You know how it's like a tradition for at least one Blu Soldier to be killed in a Meet The video?
Yeah I don't think any Blu Soldier's were killed in this one.
Wasn't it the BLU Heavy?
Hmmm, I wonder if VALVe will ever release the OST for MtM.
Or was it already released? I hope i'm not late :S
Just noticed the Heart Next to the Maga baboon's is the Loch Ness Monster's
Also I almost cried at the pure awesome of this, but I was focusing on the animations and the transitions more.
Every Meet the seems to have it's own theme
Heavy was just Simple interview video
Scouts was a showoff video
Engineer was a country camp story video
Demo's was a drunken scottish ramblings video
Sniper was a sort of "Hire a hitman" type video
Spy was like a super serious noir esque video
Medic was insane with twisted humor type video
They all have their own style, They shouldn't all be super serious after spy.
Did you seriously forget about Meet the Sandvich?
Well at least the spy hasn't lost his smoking appetite in the afterlife.
And the demoman still clips :O
HNNNGGGG, good to see Meet the Medic finally released. It was pretty good and funny (I loved the "regenerating Scout" moment :v:), a close competitor to Meet the Sniper, my favourite MtT video at this moment.
Well, let's get working then, experimenting with this new video is gonna be real fun
PS: I see Pyro is trying to burn a Saxton Hale comic on the end of the video. If it's an intentional reference to self-entitled flamers pissed off at hats I have to say it was very clever

Don't you mean Loch Ness Hamster?
Would anyone post any wallpapers if they have any? My internet is too slow to download meet the medic and i can't make wallpapers. Any help would be appreciated.
Awesome. Didn't suspect the invention of the Ubercharge to be the MtM theme.
And I love how they all are waiting for the doctor in their individual style in the end. Love the soldier.
I love how Medic tells Archimedes that ribs don't really grow back. He is worried about his little friend, and his medical knowledge. :3:
Wait, I don't get it.
If the medigun was able to heal up Heavy's body perfectly...
...Then why didn't it heal the Demoman's missing eye?
Because its not really missing demoman is just a lying fuck.
I just want more Medic lines - specifically domination and assist-domination lines.
nope lol
The wait was so worth it.

I also like how he tells the bird that it's filthy inside the Heavy, instead of worrying about the what would happen to the heavy.
I'm loving the new Medic kit! :v:
Meet the Sandvich is seen through the Blu Spy's head in the fridge
[editline]24th June 2011[/editline]
Genius
I got down here, ready to say something witty and forthcoming.
I fucking forgot what I was going to say while scrolling down the page.
Doves in the brain man.
[editline]24th June 2011[/editline]
Ohwait failure, I remembered after typing that.
My favorite part was the Spy Head.
Spy Head: Kill me.
Medic: Later.
The Medic WOULD have a living disembodied Spy Head in his fridge.
I guess we just found out how Arena works.
A Decapitated Blue Spy in the fridge would explain what happens after Meet The Spy.
Medic gathers the pieces of his head an reassembles it and keeps it in his fridge

also explains the rather artistic direction of camera work in meet the sandwich
rate informative if you think archimedes or "kill me" is going to become a meme.
How can I access the .gcf?
[editline]24th June 2011[/editline]
I'm using .gcfscape but that won't work/.
OH MY GOD I JUST REALISED SOMETHING.
I SUDDENLY REALISED THAT MEET THE SANDVICH IS SEEN FROM SPY'S POINT OF VIEW.
Rate late or whatever, but my mind = blown.

look at the x-ray screens at 0:26.
you can see the small atomic bomb that is seen in the bottom-left of the title card. that's what medic was operating on to get out.
double-mindblows up in here.

oh god, at 0:34 the tray that heavy knocks over has a red power drill on it ffffffff
SO MANY EDITS
It was great, but this broke the pattern of the videos building up in complexity. It was almost disappointing compared to Meet the Spy, which had characterizations, comic timing, a serious storyline, and mind-blowing fight choreography. Meet the Medic was more of a short, snippy, flashy window into the TF2 universe.
The comedy is more slapstick-oriented and doesn't seem as subtle or clever as the earlier releases. This is possibly because Valve wanted Meet the Medic to appeal to a wider audience, specifically the casual crowd that might be drawn in by the free-to-play announcements. While the shorts have all been made with the purpose of introducing the characters, there's no reason they can't also be standalone short films with well-known and characterized actors. Meet the Sniper and Meet the Spy did this perfectly.
There have been plenty of user-made machinimas and and animated shorts that greatly surpass Meet the Medic, and I was really hoping for a larger-scale animated short film starring the Medic. But Meet the Pyro still remains and it's likely that Valve will end the series of videos with a bigger production. They have a dangerous card they can play, though: the pyro's identity, which is neither relevant nor interesting to fans anymore.
I would give Meet the Medic a 10/10, but after the bar was raised by Meet the Spy, I think it instead deserves 10/11.
I think it's perfectly relevant and very interesting. :colbert:

aha, adding to the list of waiting-room easter eggs, spy is looking at a picture of scout's mother.
