As for the moderator response, looks pretty standard, nothing out of the normal for it.

Alright, I now have a sniper, soldier, and heavy token, 3 scrap, and no primary tokens. I'm hoping for the best when the update is released.
Alright, I now have a sniper, soldier, and heavy token, 3 scrap, and no primary tokens. I'm hoping for the best when the update is released.
Whyyyy would you make tokens Just collect all the weapons you can and look at the recipe
everybody asks for your most valuable hat
I've been fortunate enough for this to never happen to me. (http://tf2b.com/?id=76561197994938886 it's not like my backpack is that bad either give me fucking backpack views) I also feel a bit sorry for the TF2 team since their inboxes must be filled with "plz add new content huehuehuehuehue", completely overshadowing any balance/bugs/etc emails that may have come through. I get the feeling that this is why we're getting so much content; more people wanted it.
Whyyyy would you make tokens Just collect all the weapons you can and look at the recipe
There exist cases where the token recipe is less costly than the straight-up recipe. I'm pretty sure that almost all of them were eliminated except one or two when the cost for some got reduced.
Whyyyy would you make tokens Just collect all the weapons you can and look at the recipe
There's a possiblity they won't have recipes for a while. Also, being content with my hats and weapons, there's very little thrill when it comes to crafting/the tf2 economy. Instead of keys and crates, I do weapons when updates come out.
I wonder how much A rimmed raincatcher or hardcounter with the new storm cloud effect will go for...............
There exist cases where the token recipe is less costly than the straight-up recipe. I don't think Valve is going to take away the token recipe after the update.
Whyyyy would you make tokens Just collect all the weapons you can and look at the recipe
There is no guarantee these new weapons will have recipes.
There is no guarantee these new weapons will have recipes.
I can't think of any weapons (beside official unlocks; y'know, the non-poly, oldschool day-by-day update) that doesn't have a recipe, not counting useless reskins, hell, even the fishcake has a specific craft.
There is no guarantee these new weapons will have recipes.
I think it's pretty certain that they'll have specific recipes, though Valve could pull a "oh whoops, we forgot to add the recipes with the update lol! Why don't you consider buying them over the weekend until we get them added?"
I can't think of any weapons (beside official unlocks; y'know, the non-poly, oldschool day-by-day update) that doesn't have a recipe, not counting useless reskins, hell, even the fishcake has a specific craft.
Yeah, they all have gotten them. After fucking year. Su, seriously, its obvious that getting new weapons is always pain in the ass.
Does anyone know what the beany effects look like?
It's a much better idea to just collect weapons. You can always convert them into scrap or tokens when you need them.
It's a much better idea to just collect weapons. You can always convert them into scrap or tokens when you need them.
But you can always trade newer weapons off for higher levels of metal, if someone is desperate enough.
The vicious cycle of spuf. - Whine about the "art style" being dead -Tinfoil thread -Hype builds -1 week-several months of waiting until update -People complain at the way the items look. Whine about game being unplayable/lost fps/etc. -People whine on a mass scale on weapon stats. -People whine about a nerf/buff that has taken place, "item is ruined". -People say this is the last time they ever play tf2 again & Ask valve to stop updating. -People find out about new Promotional items (and whine) -People come back to make hilariously retarded trade offers. -People become self aware of hypocrisy and start calling each other on their hypocrisy. -Repeat
sounds exactly like facepunch.
I'm quite sure the majority of TF2 players don't particularly mind either way about these updates. Most just take it as it comes Unlike my girlfriend Unfortunately
May I point out that the new weapons in beta were introduced barely a week ago? I really doubt that this week or the next we'll see another update. I call June.
TL;DR New update in Valve time
May I point out that the new weapons in beta were introduced barely a week ago? I really doubt that this week or the next we'll see another update. I call June.
who says the new weapons need to have the beta stats?
May I point out that the new weapons in beta were introduced barely a week ago? I really doubt that this week or the next we'll see another update. I call June.
Introduced to the public, maybe. Who knows how long Valve has been playing with them, though.
Introduced to the public, maybe. Who knows how long Valve has been playing with them, though.
Valve. Testing. :psyduck:
who says the new weapons need to have the beta stats?
They wont. That's exactly why estimating the update coming in around June is perfectly realistic.
BTW, what is STS? why am I rated winner?:v:
Steam Translation Server
I wish I could participate in it, I always wanted to translate names for TF2. Is there any way to apply for participation?

[sp]It's a shame it's shipped with a bunch of items that does not fit the TF2 theme very well.[/sp] [editline]3rd May 2011[/editline] My god, looking at TF2 these days is like looking at an octopus trying to tentacle rape a basket of snakes.
My god, looking at TF2 these days is like looking at an octopus trying to tentacle rape a basket of snakes.
:haw::fh: ... no really, I kinda agree. Yet, it doesn't bother me so much anymore. Sadly, I think I got used to it... :frown:
