Snugbuz folliwing up the rear of the groip says "Don't worry Khrak I've got your back" with a wicked toothy grin.
As everyone got in the Arch Militant gave the signal to the pilot and close the entrance shut. Several dropships made their exit from the docks and were headed for the Sherylwood.
Snugbuz is sitting in his seat hyping himself for the anticipated fight to come.
"Things are gonna get right killy boyz I can't wait!"
The Everlasting Avenger fully mobilized as several forces traveled in space transports through Devourers or Valkyries. Within the system were dozens of dead metal and ships floating without any guidance. Whatever happened to them will lay a mystery til the end of time. The group's dropship followed several and stuck with the Avenger til they got closer to the Sherylwood.
The Sherylwood was a battleship of the Imperium, armaments probably as old as the Great Crusade. A few hours later Mikaela made sure to keep contact with her Arch Militants in front of the Bridge. Sior walked forward, staring at the behemoth. "You make sure we find whatever we need and extract the tech."
"I'll keep that in mind." The Rogue Trader said.
...
Binaries and code inputted within darkness, wires and cores approached as bodies crawled on their heels.
...
Yaroslav nodded, leaving the pilot alone for a while. "We're almost in. The Rogue Trader has divided our teams into sections of the Sherylwood. We're going in the rear section of the ship and find out what's going on while the other groups will search for the opposite. We'll be in touch if you used these." The Arch Militant brought in a cache of cogitators as small as a Human's hand.
"In case of trouble and info we'll used these for communication." He set them down, a servitor helping the other group as well.
After being handed a cogitator by the servitor Katherina nodded as a way to thank it. She activated the device and made sure that it was fully functional.
Felix grabbed a cogitator and also gave it a brief glance over - it wasn't quite unlike the machines the Arbites had used when they were inspecting ships and cargo. He attached it to a spot on his forearm so that he could interact with it easily.
"If I may ask, what sort of technology and materials are we after?"
"I'll try. After all, more than just a pile of composites in here." He looked to the Kroot with a short chuckle, knocking his hand against the side of his helmet as they made their way up the ramp.
Once on the dropship proper, the Tau grabbed a cogitator, looking it over carefully. Primitive, but he supposed it would have to do. With his armor not exactly being made to fit the cogitator, he took some lengths of cord, tying it round to either end of the cogitator to his arm, and making a rudimentary wrist-computer.
"Knowing the Admech we could be searching for stuff that might not even look valuable to an average person. I don't know much since Rogue Trader's always been elusive with her info."
"Though one thing may be noted and this might be a thought but if it stands out and you feel anything weird then call me."
Thaddius held up his hand upon being offered the cogitator, his suite of communication equipment tuning into the common frequencies the devices were set to. The servitor seemed to get the picture and moved on to handing the devices to other members.
"The Magos and I may very well be able to determine what transpired with the vessel once we are there. Communal with the machine spirits will reveal all mysteries." he starts. "As for our prize; I can surmise that we are looking for an important artifact lost to the ages. We must honor the Omnissiah with a succesful venture."
Khrak grabs a cogitator, fiddling around with it for a moment before figuring out how to work it. He stuffs it in his bag and readies his rifle for when they land.
"I don't exactly know what we're looking for here but I'll make note if anything looks stranger than usual."
"Get in. Smash any gits. Grab da shiny lootz. Praise the Omniswhatzit. Got it!"
The Colossus stayed together and were closing in on the Sherylwood. The dropships went for the openings detailed in the reports. The Serrated dropship made their way into the rear section of the Sherylwood, checking for any oddities. Two dropships entered through the abandoned docks. A massive hangar with little to no damage. The dropships went in til the hangar's energy field entrance was still active, albeit strange is to why though. Yaroslav stared out there and saw about a dozen of unmanned fighters and vehicles. He placed his void suit helmet and sealed it tight, adjusting the suit. He checked the cogitator. "This is Yaroslav, Serrated and Glory are with me. Arch Militant Iao has joined up."
"Proceed onward Yaroslav." Mikaela said through. Yaroslav held his lasgun by his side, opening the dropship entrance. He was followed by a few Humans and were checking the hangar.
Katherina followed closely with her boltpistol ready. "Stay vigilant."
Yaroslav nodded, taking lead while observing the unmanned craft to all points of the hangar. Some where just Valkyries, and others Leman Russ tanks he could already tell up close. He went up close and felt the hard structure. "Alright. It'll be worth it if we had a map of the place." He turned around, seeing two gates at both ends of the hangar with built-in cogitators aside.
Katherina nodded and turned towards Thall and Thaddius. "We await your guidance."
"Ey boss I think I should take point being as I'm most suited for the job" Snugbuz then pumps his shotgun to show his eagerness to be first in the fight.
Thaddius looked to the sister, his Arc Pistol drawn while his power sword hummed with its field active. "The Magos has more... available appendages. I'd be honored to commune with the Machine Spirits but he is the most qualified. Anything can happen at this moment, I prefer I stay armed." he states, striding forward with purpose to the cogitators. "But I will holster my weapon should the need come for it."
The pathfinder raised his rifle up as he sauntered down the ramp, a thought and quick knock to his helmet giving him a slightly clearer view of the hangar, night vision systems booting up. He remained vigilant, clambering atop one of the tanks and keeping overwatch on the surrounding area, ready to report any abnormalities at a moment's notice.
"Let me ease the machine's pain." Thall said mildly in gothic while moving towards the cogitators integrated into the rightmost side of the hanger, a large bank of distinct complex machines in a array of varying conditions.
Thall then placed his unaugmented hand onto the cracked screen of the main cogitator, shortly followed by two of his mechadendrite interfacing with some of the exposed machinery within the cogitator bank.
Thall begin to lowly hum a pray of the machine cult followed by his bionic hand spreading a vital of sacred unguents onto the interfaces of the the cogitator bank.

