Katherina glared at Thall, hoping he wouldn't escalate the situstion. She turned back towards the techpriest. "Of course. I can arrange for my Order to facilitate a transport for you as soon as The Sherylwood returns to Imperial control or after successfully securing its vital cargo. The Emperor provides for those who remain loyal."
"Apemantus Flever. A Tech priest. The others were murdered during the revolts." Apemantus nodded. "We would be grateful should the help arrive Sister Sepherine. The events within this vessel have taken a toll in the population." He paced along, walking up to Orks who dared to trespass the Sherylwood. They laid down on the table, torsos cut open. "I hope these Xenos of yours are watched over. The minds of theirs aren't that of ours."
"I hope these Xenos of yours are watched over. The minds of theirs aren't that of ours."
"No, Apemantus Flever. They are far below us." Thall said jovially in binary to Apemantus while taking a few steps towards him. "Now...Apemantus, your crew...They need help, help that, I know you will hate me for saying it but that is beyond your current level of care..Now, I know what you had to was all in the service of preserving and helping them..And you have done a fantastic job so far...But the fact of the matter is that you have done your part to the fullest extent possible. You can now rest easy and let us, handle this from here on out while you rest from their tireless service in the name of the Omnissiah." Thall stated to Apemantus in a calm and gentile matter in binary.
Apemantus slowly nodded, turning to his patients. "Then I plead that you take great care of them Magos once they can get back to their homes. They are quite stressed from these unfortunate events." The techpriest switched to gothic. "Then I suppose I should escort you to the Titan."
"Then I suppose I should escort you to the Titan."
"Yes, Apemantus, Please do..." Thall replied cheerfully in gothic.
Thaddius was equally horrified by the sight, but he was surprisingly quiet now that he was facing the orchestrator of these terrible machines. The Magos was able to speak from a place far more dignified and honorable than him, for he was not prepared to call the kettle black when he had committed sins of his own. He simply kept his weapon trained on the renegade, shuffling behind him as he lead them to their prize. "If it is all the same to you, Apemantus, I will be taking watch over you. I have seen too many unfortunate scenarios when trust is given too easily, as pained as I am to state it." The fact that their enemy was also fluent in binary meant he had no way to convey his thoughts and stratagems to the Magos, but he knew this priest to be too far gone. He heard no hymns of prayer as he churned out these converted, only weakened screams of the victims. Unworthy vessels of the Omnissiah's gifts. The priest and those abomimations had to be purged!
Apemantus nodded, escorting the groups to the Boiler Room and went down while its servoskulls watched over the Converted. Throughout the hallways the techpriest hummed to himself, passing along skeletons and decrepit bodies from intrusion. Yaroslav spoke through his cogitator, telling mentions of this individual. After a while of passing rooms, Apemantus went towards the massive bulkhead that led directly to Mechanicus. The techpriest's mechadentrites took part against a built-in cogitator bank and revealed the door, exposing to several secrets of the Sherylwood. There was a large platform for the Titan. Apemantus stared at the God Machine in awe and bowed. “For years I have been protecting this sacred machine from the spawn of Chaos and invaders. So far we've defended this place from a recent attack by Orks. This section will be able to release the Titan from storage.” The Titan was a Reaver-class, 22 metres high. Its armaments were deactivated and the center has been showing signs of tear. Otherwise the Titan stood there mostly unharmed.
Thall stared at the god machine in utter awe for well over a minute, the Magos then suddenly begin to break into a chant of a dozen prays to the machine god in honor of being in the mere shadow of the titan's glory.
“For years I have been protecting this sacred machine from the spawn of Chaos and invaders. So far we've defended this place from a recent attack by Orks. This section will be able to release the Titan from storage."
