" Aight' lads stews done come get some before the rest jumps outta the pot"
He says while pouring himself a healthy bowl of whats left in the pot, and he sets himself up at head of the table admiring his culinary expertise.
Katherina remained unfazed by the jump. She grimaced slightly before handing Felix a small book prayers designed by the Sisterhood to double as protective wards and spells. "This should suffice for now. Beware though, I only have one additional copy."
Felix paused as he felt the ship lurch as it tore its way into the immaterium. A curious way of travel, he often though, as the utter perils of the warp were just a bulkhead away. He had thought nothing of it back in the day, but after you go through a Gellar failure once, you can never not think about it when you travel again.
He glanced at the prayerbook Katherina offered him. "Ah, dear, that is quite alright - you needn't give me a copy of yours. I have memorized a great deal of wards and words of power, and I have in my possession a few... sanctified... tomes as well. I know techniques from all classes of the Imperium, from hab-block superstitions to backworld prayers that haven't changed since the Great Heresy itself. In fact," he glanced down at the book with an inquisitive eye, "I dare say I already know everything within that book already."
The silence to his question does not help his concerns. He takes some of the ork's stew to try and take his mind off of some of those stories he has heard.
As he sits down at the table he turns to the Tau that has now entered the room. "I don't think I got your name, I am Khrak in case you did not get mine. Snugbuz over here decided to cook some food. I have not heard of an ork cook but I guess I will see how good his food is."
Katherina smiled and nodded. "As you wish." There was definitely more to this Priest than he showed, perhaps he could become a powerful ally amongst these scum and commoners? It remained to be seen.
Katherina rose up and gestured towards the doors of the dining hall, by far more luxurious than the xeno kitchen, before continuing. "Come, let us eat before we reach our destination."

"An excellent suggestion. I'll be along momentarily, I need to set my things aside in my cabin." Felix stands and moves towards the sleeping quarters, taking a room beside the Sororitas and placing his knapsack and bag down on the small cot. He removes a stick of incense and places it in a small tray on the desk. He then removes a lighter from a pouch on his robes and lit the stick. He smiled. The smell of the incense was calming, but it also freshened up the recycled air.
A moment later he returns to the dining hall without his staff, but with his sword still on his hip. "What provisions do we have? Must we prepare food ourselves, or do we have rations?"

" All Orks is fighters and cooks unless you're one-ah those snake bite gits whos basically eat anyfin they can get their hands on, right nasty they are "
Snugbuz says while punctuating his sentences by pointing his spoon at the Khrak.
"I already requested for the servitors to prepare food for us." Said Katherina as they walked towards the dining room.

"Ah, most excellent. I'm afraid that I don't make a very good cook," he chuckles.
"I didn't get to converse with our other colleagues much, but I know we have several Xenos with us. What is your take of them?"
"One of the Orks believe himself to be one of the Adeptus Astartes. So far I've played along with him. Regardless if he's a son of the Imperium or not the armor he wears still offer much in ways of protection. He could be an useful ally. I have yet not spoken with the Eldar, Kroot nor the Tau however I belive that they could prove their worth as well." Sepherine paused as she opened the doors.
"Then there are the two honored members of the Adeptus Mechanicus, of which both appear to be just as competent as I'd expect them to be. In short; I have very little concerns."

