François got tired of watching old shows and went to the bar. On the way there, he found himself confused as everyone passing by looked edgy and stressed, like something shitty had just happened. Whatever it was, it was probably nothing much, François decided.
Upon entering the bar, it seemed mostly empty, but he sat down anyway.
The call was made as the operators complied the transmission to their channel. Static immediately appeared but faded for a close sec as a green man in grey armor appeared up to the entire screen. He was a well built man from the looks of it, he had to be over 8 ft tall with that captain seat. He cracked his knuckles as he saw the crew on the bridge.
"I expected a crew that appeared more professional. Doesn't matter, in fact your lives won't matter this instant unless you give me what I need for payment along with the rest of your stuff." Bruta stated. He had seen one of the pirates in bad standing as he was seated nearby. Bruta could only eye him.
"The truth is captain is that you're outgunned, if you honestly think I have answers for you then you will be severely pissed off the moment I say that glowing ball you're holding is just another object I'm here to collect. Some contracts wanted it, saying it was "special." I think it's all just a bunch of bullshit for an antique store. A collector's wet dream." Colonel Bruta stood up off his chair and stared straight into his camera.
"I'll tell you straight up, you have an hour to give me that thing and everything you have that's valuable or else my cannons will blow your ship so goddamn high that a sun will reach down on you and perish you into the enormous pits of hell." The Colonel's tone in voice changed from a sudden rasp to a devil in plain sight, he sat down in frustration.
"This is my warning captain..." He said as the transmission ended.
"Well, fuck..what do we do." Jeremy asked.
He then sat down and thought about idea's.
And then he remembered.
"We could use their ship...I guess, we could swap ships and let this blow up but.. I am not fond of that idea." Jeremy said to himself.
"We can't gun all of them down, and we can't run past them."
"What if we camouflage our ship to look like theirs? And this guys ship (Points to Head Pirate) to look like ours....Is that even possible?" He asked.
[editline]29th March 2015[/editline]
"WAIT...THAT'S IT, CLONES. We will clone these two and make an army, we can haul up somewhere and see how they are doing while producing more clones. This must be possible...This seems more likely but what about the other options I asked? Would they work? I want Clones to be our last option." Jeremy asked.
"We could also potentially disguise a bomb to look like the glowing ball, if that's possible.", Dwan suggests.
"Clones?"
Arthur popped up from his hiding place, wiping away the last of the tears.
"I can help with that. As the fighting is finished, me and Joseph will bring these scum back to the labs, and clone them to the best of our abilities. We can probably wipe their minds as well... And turn them into living bombs, if necessary.
Thoughts?"
After performing a damage control on the ship, Lion reported back to the bridge just in time to hear the captains ideas.
"Sir, damage control done. Minimum damage to ship interior. I managed to salvage some of the pirate weapons and armor. Also, if I may pitch in with an idea we actually have our own HarkArk Adeptor-class dropship, they come equipped with stealth drives and I myself have alot of flighttime with Adeptors."
"I thought you'd want to know."
Dolosus came up the bridge, arm already in a sling. He listened to the conversation and his mind went into overdrive trying to find a solution.

Camouflage. The word resonated in Dolosus's head.
"Captain, I've got an idea. But we gotta be fast."
He went to the bridge window and looked at the pirate boarding ship floating outside.
"Lucky we didn't use any of those crazy ideas to destroy the coating on that ship."
After stepping back from the window, he looked at the captain with inspired eyes.
"Captain, everyone who isn't crippled should grab a spacesuit and a shovel. Looks like it's time to oil up..."
"Okay, I have a risky idea. I will have a meeting with Bruta, no one on this ship will be near him, you guys will be far from the Bridge, I will make sure he doesn't bring anyone else, I just need the following. A smoke bomb that gets activated not after being stepped or tripped on, but after detecting more than a set number, so it would be 1 for Bruta, and any guys he tries to sneak in, BAM, it goes off, and you guys will come storming out and help me take them down. Now I don't want that last bit to happen, I just want it in case he does, what I want to happen is that we play a game of Russian Roulette just me and him. I need your opinions now since I need to be healed and I will get Arthur to help me out." Jeremy said.

"Don't, I realized it is a bad idea as he is probably watching us, he would know the trick." Jeremy said.
