As the head of one of the pirates burst like a bubble of green blood, Lion decided to take cover and reload.
The pirates yelled among themselves as they continued to fire on Lions position.
"For a bunch of inbred scrap-loving drunks you are fairly good at shooting!" Yelled Lion, further agitating them.
One of the pirates threw away his gun and brought out a makeshift plasma-baton.
"Keep pushing, I'll take care of this gearhead!" Yelled the pirate angrily.
Several of the pirates then broke off and made their way to the locked corridor door. Exactly what Lion wanted.
"I have an idea!" Joseph suddenly said in surprise. "I have some strings and tapes for emergency medical use. And I thinkz I have an idea!"
"Ze strings are thin and transparent so it vouldn't be noticeable unless held in bright light. I'm thinking of rigging two of my smoke grenades to make a makeshift tripwire smoke thingy to blind zhem."
"Somevon come vith me!" Joseph said as he approached the elevator corridor carefully.
During combat, Arthur mostly cowers under a desk in the bridge and cries.
Dwan, noticing how everyone is acting in the bridge, decides to go to Joseph and help him.

So I noticed some people are confused about the combat for a bit so I'm going to explain the combat rp will consist of RNG meaning it's recommended to say Action: blah blah blah if you're intending to hit an enemy for now on. Once your action is posted I'll roll from 1-10, kind of what I did when Viper shot a Pirate's head.

Lion barely dodged the initial strike from the pirate, he grabbed the arm of the pirate with his left hand while attempting to get a clear shot the SMG in his right hand.
Meanwhile the pirates at the door were getting closer to activate the trap that Lion had prepared.
"Alright, vat I vant you to do is to hold the elevator door open while I set zis up. I don't vant to find myself going down there vhile doing zis."
Joseph said as he began working on his trap. It was quite simple actually, two smoke grenades taped on either sides of the elevator door with a fishing thread tying both safety pins together. Anyone who trips the wire would soon fine him or herself trapped in an elevator filled with smoke.
"It should be very simple to avoid actually, all you need to do is to take a higher step when you step in. You got zat my bartender friend?"

He arrived at the Gym and slowly walked through with his gun out, just as he is getting close to the door, a bunch of pirates entered the room from the Market. He quickly ran for cover.
Without them knowing, he slowly made his way around to the entrance to the Market.
He got out his knife and grabbed a pirate and stabbed him, he then got back to cover and looked up, he pointed his gun and shot one in the head.

As the pirate once again made a move to strike Lion, Lion managed to grab the pirates hand before rotating his own hand 360 degrees effectively breaking the hand of the pirate who fell down to floor in a cry of pain.
Lion finished him off before taking cover, trying to evade the plasma fire from another pirate.
[Also Doom, for the record Lion boobytrapped the doors leading out of the hangar so it should be hard for squad 1 to help squad 2.]
Jeremy put his head up and saw the Head Pirate with a box, he lowered his head and knew that he wouldn't be able to take them just by himself, but he knew he was going to try anyway.
He put his rifle on the edge of the cover, aimed it at the pirates and lowered his head again, he then pulled the trigger and moved the rifle from left to right.
The last minute order from the captain is not a welcome one. Kr wonders why in the FUCK the captain didn't requisition some before they departed dock. He throws a frantic order into the Autofabbers for the first automatic sentry on file, and orders Moverbots to get them to as many of the main junctions and vital systems in the ship as possible.
He hefts his coilgun and makes ready to defend his engine bay, he even pops some of the minor seals on the coolant outfeeds, finding the increased background radiation invigorating for his biology.
As Lion hit another pirate, this time in the leg, making the pirate fall to the floor in pain the rest of the pirates managed to hack the door console. To their surprise the door lock remained red and instead the announcer voice started talking:
"Intruder alert, venting hangar area."
Before the pirates could react the hangar shields were lowered, sending the majority of them out into space, alongside their dropship.
Three seasoned members of the squad however managed to get their magboots work in time, they sluggishly moved towards some crates still locked to the floor.
Meanwhile Lion fired off a few more salvos with his kinetic SMG, hoping that the deadly energized projectiles would hit something.
However most of the shots missed and the rest his the crates used as cover by the pirates.
Lion started regretting that he locked down ever piece of equipment in the hangar. The hangar shields went online again and the hangar was pressurized shortly after, prompting both Lion and the pirates to disengage any active magnetic gear.

Mini-Roll Critical Success!:[highlight][9][/highlight]Jeremy's luck and patience finally paid off as he carefully blind fired, pulling the trigger to prevent getting killed by these wretched fools in armor. One of the Head Pirates taunted him before a sudden round from the Captain's rifle pierced his crotch. Head Pirate screamed in pain and dropped what ever he was doing and holding, the unusual box seen was dropped and suddenly opened up, exposing a white glowing ball fading on and on. The rest of the pirates from Squad 2 panicked and attempted to make a run for it.

