Here's a question
Where are you going to be hosting the mods? Letting the authors take care of it or are you going to have a dedicated downloads server? This could be a main factor that could make or break this project.
Personally, I'd save myself some dollar and host the files on something like MediaFire.

I just moved everything to a high-capacity host, that should be enough for the near future - 1Gbps line, unlimited bandwidth and 'unlimited' space - we should be able to host all the files ourselves for quite some time.

We'd like suggestions from you Silent Sammys... not design wise, but anything to help make the website's functionality acceptable.
Just the basics. File upload, file download (with preview images). A little moderator panel so you can say whether something is acceptable or not. Ratings, comments... it can all come later.

YES. Do that, please. I'd like to see how it works with a small group of yaknow, humans, and not the FPSB monsters they let roam the streets.
For beta release:
Rate [B]agree [/B]to open the website to Emporium members only.
Rate [B]disagree [/B]to open the website to all Facepunch members.
Rate [B]funny [/B]to open the website to everyone.
Rate [B]informative [/B]to open the website to members of a newly-created group solely for this purpose.
Emporium members wouldn't be a lot of people. Especially since 1 or 2 are kinda inactive in the emporium lately.

Good news everyone! The TF2 Emporium has inspired a website, which is now being developed! Wait... haven't you heard this before? Yes, that's right, my old project is dead. But do not fret, because we are starting anew! StinkyJoe and myself plan to design another TF2 Emporium website.

More like uncapped which isn't unlimited, you just get what the host can provide.
Still suggest adding mirror support if you've just decided to scrap it because of that move.
