I'm guessing that valve will fix the bugs that came from hatless update in this one. otherwise its pretty useless to add all these hats and nobody is able to see them on your class.

Hideous hasn't gotten mail, but I think it's a safe bet to assume that is our hat due to the description and I heard that SVDL only got the email earlier this week.

Hoping they actually include some crash fixes in the new update. The game is unstable for me and crashes randomly while loading or during matches. (I made a thread about it here in the tf2 forums if you are having the same issues)

False alarm, I just confirmed with Robin that the email was actually for the hats I had gotten into the game about a month ago. It would make sense for Svdl to also get an email since he had gotten a hat in with the same update. Therefore the recent string of emails sent out this week are [b]not[/b] related to any upcoming updates, and so Mnemosynaut, Pie Tony, Hideous, etc. need not worry about receiving any emails because there's still a possibility your hats got in. The unfortunate thing is that this also means the update may still be a long way off.

You'll get your mails, Valve is just slow in these things - they do seperate assignments and split them up between the devs - like how they used post-it's to make L4D2.
It just means the guy supposed to send you the mails hasn't done it yet.

they wont care for me, they already sent me 1 email for my details.
puts the fun back into TF2 contribute again.
Though I wouldn't be so depressed, they're certainly working on an update soon as confirmed on my email. If it's a major one or not I do not know.

So we all know there will be an update really soon, and the fact they gave the translation servers the code means that it must be coming soon, if it isn't this week then it's probably next week.
God damn it.
Considering there'll be an update... I'm going to back up my mods, as most updates remove some of my custom stuff.
I really hope tomorrow's the day. There is so much left that did not get leaked and only the things we have are making me mad about them.
I've been spoiled by fantasies of the update.
TF2 feels empty for now.