Mini-Roll:[highlight][3][/highlight]Lion's idea was rather creative but once all pressure in the hangar bay came back, the pirates gathered up their thoughts and suppressed Lion before attempting to overwhelm him. The Pirates made sure he stays in cover as they engage him one at a time.
Jordon took another sip of his coffee then considered to switch his gun for one that can work in the dark. But he decided to keep it because it reminded him of his Hazard Suit back at White Mesa.
"That would be useful here" Jordon thought.
Kr'fernir watches as the freshly built and armed sentry guns start popping online all over the ship, he watches for the kill counts to start rising. And then he starts wondering about that darned roboticist and what the hell he might be doing right now.

Zach would be found sitting in whatever room was dedicated to the plantlife, discussing politics and the lack of weather in space with a bunch of tomato plants. It became obvious something was going on in the ship, had they been boarded?
"Well, looks like there's trouble brewing outside. Don't worry though, we'll be safe in here. They never raid the gardens."
When Dwan dismissed her from the bar, Yanim suddenly found herself disoriented and nervous, as well as slightly buzzed from the small amount of alcohol she had consumed. She initially intended to follow the captain's orders and move to the bridge, but fearing that she would become lost again she instead staggered into the elevator and returned to the crew quarters.
Inside of one of the equipment cases she brought along was a standard-issue kanad naval rifle, the Osch Batakya Vipra (OVB). She had intended to check it in with the head of security once she was settled, but she had not yet finished unpacking at that time. It was also the only weapon she was trained to use while still a student at the Naval Academy.
In order to minimize recoil (essential for someone so small,) it was built as small as a human carbine and fired with an accurate and extraordinarily fast cycle rate of small, weak plasma pulses, akin to a submachine gun albeit with a longer range.
At the same time Yanim was assembling the OVB, the pirates began to board the ship and combat involving other crew members was already taking place. Finally armed, Yanim slung her repair pack onto her back and hoisted her rifle, teetering slightly under the heavy load, and staggered out the door. Listening to radio chatter, she gathered that the pirates had boarded near the stern of the ship, on decks lower than her own. She made her way to the elevator, where she eventually met up with Dwan and Joseph.
""DomeEval, ve need an update on ze hostile location!" Joseph said to the ship AI.

"VATCH ZE SMOKE TRAP!" Joseph yelled as he saw Yanim coming up.
The DomeEval AI raised a significant detailed map around the ship. Spawning the map showing red dots along with green dots signifying the crew members.
"There are at least 5 Pirates in the hangar bay, one crew member identified as UNIT LION is with them. At least 2 Pirates are retreating to the Market Section while 1 of them seems to be idle. Possibly the Head Pirate that's down."
A close up on the Hangar Bay has LION being suppressed by five pirates, blind firing as much as possible. "UNIT LION seems to be in need of assistance, would any volunteer manage to assist?" The AI asked curiously.
OOC: I took the liberty of creating a map using the last known positions of all crew members and hostile forces. The (?) next to Kr and Zach denotes that I was not totally sure of their location, but I knew that they were in the general area. Also, I believe the AI's statement, "2 Pirates are retreating to the Market Section" is a typo. They were mentioned to be inside the Storage section and are being attacked by Jeremy, who is firing from the Market section doorway.

Yanim nodded several times in agreement, shaking her OBV to communicate her readiness. There were already plenty of armed crewmen at the bridge, so she reasoned that she would be much more useful elsewhere, even without the protection of body armor. None currently on the ship would fit her anyway. Since she was already in the elevator, she simply stood still and allowed Joseph to operate the controls.
"Alright, let's go." Joseph said as he pushed the button for the lower floor. The elevator music was your generic jingle that many would find annoying. But in the heat of the situation like this, he needed the music to calm his nerves.

"Ve're here. Keep quiet and follow me." Joseph said as they head to the hanger. Taking cover behind the hanger door, he took out a M24 vintage grenade and said to Yanim.
"Vhen ze door open, I'll throw zis at ze pirates and be charge in and shoot! You ready?"
"Whoever's in the elevator, Come down to the gym level! See if you can open the hatch on the bottom!" Dolosus called into the comms.
"Fucker wrecked my arm and now I'm stuck floating in the middle of the shaft. Zero-g is making it pretty hard to ho- *aarrrhg* hold this wound together"

"WAIT. NO. NOT THE BOTTOM FLOOR. WOAH WOAH WOAH." Dolosus screamed as he realised the hit to his arm had ruined his communicator
Dolosus saw a small groove at the bottom of the shaft and his only hope was to contort himself to fit before the elevator hit ground floor ((this'll be an interesting roll, taking place [I]before[/I] iAmaNewb pressed the elevator button))
Mini-Roll:[8] Dolorous's attempts to fit in the small groove were surprisingly successful as he made it clear he would hope to fit there. Thankfully he had enough time before Joseph pressed the elevator to bottom floor. Preventing a bloody splat on the bottom.
Second Mini-Roll:[highlight][2][/highlight] Joseph's smiled in tension as the elevator door opened, revealing a shit load of gunshots and huge power in the hangar bay. He threw his vintage grenade first and charged to remaining cover near the crates, the pirates were alarmed and split into two to move forward onto Joseph's position along with his follower. The grenade thrown was planted near by but no major effect or explosion happened.
