Lion waved with his hand, ordering the squad to fall in as he began walking towards one of the few streets still unsecured. "Let's go, if we're lucky then maybe the last auditor surrenders for a change." He chuckled before moving on.
((I want to get off Doomevil's Wild Ride))
"You got another one on your tail!" The three fighters dogded pieces of debris as they dueled among the fleet. Taking the lead was a Crimus fighter desperately trying to avoid getting shot down by a SDF fighter tailing it. Behind the SDF fighter was another Crimus fighter, a red colored menace belonging to the fighter elite. "I got yer back!" Suddenly a heavy dropship/gunship appeared from out of nowhere and blasted the red fighter with ease, turning it into scrap. "Nice shot! Thanks for the assist Nessie." Said the SDF pilot as he continued to tail the lone Crimus fighter. McKinze broke off and went hunting for a new target amongst the chaos above Zeruel. As hundreds of fighter and bomber squadrons had collided earlier the fighting had grown more intense as both sides had suffered numerous casualties. Scanning for targets McKinze noticed a squadron of SDF bombers trying to push towards the large battlecruiser duking it out with the SNV Mjolnir. Piloting his ship with ease he joined their formation and thanks to the Edison brothers the bombers no longer had to worry about getting flanked. "What's yer target?" "The bridge." Replied a stern pilot, trying to maintain his focus. "Copy, we're with ya." "Incoming! Six o' clock!" Yelled one of the tailgunners. Three red fighters had appeared from out of nowhere and opened fire. Despite doing their best to dodge the swarm of lasers one of the bombers suffered a hit, causing the entire ship to explode. "Fuck!" Yelled one of the other pilots. "Don't worry, we got this. Push the target." Suddenly the Nessie made a loop backwards, getting in behind the enemy fighters who quickly scattered. One of them was too slow however and took multiple hits to its side, causing the small fighter to lose control and crash into the battlecruiser. With sweat running down his face McKinze pushed himself to stay ontop of the ace pilots, after all he was more of ground-battle guy than a starfighter pilot. Another fight exploded as the pilot totally missed the side-mounted ballturrets manned by the Edisons. "One guy left, eh?" The radar was empty except for the bombers nearby. Suddenly the ship shook as the last ace pilot landed several hits on the topside of the Nessie. McKinze barely managed to stabilize the ship as he tried to avoid crashing. "Light him up!" ----- The man yawned. Everything was so quiet. Boring. He had been guarding the same door for a year now and the most exciting thing had been when one of the perimeter parties had showed up unannounced in the middle of the night. He clenched to his rifle, a aging ballistic rilfe. He had only fired it two times, one time during basic training and one time to scare off some wild animals at one of the gates. The sound of footsteps brought him out of his daydreams. "Good morning sunshine." Said Kazlo, another guard assigned to this particular door. Gafi laughed. "You know very damn well that this job isn't very exciting, Kazlo." Kazlo chuckled as he brought out a cigarette. He passed over one to Gafi and then lit it. There was a quick moment of silence as both men inhaled and then exhaled the smoke, a ritual they did every single day. "Ain't that true, Gafi." Suddenly one of the bushes moved. Both men widened their eyes and almost choked on the cigarettes before spitting them out. They readied their weapons. "I swear, if its' one of the perimeter guards I'm gonna kick his face in. You never know when it's one of those jungle crawlers." Said Kazlo as he scanned the terrain. Gafi nodded. "Should we just shoot at the bushes for the hell of it? They'd stop pranking us for sure." He turned around to look at Kazlo who was chuckling. A red dot was at the center of his forehead. Kazlo saw the same thing on Gafi. Their bodies fell to the makeshift flooring, a couple of boards to keep the mud away. Blood started to pour out from their heads. "Rider One to HQ; hostiles down, approaching the compound." Several figures wearing SSFD armor emerged from the jungle. These soldiers in particular were members of the Rider unit, known for operating fast they have a reputation for only leaving dead insurgents as proof of them ever being there. The squad formed up on both sides of the door. The squad leader, whom had a blue stripe on his helmet and pauldrons nodded towards the soldier on the other side. "Two, flash and clear. Nine and ten, watch the door." A cylindrical grenade was produced from a pouch and the soldier twisted it untill the word "ARMED" appeared on the top. He opened up the door carefully just enough to fit a grenade. "Flash out!" The grenade was tossed in and the door was slammed together loudly, meant to draw the attention of the enemy. Bang. Yelling could be heard as the militia soldiers were blinded and deafened, soon the soldiers rushed in and ended them relatively fast. "Clear! Five tangos down!" Yelled the squad leader. The squad pushed on through a series of corridors in the base which was infact a old mining facility. "Rider One this is HQ, you're approaching your target. Shoot to kill order is still in effect." "Understood." A door marked with a white orb was now infront of the soldiers who formed up. The white orb was infact Luna, Terra's moon and symbol of the Lunar Children. "Prepare to breach."
