The Imperial Colossus: A Warhammer Rogue Trader RP

"The Emperor is my shield, and I part of His hammer." Meinrad replied, looking over to the assassin once again. "Were it not part of His watchful gaze and will, my 'lethality', as you call it, would not be impressive. Nor, would I be here to discuss it." He added starkly.
Sophia Avalon
The hospitaller remained quiet as the assassin spoke. She didn't quite like him, or it, or whatever it was underneath that armor. It spoke in a fashion that managed to be less human than some Tech-Priests she had known.
Sophia folded her paper up and put it back into her breast pocket. How much longer would it be before they met the Rogue Trader? Maybe they wouldn't even meet them at all, and just see some representative or something. Regardless, she was eager to board the ship and settle in.
A couple of hours later, the Everlasting Avenger sent out large ships dedicated on bringing the Titan to the cruiser. The operation was overseen by Techpriests through close eyes as any sort of damage to the machine would harm the spirit. Eventually the workers of the Avenger pulled through. Sior contacted members of the Cult Mechanicus about the Titan and placed the location of the Sherylwood for future studies. The search parties within the deeper corridors of the lost ship led to wounded and dead being found out by Arch Militants, Snugbuz, Katherina, and Felix escorted the groups to their dropship, landing safely within the central docks.
Mikaela stared in front of the Bridge, sitting. The founding of a Titan would most certainly give them the trust placed for more opportunities. She clasped her hands, leaning forward while the Navigator was informed by Sior to jump in a few minutes. The Rogue Trader stepped off, having business with an Inquisitor to make sure a deal was secured, along with the other one. She rolled her eyes and took hold of her armrests as the Colossus headed for the warp currents.
The fleet went out of the system, carrying the Titan and the lost men on board the Sherylwood. Whatever happened down there was no longer their problem. They completed their mission. Their next destination: Mesdames Space Station orbiting Mos Pryas. Eventually the Serrated Group scattered, the Xenos dwelling in their housing unit while the Imperials headed for Command Deck. Arch Militant Yaroslav marched close, expecting to report to Mikaela with the other Arch Militants.
The travel in warpspace ended as the Colossus moved out of the warp currents. Gellar field and crew hopefully intact for now. They witnessed a massive space station in scale while several merchants ships moved out. It was very important to state the identification of the fleet before moving in. The Rogue Trader spoke through the voxcaster and told the name of the fleet and her name. Sior sighed a load of relief they could take a break. The Mesdames Space Station should be able to include hablevels and stores for the average merchant to haul out before their next journey. The Everlasting Avenger loaded across the row line, she left the Bridge, wishing to explore the space station herself. In the mean time this meant that Imperials from Colossus could wander through the station if needed for resupply.
"This is Mikaela Amea of Everlasting Avenger from the Colossus. We will meet at Docks 2. Be prepared to greet. We have important things to discuss." She sent out servoskulls to the intended individuals.
Tarkayen was about to stare some more at Koelbe when a servoskull arrived. He nodded. "Acknowledged."
With that said he made his way towards Docks 2, not caring if the others followed or not.
Sophia Avalon
A flurry of servoskulls arrived and relayed their messages. Sophia was surprised at how fast things had occurred. She stood from the table, grabbing her pack and bag, and she watched the Assassin simply take off.
"Well, I suppose it is time for us to get going. Shall we walk, gentlemen?" She said, glancing between the commissar and the inquisitor.
"Let us proceed, then." said the Inquisitor, finishing his coffee and standing. He stood, sliding his chair back under the table as his personal servo-skull perked up. His inquisitorial seal dangled from a metal chain around his neck, swaying as he moved about. The mere sight of it was enough to demand fear and respect from his fellow man. He stepped over next to Sophia, and glanced down at Meinrad.
Meinrad looked back up to the Inquisitor, unwavering. He was a man proud of his service and faith in the Emperor. Any Inquisitor worth his salt wouldn't find fault with him. After a short moment, the Commissar stood up, looking between the two. "Let us." He said simply, hands once more finding themselves behind his back after he adjusted his peaked cap again, eyes forward.
Sophia Avalon
Always a spirited one, Sophia wasn't afraid to take the lead on the way down to the docks. Personally she found it a little amusing to have a commissar and inquisitor following her, but she wasn't going to race any of them if they felt the need to pull ahead.
As Thaddius and Thall begin to carry the traitor back to their side of the vessel, Thall begins sprinting ahead and had disappeared into the iron abyss that surrounded them.
Soon, within the depths of the factorium nestled deep in the Everlasting Avenger's engineerium. Thall had arrived at his private forge quite early and was far ahead of Thaddius.
