Needs more comic sans and clip art gifs. :v:
But seriously that website/application looks great, I hope it gets up soon.
That isn't the domain.
Well what is it then? I remember the domain being TF2emp.com last thread you made....

Can't say at the moment, it's hush hush.
So erm.. Galago.. have you read my pm or looked at that proposal for the program? You haven't said anything about it.
Goddamn, this is gonna be hot shit.
I really hate the "TF2 Emporium" logo thing because of the font it's in. I also personally think that it would be better with TF2 build, like you had it in that one picture, even if the rest of the website doesn't match. Not complaining, just saying my thoughts.
The design is final until the website is fully functional.

Still no estimated release date? :tiphat:
Stop asking for a release date, it's done when it's done. I want constructive feedback in this thread, not inquires of a release date. If no one posts anything useful, we just has to go with our best judgement. The things we'd like to discuss are functionality, not visual design. The website looks acceptable as-is, so any changes will have to come after it's already rolling. Functionality-wise, we're very open to discussion at this point, considering that's what we're actually doing.
Strong and handsome Medic poses as our model constructive poster:
List of things that (most of the time) are shit and easy to spot:
Recolours
Tribal skins
Filtered textures
Logos or crappy drawings stamped on the texture
Furry or penis models
Anime character models or other completely irrelevant characters
Sound packs containing YTP quotes or 4chan memes
Ported content
Did I forget something?
Requesting an API.
also add some sort of tagging system so I could say, filter out everything but engie mods, or wrench replacements, etc

Sorry, was just wondering because I'm pretty hyped about this.
Can't wait to see the Emporium as a whole webite, this will really move things forward I think, having it as some thread on another forum is just strange, espicially considering a lot of the content produced went into some of the Community Updates.

API is already in the works (namely, for the client application) - what functionality would you like to have?
Alright, me, Galago and StinkyJoe talked a bit about the app and planned a bit of stuff. More about it soon.

Agreed. Facepunch doesn't get enough attention from Valve.

what if we get an "official tf2 emporium" website like the wiki :allears:

emporium.teamfortress.com
I'd cream my pants

That would probably be tied into the search functionality. We already had that feature planned.

Looks, awesome joe.
Fucking can't wait

Slightly modified top buttons, increased readability of the green area, and decreased overall drop-shadow cast by the application (hence the lighter background to see it better).
It looks like sex in website form.

Is this the layout of the program?
It will feature a vanilla button right?
Or undo last mod/skin?
So far it's pure sex :3:

An all purpose mod enable/disable panel, that's all you need.
This is gonna be soooo sweet. :neckbeard: I would kill to moderate. :v:
Little mockup I threw together. All shopped, except the window (I created an empty window with a few lines of code just for the purpose)

My idea for the program is to work in 2 ways: either from the site, by clicking on download on one of the mods it opens one of those links like tf2emp://72615, and the program directly downloads the mod, or by popping in the link (or maybe just a number, the program could fill the rest by itself) and pressing the button. The latter one could be useful for sharing mod links between people on chats or forums.
I didn't finish reading the thread yet, but I think there's something much more important that this mod could be used for other than installing mods. UNINSTALLING them. Which, by association, means the mod will keep track of which files are modified/installed by the new mods. Which means it can keep track of collisions, too, like weapons replacements et al.
