Not sure if anyone's noticed yet, but the background of the character info pages are where they took place. Like the spy's, in the background, you see the intelligence room. Or the scout's, his took place in the middle of that map shown.

I have one friend who mostly sticks to hardcore games, and I remember having a few rows with her about Call of Duty. She usually plays the game for SP, but never buys them, and always disses on the campaign and the multiplayer portion. I have respect for her opinions and etc., but it's sad because I generally tend to buy the CoD games and praise them, so that means I have a raging hard-on for CoD and I've never experienced a "true game," like playing Vampire the Masquerade or STALKER is going to change my perspective on CoD (spoilers: it won't).

It might not be a map. For example, I don't think that hill the Engineer was on takes place in any map.
Edit: On closer inspection the Engie might have been on Hydro.