Thall interacted with the cracked cogitator and attempted to get something out of the thing. As a Magos of the Admech he immediately pull information containing what the groups needed to get around easily. Within the member was a map of the Sherylwood's deck plans. As of now they were located in the General Docking. The gate opened up by command, total darkness except those able to see through their tech. Yaroslav heard the gate move, turning to Snugbuz.
"Lead the way."

Felix locked his helmet in to place with a click. He pulled his shotgun off his shoulder and held it firmly in his hands, checking it to ensure that there was already a shell in the receiver. His eyes darted around the hanger as he descended the ramp and followed the others. Such an ancient and venerable ship, abandoned, yet everything appeared untouched. An ill omen.
He took some cover near a crate, simply kneeling behind it while his comrades moved about. Once the gate opened up, he eyed the dark passage suspiciously. He had some external lights on his voidsuit, but it would make himself a target.
Eur'i, satisfied that the hangar was clear, looked over to the open door. With his rifle still up, he peered through the opening, looking for anything strange in the dark hallway as he waited for the veritable conga line of his cadre to speed it along in there so that he could join up at the back.
Thaddius lowered his gait into a spread crouch, interlocked metal limbs hissing quietly to maintain his balance as he shuffles a bit closer to the breach. He wasn't as in the dark as others, and he was prepared to venture right into the unknown.
"I can scout ahead. Unfortunately I cannot advise using my neurostatic fields - it could damage our valuable artifact."
"Thank you, humble machine for your invaluable service." Thall said softly in binary to the cogitators before leaving the machine.
Thall then started readying his Gamma pistol, making sure to appease the weapon's rather savage machine spirit as he begin slowly tagging along with the rest of the party.

"That will not be necessary, Thaddius. For these will act as our most forward eyes." Thall said towards the Infiltrator as the Magos then let out two of his servo skulls to scout the corridors that laid out before them.
"I will make sure to watch these hollow halls for...Any threats that may be lurking within the shadows." Thall said to the rest of the team in gothic, the eyes of his mask glowed a light blue.
The two groups went ahead, prepared for any surprise with servoskulls and night vision. Directing light towards the room were crushed bones and fallen skeletons. Yaroslav raised an eyebrow and held his cogitator. "Amea, we've searched the rear docking but right now we're looking at fallen Imperials." He kneed down to see the scratched flak armor, aside was the insignia of the Astra Militarum. The skull was cracked open, turning the back of the head to see it penetrated.
"We're going forward." Yaroslav turned to Thall "Did you find anything useful in the cogitator?"
"Did you find anything useful in the cogitator?"
"Yes, the graceful machine has given me a light to guide us throughout this massive labyrinth..." Thall said while turning to Yaroslav, giving him a data-slate full of the information recovered from the cogitator bank.
"Though lease be careful with that data-slate, it is quite fragile and I have only so much to spare." Thall commented before having his optical mechadendrite pierce the darkness of the steel corridors that lay ahead.
"Thank you." Yaroslav, inspecting the plans. "The Boiler Room is above us. There has to be a elevator if we continue forward otherwise we might have to check to IG. Storage is our best bet."
A whisper broke his train of thought. Immediately turning to the narrow hallway.
Snugbuz keeps creeping towards the elevator's direction ignorant of the whisper.
Quietly mumbling passing thoughts such as "I can't wait to blast some gits to piecez"
Thaddius gave a nod and chose to stick close by the Magos, primed and ready to attack any threats that would do a holy agent of their Cult harm. The others... could take care of themselves.
"As you wish, Magos." he states, yet he soon locks onto the sound of the whisper. He draws his pistol to the source of the disturbance, trying to figure out its origin.
Kelrys followed along, quietly keeping an eye out for suspicious activity as she gripped her shuriken pistol. Dead Imperials, so whatever was here was clearly hostile. She pondered exactly what it was. Orks? Chaos? Corsairs? Whatever it was, it seemed to still be here, judging from the whisper the group heard. She looked to the others, then where the whisper had originated.