Harken Saw tilted his head when he heard the sounds of rummaging in the smoke and debris. He moved forward to see the shadow silhouette marching the way to their position. Out of the smoke appeared Sertum, sword activated with deadly intention. Harken Saw tilted his head and opened his arms. "Boys and girls we've finally have our final Auditor at our doorstep! I trust you all to kill him and we'll have vengeance fulfilled." Harken Saw then went towards the ship he settled on before dispatched along with Vara. Sertum sliced several Privateers in an instant and attempted to sprint at Harken Saw's ship. The ship ascended to higher heights and streamed itself through the sector. Sertum was already too late in killing the man. Sertum shook his head and attacked those that attacked. ... Harken Saw closed his eyes and was relieved. This feud was finally coming to a close and he was delighted in finishing it.
Pippin raised his weapon and fired at the Auditor
"Engage!" Lion brought out his Last Stand LMG, spinned up the barrel and opened fire.

He saw a nearby wrecked car and hauled it towards Pippin.
"Engage!" Lion brought out his Last Stand LMG, spinned up the barrel and opened fire.
Mini Roll Critical Success[9]: Lion unleashed round after rounds after Sertum threw the car, scratching the shield as he marched towards the robot. "My will to protect my people is stronger than your weapons." He declared.
"That might be so, but your will is not stronger than my will to help the galaxy." Lion fired another salvo while slowly moving sideways, allowing other crewmembers to flank.
"That might be so, but your will is not stronger than my will to help the galaxy." Lion fired another salvo while slowly moving sideways, allowing other crewmembers to flank.
Mini Roll[2]: Before Lion could let loose another salvo his arm holding his weapon was immediately sliced in half by Helden. Sertum grabbed Lion by the throat and hauled him off the ground. "Saving the Galaxy. It is a wish for many. A wish that could have come true." He admitted he stared at him, tightening the grip. "My friend, I'm afraid your goal will not save lives or help the Galaxy. You are simply another pawn for a tyrant who claims to destroy an artifact will save lives. I wasn't lying when this Oracle belonged to us." Sertum then threw Lion far away as he reached for Last Stand, smashing it beyond repair. "You are not helping the Galaxy, you are only accelerating it to its destruction. "By helping out the people who started this mess in the first place."
Lion used his other hand to grab the LWA Spacehawk from its holster. He quickly entered a firing position and fired one of the powerful handmade bullets. "For Jeremy!" He yelled.
Dwan pulled out his revolver and aimed at Sertum. "If you're going to say things like that, you might as well reveal everything.", Dwan said.
"No matter how much I've explained to your blinded Captain about my warnings he was still daring enough to face death. I doubt my explanations will do good to you people. You've caused too much. And Harken Saw has too." Sertum said multiple shots fired at every direction. "Vengeance. You have already killed the rest. Harken Saw has no doubt ordered you to kill me as well. You don't deserve explainations. Not after everything here." Sertum said before getting shot by Lion.
Lion used his other hand to grab the LWA Spacehawk from its holster. He quickly entered a firing position and fired one of the powerful handmade bullets. "For Jeremy!" He yelled.
Mini Roll[6]: The bullets fazed Sertum, but nevertheless kept going without major damage.
