So, ubercharge is a machine connected to Heavy's brand new big man heart, activated by Medigun lazors?
kinda cool
Meet the Medic can be summed up in three words.
"Kill me."
"Archimedes?"
You guys whine about anything. Meet the Medic was amazing :colbert:
What an amazing response, I especially like the way you affirmed your opinions with a developed and concise argument. You should be a politician.

Where exactly does the Soldier get his Ribs from?
too bad archimedes doesnt still fly out of scouts
or that engineer doesnt have a burn on his collar
It was great, but this broke the pattern of the videos building up in complexity. It was almost disappointing compared to Meet the Spy, which had characterizations, comic timing, a serious storyline, and mind-blowing fight choreography. Meet the Medic was more of a short, snippy, flashy window into the TF2 universe.
The comedy is more slapstick-oriented and doesn't seem as subtle or clever as the earlier releases. This is possibly because Valve wanted Meet the Medic to appeal to a wider audience, specifically the casual crowd that might be drawn in by the free-to-play announcements. While the shorts have all been made with the purpose of introducing the characters, there's no reason they can't also be standalone short films with well-known and characterized actors. Meet the Sniper and Meet the Spy did this perfectly.
There have been plenty of user-made machinimas and and animated shorts that greatly surpass Meet the Medic, and I was really hoping for a larger-scale animated short film starring the Medic. But Meet the Pyro still remains and it's likely that Valve will end the series of videos with a bigger production. They have a dangerous card they can play, though: the pyro's identity, which is neither relevant nor interesting to fans anymore.
I would give Meet the Medic a 10/10, but after the bar was raised by Meet the Spy, I think it instead deserves 10/11.
Every Meet the seems to have it's own theme
Heavy was just Simple interview video
Scouts was a showoff video
Engineer was a country camp story video
Demo's was a drunken scottish ramblings video
Sniper was a sort of "Hire a hitman" type video
Spy was like a super serious noir esque video
Medic was insane with twisted humor type video
They all have their own style, They shouldn't all be super serious after spy.
too bad archimedes doesnt still fly out of scouts
Oh god, it all makes sense now. :aaaaa:

To me Heavy, Scout, Engineer, Demo and Sniper all seemed to fit the same category. Interviewing the class about what he does.
Best Meet the video yet.

I agree. Meet The Medic fits his personality perfectly. Meet The Spy was serious, dark.. Whereas MtM was Zany, Unpredictably and pretty much Batshit Insane.
I LOVED EET
Also, you know how in the game a week ago when Scouts exploded, doves would randomly appear?

ARCHIMEDES!

I had never heard of this prior to earlier today when I was playing on cp_dustbowl and saw one standing on the rocks where Heavy stands in Meet the Heavy. I was like " wtf is this dove doing here? " and shot it and it blew up in my face.
True story Qwerty. I know I came across as randumb

I was talking to my friend about this roughyl half an hour ago. :<
Wait, I don't get it.
If the medigun was able to heal up Heavy's body perfectly...
...Then why didn't it heal the Demoman's missing eye?
-snip, lies-
Probably since demoman was born without an eye, so there are no nerves that can grow back into a functioning eyeball.
i thought he lost it in an accident when he tried to blow up the loch ness monster that also killed his parents

If you look, the Demoman's eyepatch is outside of the bandages on his head. They're obviously playing it for laughs. Same with the tooth, a sparkling tooth popping in as the Scout grins at the camera is funny.
"Doktor, are you sure this will work?"
"Heh heh...I haz no idea!"

It was pretty good, at the Meet the... Videos are.
I dunno, maybe not the best but maybe it will grow on me.
"OH MAN you will NOT believe.. how much this hurts."
"mghhrlgh"
"ARCHIMEDES?!?!?"
That made me genuinely laugh :v:
The funniest part is how Scout is smiling the whole time. Really helps the delivery of that line.
Did anyone else notice the Scout is holding the Winger in the opening scene?
I loved the part with the broken rib.
You know how it's like a tradition for at least one Blu Soldier to be killed in a Meet The video?
Yeah I don't think any Blu Soldier's were killed in this one.

So many canon clones with no explanation.