"Th-Thank you, Apemantus, for your service towards the Omnissiah." Thall muttered after finishing the last cycle of his chants honoring the machine god of the Mechanicus as the Magos refocused onto that of the mightily war machine that stood before them. "Now...Apemantus, please be patient with us as I call the rest of our flock to recover this indomitable manifestation of the Omnissiah's peerless power." Thall stated to Apemantus, before quietly stepping towards Yaroslav. Turning his head to face the Arch Militant. "Arch Militant, Tell your masters of our find and inform the Cult Mechanicus aboard the Everlasting Avenger of the duty that must bedone to bring this grand blessing of the Omnissiah back into the hands of the Imperium proper." Thall said lowly to him while keeping it's mechanical eyes on Apemantus, still wary of he might do. Thall then turn his head back to face Apemantus, extending his hands in a friendly motion towards the tech-priest while stepping closer to him. "You have done well, Apemantus...Very well, indeed..." Thall said calmly towards Apemantus.
Thaddius cocked his domed head at the titan, finding its immense size and undeniable power awe-inspiring. Still... for the vessel to carry such a large factorum to be used for surgical conversions and house a warmachine such as this, it didn't make any sense. He lowered his Arc Pistol all the same, turning himself toward Apemantus. "Tell me, tech priest, what was the purpose of the Sherylwood - its mission. This vessel is perhaps the strangest equipped I've seen..."
"Mork's arse! if Me and My boys had one of those I coulda cracked those Blood Birdie guys vault right open!" Snugbuz exclaims slack jawed at the size of the titan.
"Its a thing of buty it iz!" Rowbutt exclaimed "Think of all them pointy gits you could stomp with it." A single tear rolled down his cheek.
Abemantus turned to Thaddius, "The Sherylwood is a Retribution Class Battleship. Her mission was to transport the Titan and any Adeptus Mechanicus equipment to the Forge World Omnirnos, beyond the Constante Sector. The trip was a failure as seen in the Boiler Room." The Arch Militant spoke to Mikaela. "This Techpriest has been here for a long while. We'll need the Titan to be escorted for the Cult Mechanicus." Mikaela stared at the cogitator, "Yaro, I still haven't heard of several groups among the ship. Who exactly is this individual!?" She demanded, the Arch Militant sighed, turning away. "The techpriest has stood down along with his, patients. " The Rogue Trader narrowed her eyes and clenched her hands. "Bring this techpriest in immediately with guards watching him. I would like a 'chat' with this fellow." The Arch Militant nodded, "Right away Ma'am." Sior heard the conversation and went to his chambers to report the Titan to the Admech. With the Titan in sight the search was successful, however there are still things to go over with this Abemantus. A fleet of the Admech will be in to secure the precious gift. However, what happened behind the entire story of the Sherylwood will be lost for eternity.
Felix was conflicted over the results of their mission. The tech-priest Apemantus was clearly unhinged, yet had performed a difficult and sacred duty in protecting the Titan from capture. It was disgusting what he put those people through in order to defend the machine. He even thought it was borderline heretical. But he knew he would be a hypocrite if he believed Apemantus should be... entirely damned. For he himself also dabbled in the occult to serve the Imperium, and perhaps his actions were of greater alarm than turning people into machine thralls. He did not want to make exceptions for such people like the rogue tech-priest, but he himself could fit into their category under similar scrutiny. This dilemma required some inward reflection and prayer, he realized.
Katherina stepped off the dropship. She nodded towards the rest of the Serrated Group and Yaroslav. "If you don't mind I'd like to follow our guest to the bridge. A sister does not break a promise."
"I will follow him as well." Thaddius states, finally holstering his pistol as he got off the dropship. "I still have many questions for our informant."
The rest of the mission was... something of a blur for Eur'i. It quickly went from being about to kill some-- heretic, or whatever the Gue'la described them as... to suddenly that they were escorting the very same person back? As well as a giant... whatever they described their Crisis Suits as. Titans? Something like that. And all the talk about slave revolts, guardsmen... eugh. The Tau hoped that the next mission would be a mite bit less complicated, slinging his rifle over his shoulder as he walked down the dropship's ramp, at least safe in the knowledge nothing should happen to them here, barring the odd slinging of words from the humans.