"An Ork pretending to be a holy Astartes? A heretical farce, though under these circumstances there is little that can be done. Perhaps he can truly serve our Lord and die usefully," he says, shaking his head. Privately he thought it to be a little amusing, but he disliked Orks a great deal.
"Eldar are a suspicious breed. I'm not certain they can be trusted, though I have heard from an Inquisitor that they can be... mentally stimulating. A dangerous concept, but under guard it should be fine. As for this Tau and Kroot, are they together? I find it curious that they would be traveling alone, though I suppose this is a place for curiosities to gather."
"The members of our party are truly unorthodox. Ultimately the responsibilities fall upon the shoulders of our employer." Said Katherina as she sat down at the table.
A servitor was quick to serve her a plate of meat and something to drink.
Katherina nodded. "Thank you."
She then looked at Felix. "Now tell me Felix, if I may use your name, how is life on your homeworld?"
"I don't think I got your name, I am Khrak in case you did not get mine. Snugbuz over here decided to cook some food. I have not heard of an ork cook but I guess I will see how good his food is."
The Tau offered a courteous nod in response to the Kroot, seeming more at ease with the cannibalizing bird-man than he did most the rest of his current compatriots. "Shas'ui Vior'los Eur'i." He responded quite simply, offering a bow of his head in some form of respect. "It is good to meet one who can at least be considered something of an ally, for the moment." He continued, eyes occasionally warily shifting between the two Orks, and, to a lesser extent, the Eldar, hand kept sneakily close to the sword in its sheath.
She then looked at Felix. "Now tell me Felix, if I may use your name, how is life on your homeworld?"
Felix looks over the food the servitor provides him. Could've been worse. He silently says a small prayer of grace for this meal, and then takes a sip of his drink.
"Of course you may use my name, Sister," he says with a smile. "I've not spent any considerable time back on Ophelia VII since I left as a young lad. I've visited on a few occasions, but its been a couple years since my last stay. Regardless, I think it is pleasant there. It is entirely an Ecclesiarchy world, with very little large scale industrial efforts. Cathedrals, shrines, habs, and offices take up most of the surface - and well below the ground, too. The summers are warm, and the rest of the year is quite chilly. It was humbling to grow up on such holy ground. Only second in splendor to holy Terra herself. I dream of one day making a pilgrimage to Terra, you know, to finally see the great Imperial Palace where our Lord sits... perhaps one day, but I do not foresee it being any time soon."
He eats his meal. "What of your homeworld, Katherina?"
"Sounds wonderful." Said Katherina. "I grew up as a travelling nobility; my parents were high-ranking servants of the Ecclesiarchy and as such I never really had a homeworld per say. Out of the worlds we stayed at one of them, a small agri-world by the name of Krasa II, was my favorite."
Katherina started to have a sort of dreaming look in her eyes. "Green grass, blue water and rolling plains as far as the eye could see. It was wonderful. I hope to return there once more, perhaps even settle down when I'm no longer able to fight for the Emperor."

"A toast then, to the wonderful worlds of our glorious Imperium," Felix says, raising his glass and clinking it against Katherina's.
"I must admit, though, I would like to speak with our Xenos comrades. As a missionary, I've made quite a study of Imperial faith and culture. Some of those within my brotherhood, bless their efforts, embed themselves amongst feral and primitive worlds so that they can guide the humans there. Blackpowder worlds, some call them. Filthy places, but we would be sinful to neglect our less fortunate brothers trapped on such worlds," he says with a little sigh. "There are some who classify the Xenos and study their... compatibility with our Imperium. Naturally, no Xenos can truly be entirely integrated into our great empire, but it is said that the Tau and Eldar - despite their many flaws - are the most compatible. I have my doubts about the Eldar, but perhaps the Tau could become useful converts once we get around to snuffing out their little empire."
He watched the Sister closely, gauging her reaction. Xenos relations such as this were among the "safest" radical beliefs that could be spoken, as there was already some precedent and truth to them - the Imperium and these aliens had successfully worked together before. Sister Katherina seemed both intelligent and devout, not unlike the more uncouth zealots so common throughout Imperial society.
Katherina smiled. She knew it was a test. This was not the first time someone asked her a question related to xenos simply to see her reaction, nor would it be the last. Perhaps if she had been an Astartes there would've been a chance of her knocking over the table in pure rage. In Katherina's case her best weapon had always been honesty.
"We should always strive to welcome new citizens to the Imperium. While many of our brothers and sisters choose the undeniably easiest solution by shooting everything it is my belief that the Emperor would've wished for us co-exist with some of the xenos. Granted that would require them to cease their suspicions and welcome us as well." She grimaced and shook her head.
"Sadly such a path is nigh impossible as few seem interested in actually conversing with one another in a similar fashion to what you and I currently are doing."
She took another bite from her meat. "As long as we fear the unknown and fear opening up our great empires shall forever be deadlocked into battle. It is a tragedy really; imagine the combined powers of the Imperium, Tau and Eldar working together to rid the galaxy of daemons. The ruinous powers would stand no chance against such a powerful opponent."
Katherina chuckled. "Perhaps the Orks would join as well simply because such a conflict would be the greatest one of all time."

