You guys realize this is one big troll thread, right?
someone has an opinion that differs from mine? Obvious Troll Is Obvious.
the op is just dumb. although he does have a point, the gayz0rback is a piece of shit with extremely situational uses. but making it more powerful is a bad idea since the whole idea behind this unlock is rubbish to begin with.
What if the Razorback reduced Backburner crit damage? While this doesn't fix the poor design problem, I think it kinda expands on the current concept.

Or better yet, how about it reduces any damage taken from the back?
Here's a an amazing and possibly revolutionary, maybe even innovative thought: If it doesn't fit your playstyle, don't use it. Throw them away. Use them in crafting. Obviously the Razorback- oh sorry GAYZORBACK LULZ AM I COOL YET -fits the playstyle of other people, and trying your hardest to convince them not to use it just makes you look dumb. That's like telling you not to use the knife since whenever I play Spy, I only Rambo in (lol) with my revolver. Also cloaking is for scrubs, I can kill anything just shooting. Duh, it's a shooting game! Stupid Valve should just let me have another revolver in the other hand! Stupid fucking scrubs.
. GAYZORBACK LULZ AM I COOL YET.
You're not cool until you rate yourself agree/funny/useful/informative/artistic.

But I don't want to. :frown:

The Razorback would replace the Medi-Gun in that situation. What the fuck's the point?

your is are retarded. cheers.
The razorback is the ultimate spy-avoider (most noob spies forget they have a revolver) but i have 1 suggestion for it: make it Sappable. A sapper will disable the battery and you will be able to break the razor and backstab the sniper.
Also, it should be the Kukri replacement

It needs a buff!
Not a frickin' nerf.
Maybe make it able to withstand about 5 backstabs or so, and reduce damage taken from behind by 30%.
Con is that the sniper would be 10% slower in run speed.
What about a health buff to further encourage being on the front lines?
Take him up to 150 or 160.

That would make it a wicked hard trade between Jarate and the Razorback. One problem there, though, is what happens when the shield is broken? You lose the health, or what?

Your max health is reduced, but your current health isn't.
Health decays like overheal to new max.
That could work.

Yeah.
Also consider this: A Spy might want to break it now on purpose, to reduce the Sniper's max health. He could limit the Sniper now at the cost of being vulnerable for a bit. That would be an interesting game play decision.
What about making it that you can only see it when your close to it? Like one of those fading sprays.
Yeah.

Hm. Strategy change, have to protect your Razorback from Spies. Heh.
Con wise, I really don't like the movement speed penalty. Even if I get a non-decaying overheal buff up to 150, something which happens occasionally with some servers, my mobility is what saves me, not my health. The health helps, I'm not gonna lie, but still.
We're already sacrificing the use of a weapon or Jarate, so that's a pretty big con, but then again the health boost and backstab stop overbalance that. Maybe a slower charge/pullback time on your primary?
Make it grant +25 hp
Done, it's balanced.

Wouldn't really make a difference for the Spy. Backstabs are instakills, and 2 headshots (102 damage for HS and 46-51 for bodyshot according to TF2wiki) with the Ambassador or 3 with the revolver (55-60 damage) would still kill the Sniper.

It would help in active combat, like if you were a Huntsman Sniper.
The Razorback is fine as it is. Most people just don't see it's potential.
You mean it's potential to take up a slot you could use for a up close and personal weapon in favour of a one shot life save against an enemy who is behind you ready to shoot you in the skull?
It should be a big sign strapped to you that says "I make poor decisions"

A huntsmen sniper is better off with the smg since one hit from that bullshit awp wannabe plus a few smg rounds can take out pretty much anyone.

Aww, did somebody get their ass handed to them by a skilled Huntsman?
I think the razorback should go into the misc slot and take away 15% speed like it originally did(except for the misc part, it was -15% before which wasnt good, bu in misc -15% speed would be good.)
Really, the Razorback just shouts "DO NOT BACKSTAB" if your a spy. So you have to have the Ambassador to deal with Razorback Snipers.

I wish I could left click. Than I could be a skilled huntsmen too.