Yaroslav escorted the lone techpriest to the Bridge. The Techpriest watched in curiosity as members of the Serrated made sure to watch over in case Abemantus had an agenda of his own. Finally they went up to see Mikaela standing there with a smirk on her face. Yaroslav went over to his boss, observing. "You were in the Sherylwood? Your name please." She asked. The Techpriest nodded, "I am Abemantus, a survivor of the ship. I mean no harm to your crew as I couldn't identify whether they were a threat to the ship at first." "Okay then." She turned around, "Was there any encounters with a few groups in the front of the Sherylwood." She leaned forward, getting a good look at Apemantus. The techpriest stared at her diligently not wanting to anger the commander of this vessel. "Of course, there were complications in the matter but you must understand, after a while we thought we were going to be stranded." "What happened to the others?" She let out a hard question. The techpriest tilted his head, "The Arch Militants were a bit intrusive to us. We struck first but please don't assum- Mikaela pulled out her bolt pistol and shot him through his torso. An ounce of blood splattered across the floor, urging him to fall over. Yaroslav sighed, shaking his head. Abemantus twitched, watching the Rogue Trader pointing a weapon. Her smirk disappeared, glaring at him. "Let's say, my Arch Militant right here mentioned your account of mass producing abominations. Daring to strike down members of the Imperium, my own force. And, whether or not you are to be trusted. I'd say I have the right to execute you for severe counts of heresy."
Katherina simply stared at the techpriest and then at the Mikaela. "Captain, Serrated Group suffered no casualties or injuries during the last mission. We're ready to move again on your order."
"Execution is not how we operate." chimed in Thaddius. "If there is a case where we have a captured Heretek in our ranks, one who is not a threat at present; we determine what made him defective. They are dismantled piece by piece, and we gather all the data we can before the subject is euthanized." Thaddius was all too familiar with the procedure, after all it was one he narrowly avoided after his disgrace. "Magos. You are more than qualified in this procedure. Shall you take the reigns?"

Thall carefully watch Abemantus while walking alongside the rest of the command staff to the bridge, the once joyful and exaggerated motions that we're display while first meeting Abemantus was now replaced by the magos usual cold denominator. Thall seeming abrupt change of heart being as artificial as the majority of his body. However, the magos did experience a short moment of genuine joy after the witnessing the heretek chest cavity burst into a shower of gore after the bolt shell exploded within his upper torso.
"Magos. You are more than qualified in this procedure. Shall you take the reigns?"
"Right as always, Thaddeus." Thall said to infiltrator while leaning down to obverse wounded ademantus. "I'll handle this one..trial. I believe he will make a fine servitor."
Mikaela nodded, putting away her bolt pistol. "Then do so, Magos. I must attend to the search parties inside Sherylwood before we drift for Mesdames Space Station." She turned away, talking to Yaroslav. "Get one group to search with Arch Militant Charise's party in an hour." She ordered sternly. Yaroslav nodded, "Right away, Ma'am." He narrowed his eyes. "Any volunteers are welcome." He said as he exited the Bridge.
Katherina nodded. "I will accompany the Arch Militants." She looked at Mikaela. "May the Emperor illuminate our paths."
"I is not sure what is going on but I'll do it good boss."