"Curious," Felix hummed, stoking his mustache and curling it. "Curious indeed."
"Your honestly is refreshing, I must admit. Few have the courage to speak up in such a manner. On these matters, I'm glad we agree. As we work together, perhaps we'll come to find we have much more to agree with."
Katherina nodded. "It saddens me to say it aloud but our great Imperium is stagnating. I do not think that the Emperor would've wanted for his sons and daughters to be left behind while the xenos continue advancing beyond our dreams."
She looked Felix in the eyes. "I trust you, Priest. Not because of your profession but because I believe you to be a genuine soul. If something happens during this journey we can count on eachother."
Khrak sips some of the ork's stew which really could be worse all things considered, food is food after all.
"So, how did you get here Eur'i?" He sets his bowl down to properly face the Tau. "You are from the Enclaves are you not? I think they would try to keep people, especially soldiers, from leaving."

Name: Boren Nev
Race: Human
Age: 41
Motivation: To seek out, expose, and destroy all that is Chaos.
Career: Inquisitor, Ordo Malleus
Origins: Hive World
Biography: Hailing from the Hive World of Armageddon, and judged good enough for apprenticeship by an Inquisitor during his loyal service to the Emperor as part of the Imperial Guard, Boren rose quickly to achieve the full rank of Inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus. As time passed, he found himself ever more determined to root out and annihilate any and all forms of evil that would corrupt the hearts of Men and strike down the vile daemons that would cause it wherever they hid. Many years later, Boren now finds himself amongst that of the Imperial Colossus, continuing his crusade even on the outer fringes of the Imperium and beyond.

Felix nods humbly. "You honor me with your trust, Sister. As a scholar of historical studies, you speak the minds of many great men. The Imperium is beset on all sides and from within. We must pursue new tactics if we are to survive these turbulent times, I fear. I do not doubt that we will be fruitful in our tasks working together."
" Alright boys I'm gonna see what the rest of the ship has to offer seeing as they gave us free roam of the ship "
Snugbuz gets up after finishing his bowl of soup and goes back to his quarters and holsters his pistol on his belt and grabs his Thiefin' tools before making his way to the door.
Katherina nodded. "And you honor me with yours, Priest. Perhaps we may both accomplish our objectives during this journey? I see no harm in searching for knowledge while at the same securing artifacts. Surely the Ecclesiarchy would appreciate such a gesture, assuming our results are deemed true."

