Yes and some other stuff too.

I put it for a reason but I forgot it.
StinkyJoe has been offline for roughly 3 days. I've been doing some work myself, but without him we're not getting too far on the backend.

Poke fireslash then. :v:

lol he tends to do this A LOT. Disappears spontaneously.
TF2 Emporium website take 3, here we come.
Don't even say that Keychain...
I'll lose hope in Galago forever if this website fades away

Really? It's not my problem, I've always been working. It's just other people who tend to disappear.

Well I don't mean to be rude, but I will probably forget about the website if StinkyJoe doesn't pull through...
Very cool site, man! Can't wait 'till it's finished! :smug:

Just wanna say I haven't disappeared, and I still have faith in this. The only problem is that without the website working there's not much to do on the client.
I could make time for this.
Though it means I'm going to have to give up the time I'd allotted for sex and video games.
I love you that much.
Oh, God. The website is looking incredibly awesome.
Keep on with the good work :v:
I've had to completely rewrite the code for the GUI, in fact it was so shitty and messed that I would have had to make 3 copies of the same code to get 3 windows.
Now it's all nice and tidy. I've created a nice framework for future integration of new stuff and I CAN FUCKING FINALLY PUT WIDGETS ON THE WINDOW WITH COMPLETE FREEDOM!
Now, I'll start engineering the rest of the GUI while the puny guys working on the site finish it up and render it working.

Was Filipe that one who worked on WotS? Or am I thinking of a different Filipe
Not to be rude about your widgets and fancy icons and shit but surely all it needs is
INSTALL MOD
UNINSTALL MOD (doubtful)
CONFIGURE PATH
EXIT
And preferably it wouldn't even need that, you'd just drag a zip file onto the shortcut on your desktop and the mod would be installed, right?
"Stop right there, criminal scum!"

You know, you can't make a program with the snap of a finger and without a having a working backend first.
This is going to be awesome!
Where the hell is Joe?!
Been looking at this thread from afar and I have to commend you guys on your work so far, the website and program is making my eyes jizz.
If you need anything graphic-wise, I can lend my skills but it seems that's covered already. The least I can do for now is give you guys some encouragement, so good luck and keep up the good work!

You should really stop trying to overly simplify shit to where you're cutting corners. I've seen other posts from you where you're trying to push things along, which is understandable, but you're doing it by compromising not only aspects of the project as a whole which are going to be beneficial in the end but also aspects of the developmental process that ensure the project is built and completed smoothly. It's like forcing your ears to listen to a horrible quality audio file just because it means you download it quicker than a good quality audio file, but which has the better result and offers a more enjoyable listening experience? Such as your post about just getting the site up with functionality and no design, though the site would get online quicker, it would become problematic later and more of a pain in the ass for the coder. A design is as much of a foundation to a website as is the code that allows it to function. You can only go so far when coding a site without a design because it's a tool for testing functionality and you need to ensure aspects of the site work with the design, but I digress.
About the dragging a .zip to the icon, my understanding is it's going to be directly integrated into the site as an alternate download method. You click whatever represents using the client on the site and it downloads the mod and installs it automatically, similar to how you can join ventrilo servers or steam games via websites. I mentioned in an earlier post if the client automatically closes itself after a successful install, then getting new mods would be a matter of a single click. (hot shit)

He really just wants a functioning site, he's not trying to rush them into scrapping the aesthetic side entirely.
