The trader 'gave' the buds to the middleman, and I was supposed to pay the trader then the middleman would give me the buds. Little did I know that the middleman didn't have TF2, and was using a steam glitch as a ploy to make me believe he was in game when he wasn't. Overall my gullibility caused this.
