I know this is a bit off topic, but The Fallout Wiki says this is a SIG Sauer model... funny, I don't remember SIG ever manufacturing a handgun that looks more like a Star Wars weapon. Can someone who knows a bit about Fallout or possibly enough about SIG confirm whether or not this is actually a SIG handgun?
As per the model, not really much I can comment on except the smoothing is awful. If it's a work in progress, cool beans, but you got a lot to do. You got close though, very close in fact. The one thing I can comment on besides smoothing groups is the top of the gun. You have the bottom of it beveled out with a pretty big fillet. This gives it a rounded look, when judging by the pictures on the Wiki of the same weapon it's supposed to have more of a flat edge, like an upside down U shape, but I'm not sure. I love me some Fallout, but I haven't played New Vegas and I barely remember F1 and 2.
It's a work in progress, yes. I smoothed it really quickly so it would look good, but the model on my computer isn't smoothed. Also thanks for pointing out the beveled underside, I'll fix it tommorrow

Better than anything i do,but how are you gonna make the clip so it's functional unless you are making the base on the original pistol :v:

Glock produced the Plasma Defender in NV and I doubt they have produced such a weapon yet.
The gun is based off the one used in Blade Runner FYI.

I've learnt two things from this winger sound test video.
1) It takes forever to upload a 30 second video
2) [U]NEVER[/U] test ambience music & weapon sounds at the same time.
Rate agree for submit the winger pistol sound, Disagree for not to & work on it more

Basically on the TF2Maps.net chatroom, they were discussing treythepunkid's latest map... and how much in their opinion it sucks. "Everything not valve-made looks out of place". "Wouldn't want to have those banners in the game" and so on.
Now, you see, I'm fine with feedback. Perfectly happy with feedback if they let the creator know. However, when he joined the chat and asked if there was any feedback, two of the people discussing it said nothing. Not a case of AFK, as merely a minute before he came in they were talking.

Well, you've got the general body shape down, just need to get the details done.
First up, there's that little ridge thingy on the back of the slide, and then you should maybe add a few vertices to make the grip more distinguishable form the body.

The music is actually better in the replay then ingame.
long story but it is quite glitchy, has large file sizes and sadly doesn't work as well as expected.
I highly doubt I'll release it, so I'll focus on the winger & Family Business sounds.

I hate how now every weapon has unique sounds right now. It just seems sloppy and they don't read well without sounds.
make sure you bug Brandon to change the 1 line needed to give the Overdose unique sounds! :D
