If people are dumb enough to overpay for hats just because they are new, then that's their fault. They will all drop in price soon. I see all hats as equal, but there are people who like genuine hats, and from what i've seen, genuine hats are worth alot more than their non-genuine counterparts.

It does not matter. They are DIRTY HATS. You can craft a hat with a dirty item and get a new dirty hat, anyway.
There are other ways than purchasing the items to get dirty variants.

I also think since my keys are tradeable, they're a slight bit more valuable than store bought keys. You can't get a pair of buds with 12 store bought keys, at least not for three days. I also heard that a Valve employee posted on SPUF that fiddling with your computer clock to make your keys tradable will result in Vac Bans.

I wish the person who crafted the #1 Team Captain did it with untradeable medal to taunt everyone.
And then if it did get sold they would always know who had it first.