François noticed a sudden massive rise in activity, as crew from all over the ship crowded around the bar, shouting and fighting over drinks. Not before long, every last alcoholic drink vanished, every drop from the taps used up.
He raised an eyebrow. I'm on a drifting metal box filled with crazy people. he then muttered under his breath.
"Can't ve just start our engines and get out of here now?" Joseph said worriedly.
As Bruta's threat to the captain and the ship hit home a little too close for him, Dwan thought about calming his nerves by going back to the bar.
However, Dolosus' idea of going out into space frightened him, causing Dwan's eye color to unnoticeably change from his usual copper brown to a khaki yellow. "S-s-spacesuit?!", Dwan says in a scared manner. He just hopes the bar is ok.
The silence was awkward. REAL awkward.
Dolosus quietly slinked back to the security room.

"No, they would know and we would be shot at instantly." Jeremy said.
Zach finished tending to his plants for the moment, and as soon as it was obvious the conflict was largely resolved he headed up to the bridge to meet the others. Socialising was not a strong point and it was obvious stuff was going on, so he leant against the wall and watched from a relatively safe distance. Looks like that was one of the pirates that had boarded the ship!
Dwan arrived at the bar to see the chaos that had happened. The bar is a mess, all the alcoholic drinks are gone and there is a snooty French person sitting at the counter. Dwan's eye color does another unnoticeable change from a khaki yellow to a ochre orange.
"What the hell happened in here!?", Dwan yells out, as he angrily enters his messed up bar. "And what to do you want, sir?!", Dwan asks François as politely as he can in his anger.
I need your opinions now since I need to be healed and I will get Arthur to help me out." Jeremy said.
"No problem, captain. I'll get you healed up ASAP, though I cannot promise that you will not grow another eye in the process. I'll see you at the lab."
With that, Arthur strolled out of the door, waiting for the captain to follow suit.
"Okay, the time is nearly up, I decided that I will use the Russian Roulette plan, and trust me I will win, always have." Jeremy said.
He then walked to the elevator, they both went down to the Medical Lab and healed up Jeremy.
"Thanks Arthur, I just need you to go to the Bar or Mess Hall, that is where I want everyone to go, I will make an announcement in a bit." Jeremy said.
He then entered the elevator and went up to the Bridge.
He walked to the Announcement Speaker.
"I want everyone to go to the Bar or Mess Hall, and do not come out until I say so, there is a monitor in there so if you wanna see me win, and I don't blame you since I am pretty good at the game." Jeremy said.
He then walked away from it and instructed the rest to go to the Mess Hall or bar.
"Can do, captain! Good luck with the Russian Roulette. It will... it will be a blast, I'm sure."
Arthur cackled wildly, laughing as he walked to the messed up bar.
François looks a Dwan and raises his nose a little, followed by a slight shudder. I will have orange juice with a lemon slice. Failing that, water.
[sp]I'm going to be out for the next few hours, if anyone has a convo with François write the reply lines yourself, thanks[/sp]
Yanim jolted awake, having nodded off in the hangar bay just after fighting had ended there minutes earlier. The other crewmembers must have noticed how disheveled she was and decided she wouldn't be useful, and they would have been right. Still, she worried about the state of the ship in her absence and was disappointed that she missed the chance to introduce herself to the others.
She returned to the elevator and rode to the top level, and soon returned to the bar to pay her tab. It was a mess, possibly looted during or shortly after the fighting, and Dwan had apparently just returned. Despite his apparent frustration, Yanim was happy to see him unharmed after the fighting.
"Dwan, I fell to sleep in the hangar. How did everyone?"
Dwan, wanting to get to work quickly, gets behind the counter and gives François a glass of orange juice with a lemon slice. "There you are, sir.", Dwan says, still angry. "Now, if you will excuse me for a moment.", Dwan says as he opens up the security cabinet underneath the counter. Within is equipment that can be used to trace every person who's been in the bar. Fingerprint scanners, a screen connected to a camera within the bar, a spit tester, the works.
He checks every bottle for fingerprints and spit and goes through the footage of the camera multiple times. Eventually, he identifies every single person who had wrecked his bar while he was busy fighting pirates. He sends every single one of them a bill for the drinks they had drunk and for property damage, aswell as a month-long ban from the bar. He then writes down a ban list and pins it to the bar's bulletin board, making an extra copy just in case someone rips off the list. "That should teach them.", Dwan says angrily.