"...Was the recovery of one of most fable god machines not enough to satisfy your misbegotten attempt at destroying what's left of my already tarnished reputation?" Thall started to yelled bitterly at the massive cogitator screen at towered over him within his private forge.
"Well, while it has reassured us that you were not attempting of retreating from-" The voice of a young tech-priest begin to say softly over the cogitator's transmitters as the machine quickly came to life.
"Running away? I would do no such thing! For I had merely come to the logical collusion that my glorious talents are far better spent recovering the secrets of the machine myself rather than being surrounded by a bunch of decrepit has-beens within some forsaken laboratory." Thall stated in a frivolous tone towards the screen.
"Please, Magos Karkinos. You may not need to be so stressed about the situation, we simply wish to see that you are fulling the end of the bargain that you made only a few solar days ago." The tech-priest told Thall calmly.
"Well, Gemini. Unlike you, I was not created within a test tube to be Berossus's bootlick! As such I wish that this insane assassination of my character shall end at once! I'll not to be watched at all times by you or anyone else within that forsaken guild!" Thall shouted furiously at the screen.
"B-But Magos Karkinos, we only wish to ensure that accusations that-" Gemini tired to speak before Thall cut her off yet again.
"Is my word not enough? The claims that Phobos's research was behind rediscovery of the Graviton reversal is sheer nonsense!" Thall loudly exclaims while the Magos paced about his forge irritability.
"T-This investigation was only put in place after the suspicious disappearance of Logis Chironian..." Gemini said after a brief pause.
"Ahh..." Thall muttered, stopping his rant for a moment. "Well, Chironian was always trying to steal my rightfully deserved credit for the phased-plasma rediscoveries that I had solely accomplished!"
"Nevertheless, Magos Karkinos." Gemini tiredly explained, "The discovery of the Titan Immortem Aegis due to both the efforts of yourself and the Everlasting Avenger Magos Karkinos has led us within the Aquarius Guild to dispatch an additional militant asset to the Everlasting Avenger's complement of defense personnel."
The iris around Thall's optics widened up as his audio systems received the news.
"What!? We have already had more than a dozen Protectors hailing from the Legiones Skitarii deployed throughout the Vessel's engineerium along with an additional Skitarii asset...Not to mention the rest of the vessel's own arms-men and the various vagabonds that this rogue trader had scavenged." Thall said in rebuttal.
"It does not matter, Magos Karkinos. This decision has already been made by powers far larger than yourself...We shall resume communications later." The cogitator bank then went silent, the screen shut off a second to reveal the reflection of an agitated Thall and the Forge's entryway.
As Thall turned away from the screen, he was greeted with the arrival of both Thaddius and half-dead Abemantus being dragged alongside the Princeps.
"Sorry Thaddius...I had some...concerns that I needed take care before we deal with this...Heretek." Thall stated to Thaddius in a weary voice.
Soon enough, the trio was off. On their way to the Dock. "Hopefully the crew is at least civilized. Some of these Rogue Traders fraternize with rather unsavory individuals." said the Inquisitor as they walked, his hands tucked into his pockets beneath his black leather long coat. They would arrive shortly afterwards, the servo-skulls ceasing their travels just ahead of them.

Name: Agni Nemeaeus
Race: Human (Adeptus Mechanicus)
Age: 1,304
Motivation: Destroying the Omnissiah's Foes, Glorious Combat.
Career: Myrmidon Secutor
Origins: Gryphonne IV (Former Forge World)
Biography: Born into Cult Mechanicus on the Forge World of Gryphonne IV, Agni Nemeaeus was once a simple Enginseer working within the colossal abyss of factoriums that covered the entirety of the planet's surface and beyond. This display of the Mechanicus's infinite prowess strengthens the tech-priest's belief of the machine god to a truly zealous extent that gave Agni the strength needed to swiftly surpass the tech-priest's colleagues. However, Agni's mentions we're blunt and crude, often breaking much of the more fragile machinery and thus only used for the most hazardous repairs as Agni's great vigor proved to be best used as she was considered unfit for factorium work. The repetitive and highly dangerous assignments didn't faze Agni, for every close class only reassured Agni's faith within the Omnissiah.
