Mainly play demo, but occasionally play scout, and even less occasionally play Gunslinger engi.

I find myself playing as the scout or soldier, maybe the pyro
Heavy. With the running gloves of urgency he owns arena maps. Especially when paired with a medic, they can't keep up with his agility.
Scout for me. I love exploiting the powerful scattergun, and I'm an old-school fan of fast, tense gameplay.
Pyro. Airblasting is probably the most fun I have in this game, and it's just so satisfying to kill someone with the same weapon they tried to kill you with.
Mostly Medic, but I occasionally switch to Pyro or Spy.
I'm a spy. Pure and simple.
Even got my description for the fancy fedora in the game.
Demoman, because he's the funniest class. The shit he says while swinging a bottle is hilarious.

People who main Spy always seem to alt Medic an vice versa.
It's weird.
It all depends on the other classes available. I usually stray towards the class no one is playing. However, sometimes I swap to Heavy or Medic just because of how fun they are.
Can't choose.
Most of the time I look for the class that doesn't have any people playing it and do that.

My main classes are Scout (w/ fish), Pyro (Degreaser + Axtinguisher), Heavy (default loadout), and Sniper (with the Tribalman's Shiv).
Playing battle Sniper can be fun, running madly into enemy territory with the SMG shooting everything of the other team's color that moves (and then running out of ammo and dying, most of the time). :razz:
I only rarely play Soldier, Engineer (unless I'm on an unserious server), or Medic.
Pretty much anything but demo and sniper cause those are bitch classes