Dwan has a deep sigh, as his eye color unnoticeably changes back to his usual copper brown. "Sorry about that.", Dwan says to François. As he says that, the announcement is heard over the speakers. "Hm, this is going to be interesting.", Dwan says as he grabs the remote for the bar monitor.
He notices Yanim enter. "Hello there.", Dwan says to her. "Dwan, I fell to sleep in the hangar. How did everyone?", Yanim asks him. "We have a few injured folk, but all in all, we're fine. We've got two captives and we've been threatened by the pirate captain.", Dwan tells her. "Hopefully, the captain can handle this.", he says.
Zach too decided to head to the bar. He hadn't had a drink in a long time.
Upon arrival the place was, quite frankly, a shit heap.
"Oh dear..."
He took a few steps in and stood up an overturned barstool, then straightened the plant pots. After doing a bit of compulsive tidying, he walked over to the bar to join the other two.
"I guess the commotion occured in here, then? Want a hand tidying?"
"That would be very helpful.", Dwan says, accepting Zach's offer in tidying up the bar. As Dwan cleans the counter, he asks Zach the question he usually asks people. "I'm guessing you're a crew member. What's your name? I'm Dwan Theidrum, you can probably guess what I do.", he asks, awaiting Zach's reply.
Kr makes his way to the bridge to find his errant robotics engineer, and instead finds the bumbling fleshy captain who appears to be hearing a rather stupidly worded warning.
"Captain, If I may make a suggestion. If we discreetly release a bomb and let it drift a distance away from us, we could detonate it safely with no harm to ourselves. At the time of detonation we could also shut down all but the most vital systems in our ship. The radiation burst from the bomb would act as a sort of flashbang to their sensors, allowing us to stealthily slip away on maneuvering thrusters and inertia. I can have the requisite preparations done in several minutes."
His recommended course of action made clear, the xeno awaits the captain's approval of his plans. Kr'fernir is so sure of his plan that he starts to input the parameters for it into the main computer.
"Sorry Kr, we already decided on a plan." Jeremy said.
"Zach Bringer. I'm the gardener, because apparently every ship needs one. Pleased to meet you."
He picked up any stray glasses/bottles that were lying around and made a pile of them.
"What happened earlier? I somehow managed to completely miss all the action. Nobody ever goes to the gardens."
Zach grinned slightly, rolling his eyes as he noticed a few smashed bottles hiding under a stood.
"This place looks like it was hit by a bomb, is the whole ship as bad as this?"
Arthur enters the bar, smiling at the carnage all around him.
"Ah... This remind me of that animal testing facility I used to work for."
He took a seat next to the frog, motioning to the bartender.
"Barkeep! I'll have a Quick Fuck, if you please.
"Sorry Kr, we already decided on a plan." Jeremy said.
"And why was I not informed of it?! I am the CHIEF ENGINEER of this spacecraft, in charge of all it's functions and all it's systems. It is paramount that I be aware at all times what you intend to do, or what you require of this ship. So please tell me what it is you and the other soft-skins are going to do."

"I think the speaker in the Engine Room and Engineering Room are busted since I made an announcement about the plan. Basically me and the captain are going to play Russian Roulette, thankfully I am great at the game, always won. Everything will be fine Kr, heck, we might even have stuff for you to work with, and new crew members..possibly. Just trust me Kr, I know you are neglected but I believe in you. Go to the Mess Hall or the Bar and stay there until further notice, I don't want anyone in danger." Jeremy said to Kr.
"You'll be surprised to know that the action didn't happen in the bar.", Dwan tells Zach. "A pirate ship is currently threatening us into giving them our stuff. They tried to send in some of their own folks to steal it, but we fought them. We've got two of them as captives on the bridge.", Dwan explains.
"From what I understand, crew members from all over the ship crowded around the bar, shouting and fighting over drinks. I've billed and banned everyone who did so for a month.", Dwan says with a cocky smile on his face.
He then sees Arthur enter. "Oh boy, here comes the coward.", he thought to himself. "Barkeep! I'll have a Quick Fuck, if you please.", Arthur tells Dwan. Dwan knew what he meant by that and gives him a straight answer. "I'd love to get you a Quick Fuck, but we're currently out of alcoholic drinks. Can I put your order on hold for now?", Dwan asks Arthur.
