What could this be I wonder?
Obviously they are Northern lights eating up your models.
Reminds me of that Aurora screen-saver for windows vista.
Fuck I must have been channeling that when I made it.
CHOO CHOO MOTHERFUCKER. The light emitting better be part of the model. also some of the seams seem to be quite visible.
The light is a part of model :3 No edit on this picture. I'll try to fix seams.

Now do do I submit a paint fix to valve?
From experience, I believe you just zip them up and then upload it to both the materials and models areas. Put whatever for thumbnail. Put exactly what it is in the description.

I'd give the castro beard a shot if I knew how to do hair
I'd give the castro beard a shot if I knew how to do hair
off topic. I've been meaning to ask, who the hell is that girl in your avatar?
From experience, I believe you just zip them up and then upload it to both the materials and models areas. Put whatever for thumbnail. Put exactly what it is in the description.
Seems like too much work. Can someone please submit this for me?
I spy a baccano reference.
You sir are a winner.
I'd say it would be more in-character than these:
May I disagree on that? I consider the Soldier such a crazy nutjob that he might think that the antlers actually help him hide himself. :v:
off topic. I've been meaning to ask, who the hell is that girl in your avatar?
Click my name and click on the youtube link.
The light is a part of model :3 No edit on this picture. I'll try to fix seams.
It's quite hard to see in first person is all. Also I would have gone for something like "The Steam-Roller" name wise.
I spy a baccano reference.
The Final Fantasy font...hmmm....the train at the start of VII?
I get it now. Actually its not bad. I kinda like the idea of the engineer needing to achieve something (having his buildings destroyed) before he could use the gun. This will make it significantly weak but it does encourage action rather turtling which i like. Maybe a different, rage inducing action could trigger the transformation? I dont like the idea of building destruction again so we can all keep the frontier justice.
What if it functioned similar to an ubercharge? The meter would be built up from repairing or upgrading your team's bulidables. Once the meter was filled you could either deploy the charge at any time which would temporarily upgrade your arm to level 2 or you could continue to fill the charge meter up to some second charge which would then upgrade the arm to level 3 and maybe make the upgrade last longer.
lol should have never asked. lesson learned. :D
Why is there two Engineer cap fixes
The Final Fantasy font...hmmm....the train at the start of VII?
Not even close.

A friend suggested that there should be an upgrade meter on the HUD and that the more your buildings help the team (healing, teleporting and sentry kills) the more it gets filled up. At half full you can upgrade a level and at full meter you upgrade to 2 levels. After which, you can use the arm gun. To go back to level 1 and resume engineer duties, you just need to right click. I think thats a better mechanism

My model is pretty crappy compared to other models here :<

(I only request this as I got a softcap the other day :v:)
Might as well throw this out here. Facial hair idea I pitched to Ronin a while back:

I called it Mann Co's Beard of Mannliness and it would have different facial hair styles.

Well, that way it would probably charge faster...though I'm not sure that would be a good thing balance wise. The only problem with having an indefinitely upgraded arm is that most players would then go battle engi and leave their buildings to get destroyed. With the temporary upgrades, the charge will more likely be used as a last resort to protect the point or your buildings against the attacking teams, which I see as more balanced and more matching to the class.