Soon, Agni quickly earned the right to serve off world within the various Imperial Guard Armored regiments carrying the Forge World's iconic Vanquisher cannon. A weapon only the most well-equipped and privileged regiments could wield. While Agni was not part of the few that we're entrusted with maintaining such a perfect weapon. Agni was put to use in serving almost a dozen regiments before finally finding himself at home within the Tallarn 11th Heavy Tank Company, as Agni soon found herself quite comfortable around the operators of the large war machines employed by the regiment. So much so that Agni begin taking some of the regiment's habits to heart. Fully integrating herself into the regiment's culture and was considered a favorite by many of veteran tank crews. Serving alongside the regiment's armored crews for many years as they fought through hordes of rampaging Xenos within the Segmentum Tempestus such as Ork Hordes and Eldar Raiders.
However, fate had chosen a dark end for the Tallarn 11th Heavy Tank Company for after suffering a series of crippling defeats against the then rising Necron threat. The Tallarn 11th Heavy Tank Company soon found themselves resupplying at the Forge World of Gryphonne IV just mere moments before the arrival of Hive Fleet Leviathan. The resulting battles were of apocalyptic proportions, the entirety of the 11th fought to the bitter end. Yet, even their vigilant sacrifice along with countless others wasn't enough to even slow the first wave of planetary assaults made onto the world. Agni soon found herself fighting to reach the lower decks of the Forge World from the ruins of planet's surface with only her Omnisian Axe at her side. Though Agni was forever scared both psychically and emotionally, Agni was among the few tech-priests to survive events that had unfolded around them and lived to tell the tale.
Afterwards, Agni had soon found herself without faith for the Omnissiah for her prays meant nothing on that horrible day as everything she ever had burned around her, leaving only an empty shell behind. But as soon she was forced into a new battle, she began to find her calling once more. Seeking out to fulfill this never-ending addiction to warfare, Agni hastily rationalizes this as a sign of the Omnissiah. The lone Enginseer soon joined the ranks of the Auxilia Myrmidon out of burning desire to see the galaxy burn by her hands, Agni quickly found her new home within the Auxilia Myrmidon. Fighting with the greatest weaponry that the Mechanicus had to offer. Agni served without end for nearly a millennium, always on the search for new battles, for new ways of utterly destroying whatever dares stands in her way and to serve the Omnissiah in eradicating, annihilating and obliterating its enemies.
Tarkayen stared at the others. "Movement speed, sub-optimal. Tactical formation, lacking."
"Movement speed, sub-optimal. Tactical formation, lacking."
"Formations are not needed at this time, Assassin. And there is no need to rush." said Boren, as they arrived.
Tarkayen made a garbled sound which almost sounded like a dying beast taking in its final breath. It was infact the attempt to laugh. "I disagree."
Thaddius entered the engineerium at the tail-end of the conversation, sticking to the shadows so that he is not seen on screen by the entity Thall was speaking to. He was listed as just another Skitarii asset, the details of his career and exact history were unknown to them, and he really wanted for things to be kept that way.
"It is no trouble at all, Magos." Thaddius replies, adjusting the bloodied techpriest in his grasp by the scruff of his robes. "My tireless limbs can hold onto this Heretek for millennia. If you are unable to operate on the subject at present, I could perhaps do some surgery of my own." As he states the possibility he raises his power sword limb, just to lower it toward the techpriest. "I could simply remove this one's means of locomotion. He would be far easier to contain that way until you have everything prepared."
"I could simply remove this one's means of locomotion. He would be far easier to contain that way until you have everything prepared."
Thall turn his glaze onto Abemantus, starring down at the maimed techpriest for a moment. The Magos slowly waving his head from left to right in thought.
"Do so as you wish, Thaddius." Thall said while turning to face his studies, "For this one is not worth my time, at least for now at any rate."
As the Magos entered the labs deep within his forge, he begun to gather a random assortment of experiments to work on. A healthy way of taking easing his mind and reliving some stress for this was going to be a long quest.
And with Thall absence, two large servo-claws descended from dark void of endless machinery above the forge. These claws stood silent after stopping before reaching Thaddius. They seemed to be used for processes dealing with servitor creation.
The new people arrived shortly the servoskulls were sent out. Docks 2, just like she said. Mikaela Amea walked forward til she was close to see their faces. She saw at least four. One was straight up Inquisitor, A Kriegsman, a Hospitaller, and an Imperial Assassin. They were skilled in the right field, specialized in their own way.
"Hello there. My name is Mikaela Amea of the Everlasting Avenger." She gestured for them to follow her as they went aboard a royal dropship made for VIPs. "The reason why I called you here is that the Constante sector requires needed protection and if successful in our plans, to expand the Imperium borders. I'll need the people skilled in their own fields to make these visions happen." The dropship took off, heading for the Central Docks.
As the dropship begin to head towards the Everlasting Avenger, the small vessel's cockpit begin to received a priority one message encrypted to only that of Mikaela Amea's retinal signature. And was from the Mechanicus from what the vox operator could gathered.