Dwan stepped back slightly, still aiming towards Sertum. "How are you so sure your explanations wouldn't work on at least half of us?", he asked.
Sertum then stared at Dwan before moving forward. "Perhaps you should reveal everything yourself before I do." He suggested.
Viper leaped into the fight, landing to an damaged but ever valiant Lion. Taking a defensive stance between Lion and Sertum, ready to intercept an another attack towards it's injured captain.
Dwan continued stepping back, as he stared down Sertum with the gun. "I have nothing noteworthy to reveal. Unless you think otherwise.", he dared. "And besides, we shouldn't change the topic at hand. The Crimus, why you house people here, your truth about HarkArk and, well, what you've seen in your lifetime. Folter did mention how you've been around for hundreds of years.", he quipped.
"If you continue to withhold information from me and your comrades then I will fight until I serve even in death."
"So, what you're saying is that if I reveal myself, you'll stop fighting?", Dwan said in a somewhat curious, but slightly sarcastic tone.
Sertum had enough of the man's talking. He has to reveal it. He walked closer and had his sword activated "It is time you stop playing games with me Dwarf. I have been in the Galaxy for hundreds of years. Your kind traveling in universes should be at their own realm. Harken Saw has been playing you for a fool." Sertum pointed his sword at him. Then to Lion. "Do you call yourself a Captain?"
Dwan was surprised by Sertum's rage. He backed off a little. "Hey, hey, I just wanted to know if you were going to be reasonable. Don't worry, I'll reveal everything.", he said sarcastically. Dwan made a little cough. He gave the group a little wink, before yelling. "I AM A ALMIGHTY ALIEN GOD FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSE! I CAN SHOOT LASERS FROM MY TOES, MAKE PORTALS WITH MY HANDS AND MAKE THE BEST BEER THIS SIDE OF THE OMNIVERSE! IF IT WEREN'T FOR THOSE PESKY UNIVERSAL LAWS, I WOULD'VE ENDED THIS WEEEEKS AGOOOOOO!", he yelled in the most sarcastic, nonchalant way possible. "NOW, HEAR MY ROAR!", he yelled, as he screamed the loudest demonic roar he could roar. The wink, as well as the way he declared his secret, were to show the group that he was kidding. Hopefully, they'll play along with Sertum and act nonchalantly about it as well.
[Don't mind me in this. I'm just gonna write this so the squad won't stand around like dunces during the fight.] "Mercury, take a shot at him!" "Can't. That shield looks too tough." He looked around and noticed something poking from a window in the nearby window."That looks like a sniper. Can't say if friendly or enemy. Anyway, could be useful as a distraction. I'll go see." "You're leaving us now?" "I'll be back, don't worry. Maxon, you're in charge of the pups until I get back. Whatever Lion or the rest of the crew orders you to do, do it. And Jester, you keep that urn safe." Before he could leave, Mercury witnessed Dwan's speech. He decided to play along. "Oh yeah. He can do that. There was something about eating lighting and crapping thunder." He turned to the rest and said in a quieter tone. "Now, you lot listen to the angry dwarf god, while I try to actually do something." He quietly snuck out. Mercury made his way to the building's inside and where he though he saw the sniper poking out. He was right that it was a sniper, but he wasn't sure about the friend or foe nature of the one using it. The room was populated by several members of the Gold dusts. Mercury hid behind the wall. "What do you think? Kill shot?" the sniper inquired. The larger member took out the cigar from his mouth."Ne. Don't take the shot now. Let him tire himself out with the rabble outside. Then we shoot him full of tranquilizer and sell him off to the highest bidder." Mercury thought he found the leader. One more look from behind the wall showed that the larger fellow didn't have sleeves, revealing his high rank tattoos. "Really confident in those things, aren't you?" "Heh, this has enough to bring down a charging tarkkot. It should handle one angry robot man. Bonus points if he's damaged from a fight." "Won't that reduce the bounty?" "My heart can take a billion less." Mercury heard a click of a gun behind him."Boss, we got a visitor." "Bring him in." The leader looked at Mercury as he was brought in. "Well, a Boome marine. Your luck must have run out. What brings you here?" "Wondering why you fuckers aren't firing on that big metal bastard outside. But I see you're busy fantasizing about money instead of doing your job." "Oh, well. Big boss man left? Good. You boys step outside for a smoke. Me and this runt are gonna have a chat." The other Gold dusts left the room. One of them looked at Mercury and grinned. "You see a few years ago, you lot did a job for me. Something about a prison transport. Later on I lost the cargo because the prisoners escaped with smuggled weaponry. I wan't to collect on that." "You pick now to settle some banking issues?" "Payback won't come in the form of credits." The large bastard grabbed Mercury by the neck and threw him against the wall. Shattering it and him landing in the next room. "I'm gonna beat the ever loving shit out of you, then I'll find the rest of your team and do the same to them." Mercury got back on his feet and put up his arms in a boxing position. "Well then. What are you waiting for you big bastard? Let's dance."
