"Alright then, workshop is all yours. Just please return everything to it its original position." Said Lion as he opened up the door to the workshop which doubles as his personal quarters.
((Viper123 I'm going to make a few assumptions here, hope you don't mind.)) Yanim and Jeremy arrived at the Armory while the parts were being moved to engineering. The gear reserved for her was obviously too large, but with an eye for tech she knew immediately that it was designed to adapt to the wearer. Lion had done her the courtesy of providing the helmet components separate from the human head-shaped helmet they would have been installed in, allowing her to machine a helmet herself. Kanads are very particular about their masks. "Skada," she called, and quickly the robot was at her feet. "Take to engineering," she said, holding the case of components to his muzzle. Skada gently bit onto the outside of the case before trotting out of the room with it. Yanim then tried the other components on, collapsing and tightening them wherever possible to expedite the breaking-in process. They felt heavy to her, but the weight was dispersed across her frame and well-balanced. "This is a good start," she commented. "I can do much with this."
[No problem, for future reference though the armor isn't that heavy seeing as Lion use lightweight alloys for construction. Also, don't take this the wrong way but I would've preferred if you would've let me give you an introduction to your modified armor set rather than having you build your own which IMO doesn't make much sense to me.]
((That's why I specified it felt heavy to her- everything feels heavy to Yanim. I'd talk to you on steam about these sorts of things but you never seem to be online. edit- also, I only mentioned the helmet as being unfinished. For reasons I'd rather not spam the thread with right now, kanads are super picky about headgear. I figured that after a month in space working together, Lion would have picked that up from talking to Yanim, which is why I called it a courtesy. Anything else that's different about her set is up to you, I left it unspecified in that post so you could explain it if you like.))
[Sorry, been geeking Destiny.]
"Alright, try hitting the center of the target. Headshots are cool and fancy but chances are you're likely to aim for the torso." Kira observed as she watched Pippin aimed his weapon. She turned to the recent arrivals and raised her eyebrow, 'These look like interesting people' she thought to herself as she turned back to Pippin. Iska enterd the lions room and started to look for a fusion welder. Going through the various boxes she found a lonesone pad that was labled memories. Iska wasnt able to understand what it read but she decided to leave it alone. Eventually she found the welder and got to work on her combatknife, fusing both parts together like a master, she was the daughter of the warcrafter after all. Doon the knife was whole again. She exited the room and approached lion. "Thank you friend, father would be angry if knife left broken. It is family token." she paused a bit and looked towards the firing range and the major. She turned back to lion, "Iska need training too" she asked Lion with a slight grimace.
Having finished laughing, Dwan decides to check to see if the helmet's HUD function really does work. He puts the helmet on. He first grabs his revolver. As he holds it, the helmet begins scanning it. In no time at all, the helmet identifies it as "LR30 8-Shot, laser revolver modified to fire .357 Laser Magnum cartridges. Ammo full.". He inputs "Bellevue Ancaria" as the revolver's nickname. He then grabs his shotgun. Just like the revolver, the helmet identifies it in no time as "LWA Texas Ranger, custom made three-barreled pump-action laser shotgun. Ammo full. Current fire mode: primary.". He then grabs his power hammer. Same as the previous two, instantly identified as "Power hammer, durasteel bludgeoning weapon originally used for heavy mining, utilizing repulsor and shockwave generators within its durasteel head to allow for strikes with incredible force.". Dwan wonders why they had one of these on the ship. Last, but not least, Dwan tried out his backpack cannon. The helmet begins scanning...and scanning...and scanning...and scanning endlessly. Unsurprisingly, it seems the helmet can't identify what weapon he has on. Dwan inputs a string of text before allowing the helmet to resume scanning. With the text string, the helmet finally manages to finish scanning, identifying it as "Modified portable howitzer-backpack combo. Current fire mode: flamethrower. Flamethrower ammo at 50%.". He inputs "Aeducan's Blazing Howitzer" as the backpack cannon's nickname. Dwan turns off the helmet, having checked his arsenal. He puts the helmet back under the counter, leaving the bar shortly after, to get his howitzer a ammo refill.
Varn had greeted the major after she had introduced herself. He didn't say anything, instead he observed the crew picking up their gear and trying it out. "We may actually have a shot at this." He noticed Jeb. "Jeb, any comments about the armor?"

