I love how everyones whining about the demo items and not snipers.
Engineer, ok thanks.
Robot Ranger engineer, calling it now.
The Shahansha is a light version of the Equalizer or did I miss something?
If you use the set, the downside is that you don't have grenade & sticky launchers. I don't think the set is overpowered in any way.
Yeah just realized that. Except in degroot keep
..Wait what? This is supposed to be the largest update ever right? Something must be big tomorrow, as only items were today.
I love how everyones whining about the demo items and not snipers.
Because sniper got a new and balanced rifle, and a good melee weapon for medieval mode.
Demoman got more sword and shields...
Tomorrow: Soldier trash set and Raid Mode
Thursday: Raid Mode, Medic weapons, and Meet the Medic
?
Engineer set, definately
I love how everyones whining about the demo items and not snipers.
Maybe because there's nothing wrong with them?
The Shahansha is a light version of the Equalizer or did I miss something?
It just doesn't damage scale to the same effect as the equalizer.
Engineer set, definately
He just got tons of new stuff...
Quit jumping on the bandwagon.
He's not any more "OP" than he would have been with his explosive weapons. Now instead of winbombing enemies into the ground, he has to take them on One-By-One, at melee range, and you're complaining about him being too powerful?
Jesus..
Quite a few of the maps have small corridors and such, not really a problem for one-on-one combat. But, regardless, he's not anywhere near OP.
Also, I do like the Demo weapons, I just wished there was a new grenade launcher/sticky launcher here and their besides just straight upgrades leaving the past updates void (mostly).
Although, considering SPUF will complain about Demo being "OP" with these new weapons, I'm sure we'll find the new weapons with some added disadvantages.
Hopefully the Demoman uses his sword with one hand.
I think it'll look ridiculous using the eyelander anims.
Firefox users can't enter to the Day 2 of the update, use Internet Explorer to see it.
Firefox users can't enter to the Day 2 of the update, use Internet Explorer to see it.
Or use chrome.
Works fine for my Firefox.
Firefox users can't enter to the Day 2 of the update, use Internet Explorer to see it.
I can read it just fine
Or chrome.
I see it fine.
So, lemme sort this out:
The Splendid Screen (Shield)
+25% Fire Damage Resistance
+20% Explosive Damage Resistance
+70% Increase in Impact Damage
Can deal impact damage at any range
Loss of Sticky Launcher
The Persian Persuasion (Sword)
100% Increase in Charge ability recharge rate
All ammo becomes health
Ali Baba's Wee Booties (Shoes, implied Grenade Launcher replacement)
+25 Max Health
+100% Increase in Turning Control while charging
Loss of Grenade Launcher (implied)
I think these are what the stats should look like.
Ammo becoming health should be at worst a "neutral" stat; certainly not a red one.
I mean, think about the last time you had to legitimately worry about your ammo reserve in TF2. Then imagine your health reserve now functioning in exactly the same way.
Oh god, the Demoknight's gonna fuck shit up now. Pyros gonna prepare, their degreasers ain't gonna do shit if you don't see me coming.
Scrapyard Wednesday.
Something to do with that.
Featuring these two packs:
The junkyard soldier pack.
Tesla Engineer.
I can see using the demos new sword with vanilla GL as SL will be useful and effective despite not being able to pick up ammo. I assume it will put out fire as well.

Uh.
Yes we can.
Firefox users can't enter to the Day 2 of the update, use Internet Explorer to see it.
You're talkin out your ass.

Demomen really run out of ammo quickly, especially with the grenade launcher. Picking up other's weapons gives you the illusion there's ammo infinitum, but if you take that away, you're fucked.

im in FF and see it just fine
The thought of Demoman drinking his own eye socket fluids simultaneously disgusts and arouses me.
Lap it up. Oh yes.

I have no problem with Demomen as long as they're not crapping Stickies all over the place. The majority of TF2 players think he's too good.
All i want is those shoes.
Forgot where I saw it, but I saw that this may be the scout set.

I can imagine the icecream temporarily outlining enemies and traps, like L4D does with survivors.
I can't wait to use the new demo weapon set. It looks fun. One eyed swearing cactus. That's what got me.
when they're running low on ammo, they'll have no way of being able to replenish their ammo stashes without visiting a health cabinet (which is what I'm guessing) So, it's a downside to me.
oh man
i didn't think of that
it's so... it's so genius
