The sniper shoots, and straight line is checked for obstacles, instantly. Even if he timed it right, there is just no logic checking if there is an airblast in the way of the bullet. In contrast with this, arrow is a physical object, with given speed and collision box, traveling through both time and space.

He's not even that good, I mean he's decent but if you want to watch an amazing pyro frag movie, go and watch "Meet The PROro" made by Bloodsire it's 10 times better.

only thing i have trouble with is reflecting demo nades while they are still in the air

You can reflect anything that isn't bullets or the Medic's needles.

I wouldn't be so mad if more pyros were doing awesome tricks like this. That takes skill, but it pisses me off when any two bit fuck can come in and dominate half of a team with one class by just going forward and holding down attack

Playing around with Randomizer, I once got Medic with a rocket launcher and spent the entire remaining round just rocket jumping around the map. It was amazing how high I got.

When it comes to Pyro vs pyro for me i just charge in. Your just going to respawn anyway

If it's Pyro vs Pyro, I just let them come to me. Then I airblast them back... They keep trying to hit me with their flamethrower, but I just take out my shotgun, and kill 'em. Really, I did that and a guy raged. Then ragequitted.

Some of the stuff this guy does (as well as that guy who did "Meet the PROro") is generally why I play Pyro when I feel like being an all-around dick. Like double-tapping Scouts/Snipers/Engineers/Spies with the Flaregun, they very rarely ever survive it. :v:

I have a lot of difficulty landing flare shots, need to work on that. I also have the annoying habit recently of airblasting before my target catches alight. Many many puff and stings have gone horribly wrong as a result.

He pulls some pretty amazing combos here and there. Often just lucky though. He must've recorded a shit-ton to get this amount of usable material.

Every time I try to make a frag video it ends up being one of those times where I'm on a crap team, having a terrible day, the enemy team is a superleet clan or a combination of all 3. Maybe I should make a fragged video, where I record how I die over and over again.

I feel sad because I feel that I could be this good as Pyro. It's difficult playing at 10 FPS. I'm working on a new computer, though. Does that count?

Is that a script he's using to switch to flamethrower every time he shoots a flare, or does he just have quick fingers?

It's not too hard to do, just adjust your key bindings. I have MWUP set to primary, MWDOWN set to secondary, and F set to melee. It makes changing weapons incredibly easy and thoughtless. Try it, you'll never go back.

I have quickswitch on, but often I end up on the shotgun during a puff and sting, or pull out an axe mid-fight.

Also, about that video: I was recording the whole thing in power saver mode, making the framerate even worse. Such a low framerate could have a negative effect on the kill count. So I'm gonna try it again. It turns out that I was in power saver mode for the past month or so. That explains why my computer was chugging... (I still get a max of 30 FPS on good days, though.)

I wish I could aim the Flare Gun like that, with my aim it is nothing more than a distress beacon :frown: Also I need to time my airblasting more, pissing on snipers with their own piss looks hella fun.
