So may I ask:

The two colored cans, should those stay colored or be metallic like the first one?
Obviously you're not a Packers fan. (I'm not either, but I just know these things.)

I think the picture's backwards. I think his jersey is Breno Giacomini. (68) Tackle for the Packers.
I don't think it needs team colours

I am in full support of the colors remaining separate since it feels like a mismatch of colors also assists in the concept of it being a weapon made from scraps.
Yes, that's true, but I think if there were to be any team colors the difference between the them should be very subtle.
At the moment, it gives off a "warm" vibe, which is perfect for RED.
With an EXTREMELY slight hue adjustment it can give off a "cool" vibe, fitting BLU.
I don't think it needs team colors, since solly will make the difference.
I personally think the makeshift rocket launcher could do well with the valve and can teamcolored. Some of you may argue that random colors is one of the things that make it makeshift, to this I will answer: even if the soldier made it himself, it wouldn't suprise me to see him discard something because it is of the wrong color; he does after all seem to be the type who doesn't take team color lightly. I would of course not be horribly disappointed if you decided you didn't want it team colored though :3:
I think the little valve should be team-colored, would be a cute little detail. :buddy:

The only part that should be teamcoloured.

Agreed.
Anyway, if this happens I feel something coming.
I haven't seen white funnel, yet many red, orange and blue ones so the funnel colour looks bit odd in my eye as well.

While I understand the look you're going for, that wooden grip at the front is really bothering me; I hate to say it because everything else looks fantastic, but it just seems so out of place - and not in the scrappy home made sort of style you're going for. I think something as simple as a different texture, perhaps more scrappy looking, could make all the difference. A less perfect cylinder, a few chips out of the grip and a bit of dirt here and there perhaps?
Again, really nice looking model besides that. If it's a little late to be making changes then feel free to disregard this post - it hardly spoils the model, just something that in my opinion could be improved.
What about a giga drill (below) that replaces the payload cart? :q:

It would spin when team pushes it.
Greetings all, I've got a question in regards to custom model's positions. I've noticed several hat models simply disappear when the player wearing them is killed and I believe this has something to do with their position in for example, the model viewer. Is there anyway to reposition them so they don't vanish?

If there was a excavation map, and you had to push the cart to destroy the wall with the drill, than that would be freakin awesome.
by the way, ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH!
Oh hey, I was just thinking of some hat ideas aaaaaannnddd....

I will add more later. Yes, the bow for the Pyro will go on his head, not around the neck.
Mind if i give the very simple marching band hat a shot?
Although I'm a bit mythed as to how I'm going to do the plume on top to be honest. Any suggestions?
Oh God, new idea. Sgt Pepper's armbands and (in case of Ringo and George, look at the cover) hats. Any four classes.
After applying more :science: to the Spyro soundtrack I managed to get it down to 200mb each :D
So I'mma uploading them now and ETA is 2 hours :C

I stand corrected, By tonight due to dodgy internets cutting out and making the download cancel.
(Urgh, no luck with this spyro ambience)

Go for it man. The "plume" is just feathers or fur so you can go crazy with that.
Raaaa I want Valve to accept some community models. Soon as that happens I'll probably get inspired but right now I'm totally bored of TF2 modding :(
I'm also bored of TF2 modding even though I'm barely able to make anything.
Does anyone know if i can model hats with CAD?

I'd say go for it, just be informed that it's been done already.
I got a towering pile of hats today, can't wait for those class based ones to come out :D

I made my plume by creating a sphere, squashing it down, cutting it in half down the middle, extruding out the open side and using a bend modifier on the rounded side.
You have to hex it to match the gibus's file name.
