load of sighing. That was completely out of the moment. HarkArk soldiers were composed from any average joe looking to kill or receive some sort of salary. Which Jeremy was disappointed about these men seriously had no reason to behave like that especially when they're working for the same company.
Sledge would have reacted to all of this commotion and pounded the Sargeant's head into his own chest cavity, but in the relatively cramped space of the shuttle he didn't have the room to maneuver much less swing his hammers. He had to duck to avoid hitting the ceiling with his head as it was. The best he'd be able to do in any situation is fight with his fists or body block the corridor. By the time he'd figured out what was happening Lion had already ended the fight with a small knife. Seeing this, Sledge briefly reflected on how fighting with nothing but hammers his whole life night have limited his problem-solving abilities.
Varn had stayed quiet during all the commotion. He was tempted to throw the sergeant out the transport, but he decided to wait and see how it all pans out. Luckily Lion and Viper managed to contain the situation before things really got bad. He later heard the exchange between the captain and Nicole "I apologize for their attitudes. This shouldn't have happened." "Forget it." "Forgive me for being blunt captain, but its not her fault. These guys obviously aren't accustomed to the merc life yet. Too jittery and easy to scare. Although miss Vara, you shouldn't let them off the hook easy. They will cost more money to mister Saw, than their worth if they keep being like that."
"Hmm, noted Varn." The Captain said he looked towards Vara. "I agree, those soldiers are not suitable for your company if they're going to act like that." "I'm aware, I'll do something about it later." The "limo" took a while before they went to a very tall tower above a platform. You could probably imagine that would be Harken Saw's office. Good thing they could just land on the rooftop. "There it is. What can we expect from him?" "Don't be surprised if he doesn't give you all the answers you want to ask any questions." She stated.
[I AM SO SORRY, I have been so busy the past couple of days. I will RP again soon!]
Colin remained silent, ignored the commotion and simply stared into the distance as they made their way. Now wasn't the time for him getting violent. He hoped that would come much later, when he was ready. Unfortunately, Colin didn't actually know what they were doing on Termina Central because he had not been informed. He merely stuck with his crew for comfort and convenience. It had taken a while, but he trusted them.
[so, er... Viper got banned for three days. I think maybe we should slow down the RP a little until he's back.]
[he said to put him on npc mode,]
[ Could give a chance for the people who wanted to join the RP to actually join the crew] For the rest of the trip the HarkArk security sergeant were giving Varn the stink-eye. He guessed he didn't like what Varn said. Rather than get intimidated, Varn initiated an old merc practice, handed down from generation to generation of mercenaries. He stared the sergeant down. Both men refusing to look away until the trip would end. It was only 20 minutes, but it felt like 20 hours of intense looking mean at each-other. When they finally landed Varn got out of the transport and lid a cigar, while waiting for the rest of the crew.
Sledge stepped out of the thruster-limo and stretched. He'd been super cramped in there, on account of his bulk.
When they arrived, Jeb got out of the shuttle. He then stretched for a second. He was used to long road trips as a racer.
((I'm going to be gone most of tomorrow. Sledge is an NPC.))
Once the thruster-limo landed, Dwan got out and checked out the view from the rooftop.
Varn stood next to Dwan and looked at the view. "Enjoying the View?"
Colin exited the transport and watched the movements of the people around him, waiting for something. He needed a question answering but the place they were did not seem the sort of "company" that would understand and comply with his requests. For now, he stood in silence. Waiting.
Nicole walked among the crew as she spotted a person in the standard HarkArk science uniform, messing with his holo pad. The man was in reality a Lepidopteran, a race that resembled moth like people. Of course Nicole smiled and walked up to the Lep as he spotted her. "Khaen-suas, I assume your background checks and other paperwork has been filled out already? If so I'd like to introduce you to your crew you'll be joining."
"Yes, I have filled all the necessary paperwork, I am eager to join this ship's crew." Khaen-suas would shake her hand.
"Yes, I have filled all the necessary paperwork, I am eager to join this ship's crew." Khaen-suas would shake her hand.
Vara shook Khaen's hand and gestured him to see the Captain of Archius XI. "A new member of Archius?" Jeremy asked with confusion as he wondered. "Of course. This is Khaen-suas, a Lepidopteran" Vara mentioned again. Jeremy walked up to him and faced him, extending his hand to greet the Lep. "Glad to have you Khaen, I'm sure you'll meet a lot of our team once you'll explore the ship."
"I will admit, I am pretty nervous about this. Where is the rest of the crew right now?" Khaen shook Jeremy's hand with a pretty excited look on his face as far as Jeremy could tell.

(Yes, just waiting for them to finish their transaction.)
Varn stood next to Dwan and looked at the view. "Enjoying the View?"
Sledge correctly assumed they were talking about him and continued his flextaposition. [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] (( Gonna be at work again tomorrow :C ))
