The Facepunch Emporium is what inspired this.
But the OP says it will also include a forum with thread for WIP projects.
I doubt it'll kill the one on FP. The emporium website presumably hopes to attract talent from outside of facepunch, as well as inside. This means that there will likely still be a few facepunch loyalists who will stick to the original thread.

I haven't dissapeared, but the website is dead if Filipe is dead. FYI, people, Filipe is more important than me in this project. He's doing the whole backend, which I have no idea about.

I can't really hire a new guy if I can't get the info from the old guy. Filipe's got his workflow set up, I can't really just "lift" that and give it away.
Well if Filipe DOES die, restart again but with Fireslash. With him, you will finish, and succeed.
Take Filipe's toys away from him, so he can concentrate on the site.