While some of you might have some combat experience it would be good for us all if more members of the crew had sufficient training." He smiled. "I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure you will finish it with ease."
Pippin adjusted his aim to what Kira said, hitting the targets with more ease.
Dwan enters the armory once more. "Hey Lion, it seems like I forgot to get more ammo for my Howitzer's flamethrower mode. You got any?", he asks Lion.
Lion turned to face Dwan, he pointed towards a big red and black locker marked with the text 'DANGER! EXPLOSIVES!' in several languages. "Bottom shelf, far left."
Dwan nodded his head, as he went to the locker. He opens the locker and finds the flamethrower ammo on the bottom shelf on the far left, just like Lion said. He opens up the backpack and begins filling up the flamethrower ammo holder. Once he finishes filling it up, he puts back the ammo into the locker and closes it.
[Phone might die so you can use Iska as an NPC, I'll just roll with it as long as I have battery. Also, on my final drill camp in the army. 24 days left and I'm a free man again after 347 days of service]
Kira nodded and turned to the rest. "Who else is sloppy with shooting? We got extra time to spare then we can talk about other stuff." She asked with her stotic attitude. Jeremy grabbed his helmet and wore it on his head, seeing the HUD activate. "I'll give it a shot. Get it?" He received glares from everyone, which he sighed and got frustrated. Aiming down the sights he fired at center mass.
(( Okay, I give up. I'm reading old posts at the rate the new ones are coming out. :v: Can someone please give me a brief summary of what's happened since the explosion? ))
[I assume Sledge agreed to knock out Varn if he went all berserk mode. Sega Saturn made a pretty good summary to a certain point http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1457037&p=47759664&viewfull=1#post47759664 Going on from there. Yanim and Lion are constructing a new and better exo-skeleton for Vipier. Viper herself is working on a personal project. Iska is up and walking around, improving her hover-bike. Yanim wants to feel like a part of the crew. Jeb woke up and is wondering about his dream flashback. Varn had his own set of flashbacks, showing why his ex-wife wants to kill him. He's still waiting for Jeb to schedule in an appointment so they can talk. In the mean time, he's performing his duty as the new Head of security. A group of shadowy military people is discussing the events on Gadon. They don't seem to know about the Oracle, yet. The crew may meet them later. Arthur told Jeremy about Yanim's wishes to hide the assassin's tech. The captain wasn't happy that she didn't tell her. After he confronted her about it, everything seems to be alright for now. Lion made new universal armor for every crew member, currently he's making one for Hercules. Varn opted to keep his as a spare, since he's working on improving his own. After a short discussion with Lion, Jeremy decided that the non-combat crew needed some training. Major Kira agreed to help in the training. Iska agreed to help Yanim with the cybernetics after sharing a bonding moment. Everyone is trying out their new armor. Jeremy, Arthur and Yanim have a talk about the cybernetics. Arthur has some problems with Yanim. Yanim chose to distance herself from this situation and wanted Iska to take her place. If I got anything wrong or missed something, please tell me.]
((I'm thinking of leaving this RP and return as a different character. Being a ship doctor doesn't get much action going on.))
[ I'l been mentally drained due to some life issues for the most part, so sorry for my lack of involvement in the RP for the past few days. I start posting again soon. ]
Jeb had been concentrating so hard on trying to figure out what occured in his flashback that he let the time get away from him. He happened to look at his desk and saw something he wrote down about Varn. "Darn, I completely forgot to make an appointment. I feel so smart now." With that, he got in contact with Varn. "You needed to see me?" he asked. [sorry kilerabv, I must have glanced over your post and failed to react correctly]

You're more of the stoic tipe." Varn heard Jeb over his com. "Yeah, for two reasons. One, so you can check out the armor Lion made. We want to make sure you guys are ready if shit hits the fan." He paused for a second and walked back in the security room. "Second reason is a bit personal. I'm having some repressed memories popping back up and maybe you could help, being the moral specialist and all."
Lion went to his desk and sat down. He observed the people trying out their armors and Pippin who was training with his rifle alongside the Major. He smiled. "Just like old days." He went up and into his workshop, he looked up at the unit banner and did a quick salute. Lion then approached the locker for the more advanced tools. He opened it and kneeled down. He opened a small hatch at the bottom and took out a small box. The box was of military style, with old markings and registration numbers. It also had a piece of tape on the center of the top labeled 'Memories'. He opened it up and revealed a variety of items. Most were photos, some were shell casings and one was a tiny transparent stasis vial with a black lid which contained a Terran rose. He smiled and picked up one of the photos with one of his robotic hands. The photo was, like all Terran photos, of a old-school design which meant that it was printed on paper. Over the decades the humans of Terra had begun to appreciate old-fashioned designs. It was to remind of a simpler time, as well as to honor the human ancestors. This photo in particular showed a group of three soldiers standing infront the burning remains of a large fort resting on a smaller mountain, it was nothing but God's Refuge. The three soldiers had transparent visors, showing three big smiles. The soldier in the middle was a bit taller and larger than the other two, a nameplate on the helmet identified him as McKinze. The other two soldiers were of course Lion- Leon back then- and Reed.
As Dwan began leaving the armory, he noticed Lion kneeling down and holding a box. Dwan didn't want to intrude in whatever Lion was doing, but his conversation with him earlier made him slightly worried. He walked to Lion. "Whatcha' got there?", he asked him.
Jeb went over to the armory, he heard that Lion made some new armor for the crew, which was good, since his first outing wasn't exactly too great. When he arrived, he looked over at Lion, "New toys?" he inquired.
Pippin lowered his carbine and turned towards Jeb. "Hey there, how are you feeling?"

"Whatcha' got there?", he asked him.
Lion realized that he had forgotten to close the workshop door. He turned his head to Dwan and showed the photo. "Memories. Good ones. Helps in here..." He said, poiting towards his head. He packed up the box and closed the locker before exiting the workshop. As he entered the main armory area he spotted Jeb. "Good to see you, looks like you've recovered well. Your armor set is close to the center of the shelf, try it out." Said Lion, pointing towards the armor shelf.
"Lion, I'm a bit worried about you.", Dwan said to Lion. "When we spoke earlier in the bar, when I spoke to you as a shrink of sorts, I suggested that you might have PTSD in relation to your flashbacks. But you said that it was more like a daydream. For some reason, I don't believe you in that regard.", Dwan said in a serious tone. "I'm going to ask for permission to check the cameras and what they have recorded over our entire voyage. To see if you acted out your flashbacks, even once.", he told Lion.
Lion motioned for Dwan to come with so the wouldn't stand so close to the others. Lion sighed. He knew that Dwan was a man of his words. "I appreciate your concern. There was a incident once. I can give you the recording myself. It looks bad but truth to be told I did have control. It's just that at that point I was extremely angry." He crossed his arms. "Look, I've been honest about my memory thing but I'm certain that I don't have PTSD. I've acted out once and I knew what I was doing when it happened. The fact is that despite my painful memories I work hard, focused and efficiently. If I would've had PTSD I would be the exact opposite, all I need is someone to talk to. Someone I can trust."