Felix Aurelious Felix had accompanied the others to observe the proceedings with the renegade tech-priest. He was curious to know the fate of this creature, but he also wished to provide the proper prayers and incantations depending on what occurred. The holy words were spoken quietly, but he knew that they would have the same effect so long as they were said. "I will also assist the Arch Militant," he stated, stepping alongside with Katherina. "The Emperor's work is never done - we must not loiter." Sophia Avalon Sophia exited the tiny shuttle and strode out on to one of the hanger decks of the Mesdames Space Station. She had been traveling with a passenger ship for some time, and this was fortunately one of the stops. This entire place struck her as being a frontier, especially with all the Rogue Trader business going on, and she hurried along towards the terminal to escape the noisy hanger. She adjusted her medical cap, a tall white cap with a red aquila on the front with a cloth veil that billowed out to her shoulders. Glancing around, she made for a tiny cafe that had some seating. This was her first time really traveling alone in the Imperium. Before, she always accompanied missions or groups into combat zones or relief areas. Now she was an independent traveler. It was a little strange. She pulled out her letter of recommendation that she was granted when she found out there was a Rogue Trader that was recruiting in the area, and she looked it over again. Hopefully she would be taken on with the crew, or otherwise she would be stuck here for... a while.
Yaroslav allowed Felix and the Sister to come along while they went down to the central docks. "Crazy shit right there. Now you know who you're dealing with." He walked at a steady pace.
Katherina didn't seem surprised. "I would expect nothing less from your Captain. The Constante Sector is home to many elements, including some very dangerous ones. The Imperium cannot afford to take chances." --- Tarkayen stepped off from his shuttle and onto the cold hangar floor. A cloak covered most of his armor, albeit poorly, prompting several onlookers to cower in fear. After scanning the imminent area he spots a woman who appeared to be a civilian apothecary. The assassin grunted to himself as this woman seemed not only out of place but also far away from home.
Thaddius took up the damaged tech priest in his hand, deliberately dragging the mangled machine-man behind him as he turned at his heel and began to leave. "I will take him to the engineerium, then. The servitors within shall be willing to set up your work space. Until next time, Trader." he states before shuffling off. Those in the hallway witnessed the Infiltrator dragging the tech priest effortlessly and with no emotional commitment, drops of blood and other fluids from the results of his augmentation dripping readily behind him.
"I mean sure. But in front of a audience? Little too unprofessional there no offense." He said as he went towards the elevator, moving downwards for the central docks. They kept moving til they were in the same place as before seeing an Arch Militant in a similar outfit like Yaroslav. She saw Yaro and marched forward, tilting her head while her bionic eye zoomed in. "Yaroslav, how are you?" Charise asked. "My groups took the guy responsible for this shit on board the Sherylwood. We're getting back there searching for the lost while this ship extracts the Titan." Charise shrugged, "Very well. We'll take my dropship." Both proceeded to the Devourer Dropship, partially covered in scratches and dents.
Eur'i shook his head as the others left to pick over the carcass of the Sherylwood. He'd had enough time trying to shoot inside of the Gue'la ship for the time being. He wouldn't get a good shot, if nothing else. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm headed back to our, ahem, accomodation." He said, taking a look behind him as he went off in the direction of the maglevs. ------------------- An Arvus Lighter passed through into the hangar, coming to a stop and touching down gently-- or, at least as gently as a near twenty-ton cargo hauler can down onto metal. The rear hatch opened up, revealing the Krieg Commissar behind it, inspecting this hangar with his hands folded behind his back. Behind him, the eleven other personnel, mostly just guard and support personnel who were transported up for the station itself, were standing at attention and saluting. Before stepping off, Koelbe looked behind him, waving one of his hands down. "Save it for your superiors." He rather bluntly stated. It would've almost been a friendly quote, if it weren't for the harsh, cold tone behind it. With that, he stepped off of the ramp and onto the hangar floor proper, followed soon after by the rest of the passengers, going about their own duties as he examined his surroundings. Nothing too noteworthy. A civilian apothecary of some sort-- must just be a worker on this station... workers unloading cargo... Wait-- a member of the Officio Assassinorum here? Meinrad adjusted his peaked cap as he thought. Must be someone desperately needing to be killed around this vile frontier, should the Assassinorum be here. In any case, the Commissar looked on, making his way out of the hangar proper, and into the café that the Hospitaller had found herself in, taking a seat, and likely looking monumentally out of place as a result.