Motivation: Hunting a mark within the Constante Sector. Possible Xeno origin.
Career: Vindicare Assassin
Origins: Mors IV (Hive World)
Biography: Exitus Acta Probat; The outcome justifies the deed. Such is the motto of the Vindicare Temple. During his life Tarkayen has recited that phrase so many times that his once empty dreams revolve exlusively around the words these days. He is a dagger of the Emperor. A lone bullet. A reconnassaince sniper. He is a Vindicare Assassin.
Tasked with eliminating a target within the Constante sector Tarkayen makes his way into the system. His trust is limited and his weapon is always ready. His target is a threat to the Imperium and, should the Ruinous Powers succeed, the rest of the galaxy.
Never has he failed a mark. This shall be no exception. Tarkayen enters the fray.
“Would yer quit stall'n an get dose Boyz ta blow dis hull up?” A leading Ork and several of his men were armed with mangled up dakka guns. Another Ork kicked a lone Gretchin towards the bulkhead, face planting towards the door.
“Hurry up Golio, dis ship looks big enough for some big guns.” The Ork Boy waved his weapon around, Golio the Grot, held out a couple of blast chargers and held carbon wire to the door and extended to the very end of the hallway. A Ork Boy adorning red plates pounding his knuckles against the walls, trying to snag a feel. “Hey Tagz, why don't we jus set up shop ere for da boss?”
“Wot did i tell ya? we follow exactly his orda no questions asked idiot. We need to br'n ‘em tools, metal, an useful stuff ta our territory. No dead ship ain't gunna be useful.” Tagz shouted. Golio snickered, hopping around to the end and gestured for the Boys to move out.
“Ready bosses!” Golio shouted. The Orks moved out of the away, imploding the entire blastdoor, smoke engulfing the entire place. Tagz coughed up til the smoke cleared out and flashlights on. At least a dozen Orks followed, the entire ship pitch black til their lights gave hints. Tagz directed his light to a fallen husk, dried up. He scratched the left side of his head.
“Humie ship? i see dere bones sprawl'n around.” The Orks continued, into the dark they heard eerie sounds. They moved up til they weren't seen.
…
The Colossus exited out of warpspace, the crew feeling weight pulled off. They approached the Aquarius System. Within their field of vision laid hundreds of small vessels float aimlessly for centuries. Mikaela sighed with relief after experiencing the warp once more. By the details the Sherylwood was 6 Kilometers in length and 25 megatonnes of mass approx. Mikaela got out of her chair and went up to an Arch Militant. “Call our forces to the central docks immediately. I want my combat units to get ready when we get closer to the Sherylwood.”
“Of course Ma'am.” Alarms sprang in the Command Deck and Central Docks, signaling a operation was in vicinity.
…
Throughout the ship, forces were called upon to prepare for something big. A lone servoskull traveled to the Xenos Housing Unit, comprising of the Serrated group. The skull awaited a response from the other side of the door. Meanwhile servoskulls headed for the Admech and the Adepta Sororitas.
Eur'i, still warily watching the rest of his 'compatriots', answered the question. "Well--" He paused already. Perhaps best not to get into a tirade about the Greater Farce and the manipulative ethereal bastards wouldn't help his case any for the moment. "Something of a--... disagreement, shall we say, led to my departure. As well as that of a number of colleagues. That must have been... perhaps eleven or so Tau'cyr ago, now?" He mused, shaking his head, "Now all that's left is myself, and an MV4 Drone with a busted repulsor system."
As the vessel came out from warp space, Eur'i stumbled, just about managing to catch himself up by swinging his arms out. "...Eugh... Speaking of, in fact... I do not suppose you have any experience in repair of our drone systems?" He asked the Kroot, not expecting much, but just on the very slim off-chance.
Snugbuz opens the door leading out of the Xenos quarters and is met by a Servo Skull in his face "What is it ye little git?" he says while he grabs the thing and looks into its eye in an inquisitive manner.
The Servoskull let out a modulated almost in-human voice facing Snugbuz
"13591-Serrated. You are to report to the Central Docks for an important mission. Please report as soon as possible and proceed for weapons requisitions."
"Das a Servo skull, ya git!" Rowbutt yelled, food spilling from his mouth. "Means sometin important is happenin."
13591-Serrated. You are to report to the Central Docks for an important mission. Please report as soon as possible and proceed for weapons requisitions.
"See?"
"IT'S ON BOOYZZ!" He yells back into the quarters and makes his way to the lift they came in on and waits for the others.
The Eldar simply stood nearby as the Servo skull answered the more Orkish of the two Orks, then finally spoke up. "Let us proceed, then." she stated, before glancing to the Tau. "My name is Kelrys, by the way, since we should probably be on speaking terms if we are to work together." she said, before following after Snugbuz as he headed for the lift.
