well idealy the stuff i want (namely medic) will be craftable upon release like the polycount packs were
All the new weapons are. They're still a good refined each.
Since it may be linked with the Pocket Soldier items, here's an idea for the banner I had
Rage builds with Medic's ubercharge rate. The more you're healed, the faster your rage grows.
Your boost sends out a heal beam to everyone in a radius around you, and they heal at 50% of the current rate you are being healed at. Everyone being healed also helps build up your Medic's uber quickly.
Because right now we have a banner that lets you do more damage when you do more damage
A banner that lets you take less damage if you take lots of damage
A banner that lets your team gain some health back the more they attack, with rage built as a combination of the first two.
So the other banner I could think of healed defensively. And the best way to charge it would to be to piggyback off your medic's ubercharge. The Soldier's rage would only need 50% of the Medic's uber though, so it wouldn't take quite as long to build.

Hmm. If it's stats were new, wouldn't they were at the STS? I haven't seen any of the such stats, so might it be they left out the banner entirely or is there some name reffering to it?
If they seriously give Pyro a freaking television for a hat, they should put this in game already.

EDIT:
And OBVIOUSLY the Jetpack should only be a misc item.
Since the art style died long ago, I actually want this. I'd want the jetpack as a secondary, though. Obviously it should be balanced somehow. Also, it would actually make Pyro the master of ambushes, which he was suppose to be(Which he totally isn't, a Scout is much better at it).
Also, I'm still so worried about those damn isotopes. Either this update will be the best of all time, or the one which kills the game for me. Oh god the suspense!

there were quite a few strings I couldn't get screenshots of from the source, and never saw or talked about them, so they may have been on those pages.

There's a difference between "Art Style" and "Tone", the tone isn't the same, but it's still the same "style" as TF2 ever was, Pyro's wearing a tf2 styled tv on his head.

Oh. There was even more on STS? "I am very khappy!"
Paint effects & and the ability to import custom images onto a badge or something like that?
Sounds good to me

Eh, the original intends with the art style was for it to be a 1940-1960 based FPS, with only a few items slightly off, such as medigun/spy watches/teleports. By now, a lot of items is out of the time period TF2 is set in, hell some items don't even have a time period like the Rift items. Also, the art style thing was more a reference to that complaint about "The art style is dead, ZOMG!" which show up each time Valve updates the game.
I say, that shit died long ago, so bring on the Astro-Pyro's and jetpacks! WOOOSH!
SPAAAAAAAAACEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
If a lot of these weapons use the stats in the beta, I have a feeling that they will turn out just like the Vita-Saw. Nobody will use them because their stats are shit.

Well, the Detonator and Quick-Fix will do just fine.
But I'm sure many fear the newest beta items will make it in. Those items only promote Medic's being up in Soldier players ass all the time. There is enough bad Medic's as it is already.
How did you go about actually attaching that to the model, may I ask? I've been trying to see if it was possible with Portal 2 using items_game.txt
I used my Wiki Cap because it already had a particle effect attached. I just swapped out the particle for the one I created. You also need to add the new particle to particles_manifest.txt
I still don't get the term "paint effects".

TV Screen, Splendid Screen. Not that big of a leap, but not at all a guarantee. I'm curious, did you submit that hat? What name did you submit it with?
I still don't get the term "paint effects".
It's a new unusual effect which makes your hat flash between all the current paint colours :v:
Scouts will be cry on sight(stun effect) because of the rainbow like effect.
Well I'm not going to see the battle worn heavy pack in game for a very long time :v:

Right, I still want that one in-game as well. Also, Engineer still need a polycount pack, stop the Engineer hate already, Valve!
I also want the Spy Legacy Pack. I cried a little inside when it wasn't chosen, even if the Saharan Spy Pack is great too.

Half my kingdom for that Revolver and Razor unlock, seriously!

I liked Frump's passport and Derringer, myself, but to each their own, both were awesome, I'd love to have seen that one as well.
An update is an update, so I'm gonna be happy when this comes out, provided the weapons aren't absolutely god-awful, I don't care too much about the hats, unusuals, or custom pins myself.

Well, judging by this one...
Low Health paint effect
Your health meter flashes red when you're low on OH CHRIST NO :byodood:

I also remember there being a gambler Spy pack, with playing cards such. I'm not sure if that pack was actually finished, though. Polycount actually had many amazing Spy packs now that I think about it. Saharan was actually one of the Spy packs I liked the least. Not because it's bad at all, just because there was so many amazing ones.
I feel the same, for the most part. The weapons is the important and most exciting part. I do care for hats, but it's not like I complain if I dislike the ones that's chosen. I just collect them and choose not to equip them if that's the case. The new unusual effects is "meh", they will be overpriced, and probably wont replace Purple Energy as my favourite effect. Custom pins, don't really care that much about them.
What I do care for is those isotopes. If they change weapon stats I'm going to explode on Valve. If they have another use, then bring them on, I don't care!

I hope it's yours. It's completely unfitting, but for some reason I really like it.
I'm going to wear it when I troll people :v:
with only a few items slightly off, such as medigun/spy watches/teleports.
They fit. The art style regarding machines is that they need to be big, clunky and volatile looking.

Just a heads up, you forgot to set the V0.1 of your custom particle video to private like you did the V0.5
Leaks are never good for valves, they create a lot of steam.
/Joke I ripped from SPUF.
Since when was the Vita-Saw shit?
It's a shame the Vita-Saw is a situational weapon. I play Arena a lot so I never use it even though its model is amazing...

Yup, they are indeed modelled to fit visually. I said the exactly same yesterday in an argument about how unfitting the Rift items was.
I was refering to them being SLIGHTLY unfitting because I'm pretty sure teleporters, healing beams and invisibility watches weren't invented back in 1960 :v:
