Is there any interest in this again? I've gotten the itch myself. It hasn't been dead long but hopefully it might be long enough to regain some traction. I don't think the expert server will make a return and I'm not sure on the modpack choice either, but at the very least I think we'll stick to a single server instead of potentially splitting the userbase since it never gets that big to begin with.
Could be fun ye, gotta get my stupidly inefficient systems going again, might as well be on a server.

I'd be interested. Expert is too hard imo I just wish regular lasted longer.
I'd make a return, had a lot of fun building and shit back on the old regular server, still miss my magic town :< I tried to keep up in regards to the old Expert Server but life got in the way, then once the world restarted and everything was deleted I just sort of gave up.
But yeah, I'd totally start playing again, on and off.
I've never played here before, but I'm definitely interested. Been wanting to start or join a server with FTB since 1.8 ruined vanilla for me.
I'd be up to maybe join and actually do stuff again. Although it is a shame 1.10 is still missing some mods like Thaumcraft.

I was thinking of Infinity Lite, what do people think of that? It's MC 1.10 but it's missing some big mods that you people might miss.

Also, might it be an idea to disable portal guns? It always feels a bit too overpowered and cheap, would perhaps be a bit more fun for other "Mass transportation" systems that players could make from all the other mods.

Maybe a soft ban on flight/teleports for long-distance traveling? Like, not to the level of "u bann now" but atleast try and discourage it?
I wish the gravity gun mod got more coverage. There's nothing quite like feeding a creeper a concrete block at 200mph then putting said block back into the wall you took it from like it's nobody's business. Unfortunately it's overshadowed by it's wormhole based brethren because "But I like teleporting across the map and totally shitting on performance occasionally!". Overcharged variant is a wee bit op tho.
Haven't been fantastically up to date in the modding community as of late. Any mods in particular that would be most relevant to us not updated to 1.10?

I think we should discourage "easy" means of long distance travel as well aka teleportation and to a lesser extent, flight. Would be really neat to have a railway or whatever else we can make in these mods instead of that.
