Aren't you guys tired of the fake players ? ( Bots who seem like players ) - Games

My ISP allows me to only see like 100 servers with players on them at anytime. Half of the servers are achivement idle, 20% are normal and the rest are filled with bots Fucking sucks, I can grab IPs from someone like a friend and connect just fine but I have no idea what servers are good in my range(aka give me good ping), so I'm stuck with joining bot games/normal servers with meh players.

Most of the shitty 24/7 always have 23 player servers are loaded with bots that are not nearly as good as Valvebots. PS: any time each team has more than two engies and you're going for the last point, ye've got a bot problem.

Easy way to check is if they have your avatar.

I use to run a server with 2 bots forced to be medics to make up for some games that went without a medic for BLU or RED. But of course everyone still complained, dispite that it was helping the team rather than stealing kills.

It's amazing when you join a server with 23 people but the server actually is empty. I just added like every Hell Gamers servers to my Blacklist thanks to that.

I'm starting to grow sick of all the Bots/Fakeplayercounts/Premium shit running around too. I must have somewhere around 200 servers blacklisted at this point.

I saw some tutorial on how to fake player numbers and all that shit the other day, right pissed me off. I don't understand why they even bother with it, the minute I get in and see three to a side without even the common courtesy of bots I'm'a leave.

OK, so since the old blacklist effort I had ended up crashing and burning, I've been considering the opposite approach; a server "whitelist" More accurately, an online list of "known good" servers that don't use shitty settings like bots, fake players, fast respawns, etc. server admins would have to submit their servers for review, etc. However this wouldn't be integrated into tf2 directly; you'd have to browse the list on tf2stats and click on the server from there to join. Or alternatively I could write an offline program that replaces your favorites list with those servers; though it seems more annoying than the former.

I once entered a server filled with bots. All of them were named "boycott the valve store", "boycott the valve store (1)", etc. It was so hilarious, I didn't mind.

Ah, saigns.de has them, I was playing on it yesterday. The worst part is that the bots have their "premium" account thing, they move faster, have 6 rockets/grenades etc and hit 80% of the time.

I went to a server that actually steals avatars and sometimes names from players and gives it to bots. Servers are getting really sophisticated with their bots now.
