The United Kingdom is wracked with riots and sickness in Scotland as the emergent epidemic known as “White Flu” makes its way across the country. Rioters have taken to the streets and attacked police as the government officially declares Scotland and Northern England to be Quarantine zones, calling the measures “extreme”. One protester said on television that “...this fookin’ quarantine is paramount to the government telling us fook all and leaving us here alone!”. Emotions only continued to flare as the government began to construct a large wall to block off everything from North England and northwards. As White Flu continues to spread and cause chaos, military units from both the United Kingdom and Germany have entered Scotland to try to set up “safe zones” in areas of major cities such as Glasgow and Edinburgh. These areas have large concrete barriers blocking them off from the rest of the city, offering safety and shelter to those from the sickness and riots, however anything outside is fair game. The British Navy has also enacted a full quarantine of the Scottish waters, turning back ships of refugees trying to flee the sickness, only further aggravating the population of Scotland further.
CDC and Red Cross personnel have been seen entering into the “red zones” of the cities to try to get an understanding of the virus, but are attacked by lawless looters or infected individuals suffering from what seems to be a different form of delirium. Information on how this disease functions and what it actually does is sparse and only comes from secondhand accounts, with claims of bringing people “back from the dead” among other things.

With the recent events occurring in the United Kingdom, one can only be worried about the arrival of the sickness onto American soil. Cases continue to increase by the day in Philadelphia and the surrounding region, spurring people to buy supplies and begin boarding up their homes. Many supermarkets and tool shops have already reported selling nearly most of their stock from this public panic. President Gore ordered the immediate closing of all travel to and from nations that currently report the disease in their borders which are the United Kingdom, China, and Australia. In the case of China, this has practically halted trade between us as trade vessels and cargo ships are turned away by coast guard en masse. The stock markets have taken a deep plunge as investors panic sell their stock. With this border closings, several planes from these regions made emergency landings on american airports, were they were subjected to quarantine and inspection by CDC agents and air marshals. Several infected individuals were found on board and brought to quarantine in the CDC Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia to undergo monitoring and testing. A spokesman for the CDC told us, “It is an opportunity for us to understand the disease and its impact on the human body and we hope we can be fruitful in our research.” When asked about the missing CDC scientists from several months ago, no comment was given.
Police and National Guard have been mobilized en masse in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. in preparation for any potential uptick in violence and civil disorder, as it can be expected to occur similarly as to what is currently taking place in the United Kingdom.

The spread of White Flu, which has overtaken most of the media coverage, has been in the minds of everyone these past few months as the disease has spread to all corners of the globe. However, another region is wracked with conflict as well: Palestine. The Second Intifada only grows in intensity as Palestinians burn tires and attack IDF soldiers by throwing stones, with some even firing weapons and causing firefights to break out. This situation becomes even more violent as a suicide bombing by a Palestinian prompted the IDF to action and conducted air and drones strikes in Palestine in an attempt to kill terrorist leaders, but civilian casualties have been high, with one drone strike causing at least 25 civilian deaths and over 100 injuries. Massive walls topped with watchtowers, barbed wire, guard dogs, and armed guards have also begun construction to split off the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in order to separate the conflict riddled region. Checkpoints are extremely fortified, with tanks and machine gun emplacements overlooking anyone passing through.
The violence has drawn condemnation from human rights groups, claiming that the IDF has conducted indiscriminate killings against civilians in an attempt to demoralize and frighten the Palestinians into submission. Israeli media fired back, reporting that Palestinians have targeted civilians themselves through suicide bombings and targeted killings, including the murder of Ofir Rahum from being lured across the checkpoints by a Palestinian girl and led him to a group of gunmen that filled him with bullets as well as the targeted killing of a 10 month old baby by a Palestinian sniper in Hebron. Inside the warzones, house raids are common by the IDF as they arrest people on suspicion of being in league with Palestinian terrorists.
The conflict seems to have no end in sight as neither side seems willing to come to the negotiation table to discuss the conflict.
