"Dracobines can't shit." Said Lion jokingly.
"Yup," Sledge added while shoveling, "Dracobins metabolize 100% of whatever they eat. I looked it up!"
"That doesn't seem physically possible due to conservation of mass. It's anatomy must be quite interesting."
"I have an idea."
Lion went down the ramp and into Roughrider, a few minutes later he returned with a case. He unpacked the case and revealed what appeared to be a set of rails. He began laying out the rails in a circular shape around the sphere before presenting a small laser drill from the case which he then attached to the rails.
"Stand back, Sledge." The drill started to slowly move, spinning around the sphere as the laser begun digging around the feet of the sphere.
[Alright once I get home we can start combat mode.]
Pippin shakes his head. "How you afford all this?"
Sledge and Hercules backed off as Lion started working. This was a much better plan but Sledge was a little disappointed he didn't get to finish his hole. Digging is fun.

"Yeah, it's weird when they eat. Like seriously Herc here just ate three times his body weight in swamp dirt. You'd think he would have exploded or something but nope he's just some sort of bottomless pit."
Hercules clicked a few times. He looked the same as he always did.
"They definitely metabolize it, though. If you feed them certain things it shows up in their skin. I saw this one guy who fed his Dracobin nothing but stainless steel and turned him silver!"
Sledge turned to Hercules. "We ought to turn you gold! Or diamond!" he said enthusiastically. Herc clicked excitedly.
"I'm thinking we feed him Chameleons so he can change colours."
Pippin shakes his head. "How you afford all this?"
"It helps that we work for one of the galaxys biggest corporations." He pointed towards the circular drill.
"Besides, these drills are common. During my time in the SSFD we used these a number of times during combat breaches. Hopefully once the drill is done we can lift the sphere."
Lion readied his assault rifle. "While the drill is busy I suggest that you either stand guard or rest." The two antennas on Lions' head extended as he entered sentry-mode.
It laid its eyes on the crew ever since they've dropped down, finding the wait to strike anxious. Its heavy breathing made it harder to resist. When they starting drilling, the bipedal creature came out of the swamp and roared to the top of its lungs, towering over the rest as it was 9 feet tall. This was truly a hideous monster of swamp descent. two 9 rolls or 10 rolls to kill it required
Varn was looking at the drill do its work, when he heard something move behind him. He turnded around just as the creature led out the loud roar"I was wondering when we would get a visit." He prepared the Boom Box and shot the creature.

Mini Roll[8]: Varn widened his eyes and saw the creature coming out of the swamp, he hurried to grab his Boom Box and aimed center mass at the creature. He pulled the trigger and a round full got the swamp monster but it yelled in response, proving it wasn't enough to overwhelm it. The monster swinged its arm to attack Varn.
[considering that Jeb has a pistol, and he's still somewhat hurt from his mishap, he probably needs 2 10's]
"Um, nice doggie?" Jeb quietly asked as he realized that diplomacy probably wasn't going to work here. He then lined a shot with the Desperado gripped in both hands. He knew he probably wasn't going to hit it, but maybe he could scare it off.
(BANG) [I guess roll for scare tactics? I can edit if need be]

Mini Roll Critical Failure [1]: The swamp creature got distracted until Jeb fired his Desperado at the creature, it turned around and saw Jeb unprotected. With this opportunity the creature might as well take it. The alien ran at full speed, stomping on grass flora as Jeb was the sole prey. The monster grabbed Jeb by the torso and lifted him up. It tightened the grip and Jeb was already in full pain as he screamed. The monster roared in unison.
"Whoaaa shit! Herc!" Sledge yelled as the massive creature came out of the thicket. He mounted Hercules, who let out an impressive roar of his own.
The two rode towards the giant as Sledge yelled "Go for the heel!" hoping that Hercules would understand and hoping even harder that this unknown creature had an Achilles tendon.