"Very well Dwarf, I have warned your crew about many things. But consider this: Your days are numbered. That is truth." He concluded before marching towards Lion.
Viper hastily positioned itself towards Sertum as launched his dash towards Lion. The ends of the Sanghvi's leg were firmly stab into chard concrete under it with talons and claw ready to halt his charge towards it's Captain.
As Sertum marched towards Lion, Dwan did a quick sigh. No one believed him, despite him telling the truth; that's all that mattered to him. He's brought back to reality when Viper threw himself towards Sertum. "One truth exchanged for another, eh?", he said sarcastically. With palms dry, knees strong and light arms, he centered his revolver towards Sertum. "I roar my heart out and you won't even spill your side of the story.", he said. His finger was on the trigger. If Sertum were to attack him because of his response, he'd fire.

One major pierce and Viper disabled the shields. Slowly restarting. [editline]19th January 2016[/editline] Victus poured himself some whiskey and gulped down on the content before turning towards Harken Saw. He adjusted his tie and was rather relaxed. Harken Saw pointed a gun at him while Vara looked at both, switching continuously. "A CEO who's capable of building many things, able to march his way up here. You are truly unique." Victus sat down, liting up a cigar. Harken Saw wizened his eyes and walked forward. He chuckled. "I am. I'm quite good at what I do. Damn good if I say" Harken Saw admitted while Victus pretended to care. Victus avoided eye contact until he asked a question. "Why are you here?" His eyes pointed at Harken Saw. Harken Saw's face eased. "You know why I'm here." He answered. "To destroy the Oracle and the Conduit. Hmph. Does she know of what that Conduit will do?" Harken Saw turned back to Vara and nodded. "I'd say she damn well knows about it and what I'm going to do with it." Saw responded. Victus went silent before pouring another content of whiskey into his glass. Harken Saw pressed his gun forward at Victus and pressured him. "Where is your council of thugs?" "Gone. I'm the only one you're dealing with now." Victus declared before taking a sip while a gun was being pointed at him. Harken Saw nodded and smiled. "I'd say this once, give yourself up and tell me about your hierarchy and I won't kill you." He offered. Victus tilted his head and stared before shaking his head. "Won't happen. Never will. You'll end up killing me right now if I told anything. I don't play that game." Harken Saw clenched his hand and blinked. "Regardless, your little hideouts and other goons won't be hiding for long. As soon as I deal with the Richter, the Oracle, and this Conduit. I can die satisfied." Harken Saw explained. Victus rolled his eyes and stared. "To destroy the Conduit will ultimately blow this planet up." He said. Harken Saw watched him tense his face before looking down. He closed his eyes and grinned. "Well, that's a shame. But, I'm used to collateral damage." Harken Saw sighed and chuckled. "You see, I simply don't care about what others think. Their goals. Their motivations. They fall under me. I'm the King. I can do whatever I please. And there's nobody that can do so otherwise with the exception of Auditors, which they're all dead." Harken Saw moved closer until he could see the full detail of Victus's face unfazed by Harken Saw. "I've succeeded, and you didn't. You're the side that will wither away into a fallen Empire. People will despise you until you're nothing but a nightmare. An urban legend. Boogeymen for the kids to hear at night. A perfect ending." Harken Saw opened his arms outward. Victus guffawed at the near explaination of Harken Saw's speech. Almost slamming his fist on the table. The egolistical man was already gloating. "What's so funny?" Harken Saw raised his voice, still aiming at Victus. "Can't you tell, you're hilarious. You've think you've got the entire playground to yourself. But look at you. You're just another player who's willing to take everyone down with you if it's not up to your plan. " Victus exclaimed before placing his hands on the desk, eye to eye. "You