I didn't like the whole potato ARG for Portal 2. All it did was release the game a few hours earlier than the set release date, but Valve's goal was to see if we could make it come 2-3 days before the set date. They clearly failed, which should indicate not to do something like that again.

You had to play a bunch of indie games in some other pack, not the Complete Valve Pack. It was vaguely like the promotions being constantly injected into Team Fortress 2.
