Sure, here's a reason that I believe has been said before in this thread.
You are trying to buy some of the most expensive items in the game while what you are selling is pretty worthless. You only really have a shot at some of those items if you can get a decent amount of stuff for that pin(which is very difficult to sell) and if you're willing to part with some of your more valuable items, like the luchador and lumbricus.

On an unrelated note, I'mm still selling essential accessories for 4 ref, or any 3 hats, feel free to add me.