don't care about the potential of destruction. Why? Because you've already done it years ago. You don't care about destroying the Oracle because it's dangerous. You care about it because it belongs to people you hate. You're willing to distort the truth so long as you've gained an advantage. Regardless of lives, regardless of relationships you're willing to sacrifice everything just so you can get the last laugh." He remarked. Harken Saw pulled the trigger and shot Victus through the chest, going down on the table. Harken Saw stared at him for a few seconds before turning. Victus coughed up blood and held his chest pulling himself up. "I'll tell you a secret... When push comes to shove and everyone turns sour: whether it'll be a new Terran league, Kanads gone horde, enemies coming to kill us... Even a new person just like you. We'll still be alive to set right what went wrong." Harken Saw turned and aimed, firing a few projectiles against Victus. Victus knocked back and laid dead. Harken Saw went towards his body and fired a few rounds just to make sure. "Not in another 108 years." Harken Saw raised his voice before going towards another room. Harken Saw then heard a beep, a tranmission from a Privateer. He shrugged and answered the call. "SIR!" Harken Saw rolled his eyes and answered, what was happening out there was simply not the time to respond at this moment. "What?" "We've got casualities everywhere! Adeptors are getting shot down!" Harken Saw didn't respond but kept listening to the panicked yelling and firepower exchanging from all directions. "Damnit, sir call some backup! We're getting slaughtered like fuckin pigs. Jesus christ it's only one person!" Static accumulated before Harken Saw blinked but chose to ignore the plea and request. "You've done a good sacrifice soldier." Harken Saw stated. "You son of a-" Silent grew to the radio and earned a slap from Vara. A look of rage was on her face. "What the hell is the matter with you?!" "The end is near. He chose to fight for me and that is the consequence. Now if you excuse me I got one last chore before I talk to the big man himself." He said with delight before blinking twice. They say eyes are prized processions, so long as you see, you can believe. Harken Saw twitched coming from his cybernetic eye, uploading a video to an unknown contact.
The end is near, little time left. I suggest you get your Kanad friends out of this planet before something happens.
He then sent a small attachment to the mail before creating another one.
I think we both know how much I've gotten away with. But... consider this the last thing I've ever done for you. Do whatever you want with it. The world is yours.
"I am no captain, I am a man. A broken man. A soldier. A soldier who dreams of peace." Lion holstered the Spacehawk. He then brought out a black orb with two handles on the side from his RCU. Spikes emerged from his heels, burrowing him into the floor. "Let me show you what a madman sees, Sertum." He twisted the handles, opening the orb and unleashing the power of a small star onto Sertum.
Iska had zoned out for a bit, and when she came to all hell had broken loose. She slid down behind cover and peaked out to see if there was any opening for her to do any damage. Concluding there was currently no opening she took out a cigarette and lit it. Leaning back against the wall ahe looked at her tattoo, the story of her entore life so far. Iska let out a deep sigh, she was getting tired of all this fighting, and mostly she just wanted to go home.
Pippin pulled himself off the ground after avoiding being hit by the car and fired once again at Sertum.

Sertum held his sword tightly, stabbing Helden to the ground covering his front side and protected himself. The energy increased ten fold and collided against Helden. In a decisive victory the energy instantly went away as Helden managed to repel the attack. Sertum placed a few steps back from the attack and took the sword out of the pavement. Sertum shook his head. "So am I." But Sertum a true madmen would dare defy the laws of the Galaxy to save it one day. It had to be this way. Differing sides were too blinded to see, even him.