---
Within the Mechanicus section of the central docks, Arvus Lighters leaving and arriving by the dozen. For those who maintain one of the Machine God's grand instruments never rest in their most divine work.
However, one figure arose within the crowds of eager Enginseers and Transmechanics. One of the Omnissiah's fateful that did not serve him though holy rituals and litanies of maintenance, but though delivering Omnissiah's wrath onto those who dare temper with his most revered plans with the most beautiful weapons of ruin.
What a grand sight of her comrades tireless dedication towards this humble giant of plasteel and ceramite, Agni thought to herself as she made her way towards the heart of the central docks.
Mikaela turned to the pilot, then switching "Excuse me for a minute." She went towards the cockpit to check in on the vox message.
The System sprung to life after Mikaela accessed the cockpit, the typical security measures lasted for but a moment and the message begun.
"Greetings, Rogue Trader Mikaela Amea. With the astonishing revival of the Titan Immortem Aegis by tremendous efforts of the Everlasting Avenger. I, Agni Nemeaeus of the Adeptus Mechanicus, have been deployed by order of the Aquarius Forge to protect you and the crew of the Everlasting Avenger in the divine mission of recover the lost artifacts of the Omnissiah. I'll be waiting within the central docks of the vessel, awaiting for your arrive so we can discuss matters further in person."
"Glory to the Omnissiah." Agni colluded the message with.
Thaddius just gave a silent nod to Thall as he departed, soon tossing Abemantus onto the table before he began the surgery. Of course, he was no surgeon, and his definition of the act was meticulously sawing off the limbs of the Heretek as he whispered prayers to the Omnissiah.

Mikaela sighed, heading back to the others. "In a few days we'll be starting an assignment... Hopefully you will be able to work with the Everlasting Avenger. In our current situation, we will be heading for..."

((Let's get some Mad Max action boyos.))
Mikaela leaned forward, "A few years ago Manticore used to be a Human colonized world, until the Orks managed to raze every colony to the ground." She pinched the bridge of her nose, leaning against her seat. "The Iron Knights have gave me an opportunity to scout out the Orks there while they're busy fighting them in the frontlines." She stared at the window port, seeing her ship idle by the space station.
"I'll refer to you with the Command Deck. The deck layout will guide you there." She gave each one data slates regarding the Avenger. The dropship headed to the energy field, landing against the steel floor as the entrance retracted, leaving it open. Mikaela walked beside them, "If you have any questions now would be the time. Otherwise I've received a message a member of the Adeptus Mechanicus will be joining us."
Out from the large amass of tech priests and servitors, came a large and lumbering member of the machine cult. Covered in massive bronze plates of hardened armor and caring heavy firepower, it was quite obvious that this follower of the Cult Mechanicus wasn't stationed aboard the cruiser for simple maintenance.
This towering assortment of firepower calmly approached the Rouge Trader and her new crew, making an loud thump with each step as it stride towards them.
"Greetings, Rogue Trader." It said after a brief pause from reaching Mikaela, standing about arms length from her.
"I I'm Agni Nemeaeus of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Auxilia Myrmidon." The titan stated towards Mikaela, as Agni lowered her shrouded head to met eye to optical with her new overseer.
"Pleased to meet your acquaintance Agni Nemeaeus." She placed a hand on her left hip. "I'll be swift with you Agni, this fleet has tolerates Xenos working for us and as long as they serve the Imperium and only the Imperium they dwell here. I was just speaking about our upcoming assignment in a few days. I presume you know about the Orks on Manticore?" She got curious.

Agni leaned her to the right as she heard that this Rogue Trader allowed that of the Xeno to walk aboard this mightily vessel of the Omnissiah. The news of battle soon eased her quite zealous feelings on the previous matter, in fact, a sense of excitement soon spark in Secutor's mind. As the ideal of ruin waged on the vile orks bought a smile onto Agni's face...Or it would, if her face wasn't a mishmash of steel and wire.
"Well..." Agni said, her monotonous and robotic now baring a sight sense of excitement.
"While your attitude towards that of the Xeno is...Odd. The prospect of battle with that of the Orks fills my servos and pistons with joy, I shall be the impeccable bulwark for the scouting party. I'll strike down any of the vile Xenos that dare attempt cause harm upon for it is my duty to act as this vessel's shield." Agni said to Mikaela with vigorously devotion.
"That's good to hear Agni." Mikaela jerked her thumb to her far right, pointing. "The Admech members will be glad to have you on board. Usually they're at the rear of the Avenger."
