I still like The Sandman over all the scout weapons so far.

Spam stickies with increased health?
And equip the Ullapool Caber, survive some kamikaze hits more often
Those Scout weapons actually sound AWESOME
Indeed, they're interesting.
The Soda Popper seems to be a FaN with a running-powered Crit-a-Cola attached, sans the taking of minicrits. Kind of renders the original Crit-a-Cola obsolete, since if you run enough you'll get your charge. Still, it seems to have dropped the knockback and extra pellets in favour of better reload.
I dunno about the Winger though, it feels like they've taken away a bit too much ammo. 6 woulda been a reasonable ammo count, but why 5? Still, the increased damage is cool, bit more of a weapon for popping off quick bursts instead of the usual volleys.
The Atomizer draws a bit of concern as well. Triple jump is awesome, but the slower swinging and lowered damage make this very weak as a melee weapon. And on top of that, I am concerned where it says "Third jump deals 10 damage". It sounds like a downside, yet it's written in blue, signifying an UPSIDE. What could it mean? Does the triple jump damage the Scout, or does it cause a tiny nuclear explosion to fuel the triple jump that damages enemies as well?
That'd actually be awesome, a jump that caused an explosion, kinda like explosion jumping, and it'd fit the reveal screen with the nuclear explosion behind the Scout. Perhaps that's the set bonus for this set, if these sets have bonuses this time.

Honestly this is how the FaN should have been from the beginning. I'm just not sure about the Hype.
I really hope these items aren't stupid expensive if they give them some craft recipes. I'd love that new Spy revolver and the general Heavy stuff without having to give an arm and a leg.
Also god that Demo turban, so sexy.
the scout items (apart from the pistol) seem really overpowered to me
the scattergun renders the FaN useless, and the bat is a clear upgrade unless those negative stats apply to all damage done

I'm so getting that new Scout bat.

God damn Winner
the atomizer is an abortion of nature that should have never been
i rest my case
New scout bat? What are you guys on, I just woke up and there is only Day 1 and 2 here
Also, shouldn't the "all ammo collected becomes healt" stat be a downside and not an upside?

Ah, I see.
I found that bonk here strange. I hovered over it...
*facepalm smilie*
So basicly the Soda Popper is a FaN that reloads faster but doesn't have random crits nor knockback?
Oh god, that + 100% hype + mad milk = never dying scout
Click the bonk can on day 2, near the shields.
EDIT: Late.

Thanks anyway.
Uh, so far there are 5 class packs.
Do you think they will implement 9 or just 6-7?
Thanks anyway.

if they leave 2 classes out that's not really fair now is it
even moreso on engineer
Just saw the scout update. That isn't part of Day 2, right?
I saw somebody say something about a bonk can to click on while watching a youtube video, I was unsure so I went and clicked on it and sure enough, it was real! The items look pretty rad, and I'll definetly be using them.

What I meant was, I saw a comment on a youtube video that said to click on the soda can. Then I did and my mind was blown.
I'd love to try them, too. Shame i've got a Baker Boy named "Ye Olde Vanilla Scout" :sigh:
Wouldn't equipping that hat remove the "vanilla" from the Scout? Technically, a vanilla class is a class with all of their unlock slots either empty or set to default weapons.

This is not FaN, it shoots as much pellets as Scattergun, and have same damage.
Thanks anyway.

Also, valve said this would be their biggest update yet. I would not be surprised if they updated all 9 classes.

Oh right, forgot that FaN had more pellets.
Does the pistol seem interesting to you guys?
To me it feels like a "meh" weapon