Mini Roll [4]: The creature turned its head over to Sledge and Herc. It dropped Jeb to the ground as he tried to keep himself together, coughing up some blood. Herc hopped and opened its mouth hoping he could spot a weak point. Unfortunately the creature whacked Herc in the face as the mount came. Causing Sledge to fall out. Herc shook his head and roared in anger.
"Shit1" Pippin ran forward and raised his carbine, firing a burst at the creature. "Lion, can we lead it into the drill?"
Varn dodged the big creature's swing. He was ready to dodge again, but the beast shifted its focus on Jeb. Varn redyed another shot at the creatures leg's.
Sledge gets up. Seeing his poor dino friend get slapped (and I guess also Dr. Sensitive who got a boo-boo) filled him with a seething rage. Sledge roared even louder and angrier than Herc did, drew both hammers, and rushed the enemy.
"I'M GOING TO ATTACK HIM
HEADDDDD ONNNNNNN!"
Pippin lifted up Jeb and supported him on his shoulder, carrying him backwards towards the ships, facing the beast.
Jeb drifted on the verge of unconsciousness. He had to make it to a safe point, however. The thing that concerned him most about his injuries was him coughing up blood. "Don't worry, heheh, I'll live...maybe." he said to Pippin.
Iska had was almost out of bullets and realized that something crafty had to be done to take this down.
All of a sudden, she remembered the old fashioned steel cables that was lying around in the toolbox on her Gravitech that was on the cargoship.
She ran over in haste and easily found the cable, from which she fashioned a lasso.
She tied one end to the back of the bike and held the other end in her hands.
As she started up the gravitech, and she heard it's loud engine roar and feel it shake beneth her she entered what what khergians call focus, although most other races would call it a mild form of berserk.
She cranked full power out of it and flew out of the cargohold, rushing past jeb and pippin whilst steering toward the monster.
Throwing the lasso around its neck and dragging it around would do the trick she reckoned, especially since the monster was currently distracted by sledge and herc.
As she approached the monster from behind she whispered to herself, still in the middle of the adrenaline rush "[I'm a furious bolt of lightning, passing everything in sight]".
She readied her lasso and took aim.
"Shit1" Pippin ran forward and raised his carbine, firing a burst at the creature. "Lion, can we lead it into the drill?"
Mini Roll [7]: Pippin went commando and tried his best to take charge as he fired a few rounds at the creature, putting a few holes into the thick skin as he went to carry Jeb.
Varn dodged the big creature's swing. He was ready to dodge again, but the beast shifted its focus on Jeb. Varn redyed another shot at the creatures leg's.
Mini Roll Critical Success! [9]: Varn took advantage of the situation and fired his Boom Box towards the creature's legs. As the round hit off the leg, the creature roared in agony as it laid crippled, having to limp as of now. It turned to Varn once again.

Mini Roll [6] Sledge's charge on to the creature was pointless as it simply taunted him to go at it. The creature received a bit of a pound by his hammers but only made the monster angrier

Mini Roll [5]: Iska powered her gravity bike as she gestured her crafted lasso cable in order to get this monster out of the way. She tried to take aim but her adrenaline rush was a bit overboard for her to concentrate. Her aiming on the monster slipped off and she failed to throw it around its neck.
Pippin laid Jeb out on the floor of the dropship and grabbed a medical kit off the wall.
Iska Drove away and looked back, only to see the cable dragging air behind her.
"Shtuka!". Iska slammed her fist against the steering handle. She spun the bike around and shook her head to try to calm down.
After a while she decided to try again. This time she lowered the speed a bit. She leaned over and snatched the cable end from the ground and took aim against the monster once again.
This time, with a limp, the monster would be easier to hit she reckoned.
"Good news, the thing has slowed down. Bad news its heading right for me." These were the thoughts that went through Varn head. The extra damage done to it by the rest of the crew, further pissing it off, didn't help the situation. Varn pulled out a grenade and set it on a delayed timer. He dropped it on the ground and started running. Hopefully the grenade would explode under the beast, further mangling its leg.
Pippin yelled as he was doing his best to treat Jeb "Someone keep him off Varn!" He had what was probably the most powerful weapon here, and the creature was charging him.
Sledge wouldn't be deterred. He and Hercules rendezvoused and he saddled up again. Sledge spoke a few instructions into Herc's ear and Herc clicked and whistled excitedly.
Getting some distance and then bringing themselves to a full headlong charge, Hercules used all of his strength to leap as high as he could. It was a very impressive leap! Sledge then stood on Herc's back and jumped even higher!
He was now high enough to lead an overhead hammer swing on the monster's head! He brought down the full force of the Workmaster and....!

"Shtuka!"

Mini Roll [8] Iska knew what went wrong this time, she slowed her speeder a bit and got the cable going. This will help everyone out. She threw the lasso while she powered her bike at a constant speed. Her accuracy improved the second time as the lasso laid around the creature's neck. She increased speed and dragged the thing around for a joy ride! The immense pressure around the cable nearly choked the monster out of air, blood wedges formed as the creature roared.
Pain grew and it had enough, the cable from Iska's end broke off and the creature was free from her grasp. The swamp creature was slow to haul and almost got its head cut off.
Hopefully the grenade would explode under the beast, further mangling its leg.
Mini Roll [3]Varn saw the opportunity to pull the pin from his grenade once Iska's joyride with the beast ended. He planted the grenade and made sure he came, but he didn't. Instead the beast charged up and lifted its good leg off the ground, stomping the ground to create a shockwave. Varn's grenade exploded without the beast being close and Varn himself got out of balance, getting dizzy from the wave.
He was now high enough to lead an overhead hammer swing on the monster's head! He brought down the full force of the Workmaster and....!
Mini Roll[7] Sledge and his noble steed bought justice to the foul beast and waged war using his hammer, his hammer collided with the monster's head, inches of blood poured out from the formed wound as it fell on its back. The beast pressed its head using his hands, roaring from the sound of pain and frustration. The beast rose from the ground and attempted to taunt both.
[going to bed, Iska is in Npc mode]
A loud "Goddamnit" could be heard as Varn fell to the ground from the beast's shock wave. he would have been food if it wasnt for Sledge and Hercules. He got up on his feet, still a little dazed and got to cover.
After regaining full control of himself, Varn aimed another shot at the beast. This time aiming for the eyes.
