Yeah I can make the pipes blast you through to the center. There's going to be a third pipe that will go to another room that I haven't mapped out yet.
I guess I plan on adding all the guns? It's really just a matter of deciding where to place them.

I'll probably just end up copy+pasting the left room and mirroring it to the right side and edit it up a little bit. Once I add pathways and some basic lighting, I'll fill in the holes and remove the skybox then upload it somewhere I guess.

it has basic skybox lighting, shitty spawn placement (one spot actually gets you stuck but i didn't feel like recompiling) and shitty weapon placement.
Feel free to add it to the server if you want, would like feed back on general layout and what not before I decide to texture it.
got my custom map's layout all done, now to just detail it, make it interesting, and add weapons :ok:

we didn't get to really test it out yet but quick first thoughts

could really do with making these cylinders a lil narrower cause right now its just barely enough in the way that you can't walk around them and i kept getting stuck there

these four blank areas would be good spots for some computer stuff like big servers or just big ass (unbreakable) boxes, to help make the center area more interesting to fight in
and yea like i said before could do with having second set of pipes underwater to propel you the other direction. also could do with making the propelling happen a lot sooner in the pipe so you spend less time swimming and more time KILLING

Either remove the dependency on the wad, or use a .res file to instruct the server to tell clients to download it.

Just an FYI, the game client will never re-download a file it already has, even if the server's file is different. Zip files are probably still the best distribution method for WIP maps.

In regards to the layout for my new map; it's still a WIP

The area marked in red is going to be a large open area similar to the reactor cores(?) in lambda complex. I also need to add the underground part of the map with the water pipes, which I want to make bigger.

Tau is on the sign in the room with the train, egon is hidden way up top and you need a tau to reach it, and hornet gun is in the bathroom and also in the back of the military truck.
tau and egon are ludicrously overpowered guns so its for the best that there's just one of each and you need a bit of effort to retrieve them

Oops, forgot the hornet gun was in slot 4. I think I'm doing pretty well by getting 2nd/3rd after playing the maps only once.
