Someone needs to make some Misc. items to submit to Valve. I've got a few idea: Sheriff's Star (for Engineer): Level 5 Star Basically, a star on the Engineer's chest similar to what Sheriffs of the 19the Century would wear. Something like this, but maybe gold: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/5079241/2/istockphoto_5079241-sheriff-star.jpg Borscht Belt (for Heavy): Level 10 Champion's Belt This more or less somes it up: http://steamgames.com/tf2/heavy/images/AchievementIcons/tf_heavy_kill_heavies_gloves.png Maybe add some details to it. Boutonnière (for Spy) Level 5 Ornamental Flower http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/3f/Boutonniere.jpg/180px-Boutonniere.jpg Kilt (for Demo) Level 5 Kilt Simply a plaid kilt for the Black Scottish Cyclops
Heavy already has that exact belt though.
Two words, titanium spork.
Heretic. The Spork is inferior. The Foon is something to be feared.
Heavy already has that exact belt though.
I've only seen it as an achievement.
I may try the Engi star and the Spy flower later.
Please do. I'd love to see these in-game if they ever made it into TF2 officially.
Why not make it a Swiss Army Spork? :buddy:
Feeling a bit patriotic: Based on 17th century Polish Cavalry Also I figured out how to use alpha maps. :D
Imagine thousands of these in one big battle formation charging down the hill on enemy troops. I looked and found some information to it on wikipedia
Polish Hussars were also famous for the huge 'wings' worn on their backs or attached to the saddles of their horses. The wings were made of a wooden frame and, most commonly, eagle feathers, although ostrich feathers were also worn.

There are several theories to explain their meaning. According to some they were designed to foil attacks by Tatar lassos; another theory has it that the vibrating of feathers attached to the wings during the charge made a strange sound that frightened enemy horses. In 1970s those theories were however abolished. When a film adaptation was made of The Deluge, a Polish historical novel, it revealed that the wings attached to the riders' back almost threw them out of their saddles when their horses went faster than a trot (when attached to the saddle they slowed down the horse greatly). Most probably the wings were used only for parades and other special occasions, but probably never in battle. There is another possibility, however, that the wings were worn to make their own horses deaf to the wooden noise makers used by the Ottoman and the Crimean Tatars.
How awesome is that?
How awesome is that?
Plus it looks like he has wings so when he rocket jumps it looks like he's flying. Clever.
