For all you guys saying the Meet The Sandvich is from the spy's perspective, in the video, when the heavy opens the fridge, there is a wooden floor. And as you can see, Meet The Medic has a tile floor
I guess they moved the fridge but damn why isn't that sandvitch rot by now.
By the way, I remember hearing somewhere that Meet the Pyro was in fact done already, and Valve will release it an undisclosed time after Meet the Medic.
May not be true, but I felt it was worth knowing.
It was all I wanted and more. I loved it.
Will valve release the soundtrack to that? I hope so.
I emailed robin asking about the music.
I've just seen Meet The Medic for the 5th time now.
It's just so amazing, it's tied with Meet The Spy as my favourite TF2 video.
The thing I really like about meet the medic is that compared to the eariler ones and even meet the spy theres so much more going on in it, in terms of locations, characters, props etc...
Lets hope meet the pyro pushes this further.
I'm just gonna throw this out there.
Meet the Medic was good. But was it really 2 YEARS waiting good?
No, no I dont think it was.

Meet the Pyro will be kinda New School of filming as it will be, literally, Pyro's view on zis world. By his ey... mask sockets.
red team must have an entire supply of mega baboons for so many invulns.
:O
Probably late, but I love how the demoman's eyepatch is outside of the cast :v:
Oh wow. Meet the Medic was...I'm actually speechless. Valve outdid themselves there, and my god the time they spent working on an idea for it paid off. I also loved the line just before he uses the Ubercharge :v:

This added SO much personality to the medic.
It also helps that these are the first new lines we've heard the medic say in almost 4 years
Someone email robin about the medic getting new domination/general dialogue lines. Surely they must've recorded some.
Y'know, up until I watched that short, I never knew what the sound of progress was. And now I know it sounds like a heart exploding. Hearts are always broken when accidents happen, but they can also burst with joy when things go right. If the former happens, reach into the fridge and grab a bigger heart, right next to the living head of an enemy infiltrator.
my new avatar. y/n?
my new avatar. y/n?
If you get that transparent, yup.
i love that after he tells archimedes that ribs don't grow back, if you look at his ribs while he's healing his chest, you can see the ribs not healing :v:
Pity about that, the loss of a rib is enough to take a few HP off the max if you think about it. Then again, maybe during the next operation Medic'll pop in an artificial rib or two, made out of strongest RED steel.
What I dislike the most about the lack of new Medic lines is that this kinda leaves the Medic having split personalities between the game and "Meet the Medic."
In the game, I've always seen him as cold, cruel, and pretty much absolutely evil. He's very serious and, well, goes well with the theme of German Perscision.
But in Meet the Medic, he's almost totally different: He's laughing and telling stories and is absolutely mad, but he loves it. I really like this Medic: having him be less cold and more happily nuts makes him a far more likable character than the one in-game.
Of course, Valve doesn't give him any new lines to reflect this new personality. So I'm stuck with this cold and unlikable (in comparison) Medic in the game.
*Sigh* God what a great video. And yet, god what a lazy company.
I just noticed, Red Team represents the "Veterans" of TF2, (People who bought before F2P) and Blu represents the F2P in that video. :v:
Veterans were overrun badly by the sheer number of Free players.
So, anyone else get a very...well Doctor vibe from the new Medic?
I mean THE Doctor. From Doctor Who.
Both are very quick witted and love to joke. Both of them can be very cold and calculated, and both of them rush headlong into danger, with seemingly no plan other than "It might work"
Yeah sure there are BIG differences, but the core is still there.

That can't be it though. The BLU were kicking RED's ass in the beginning.

And at least one of the soldiers has the Proof of Purchase.
There are 2 reasons why I can't wait for meet the pyro.
1. We'll finally find out if the pyro is a man, a women (or a robot). :ohdear: .
2. Source filmmaker will be released after meet the pyro (Want proof? http://lambdageneration.com/posts/political-gamer-goes-to-valve-finds-out-about-meet-the-medic-source-film-makers-public-release-and-a-steam-video-recorder/)

I hope you realize that Valve will never reveal the Pyro's gender.
ill snip this if this isn't a general question
Im going to remake the scene where the medic deployed his charge and then the heavy starts shooting at soldiers. instead i want it to be someone else or something else. Got any options or scenes from movies, tv, cartoons, etc?
I have the theory that the spy head in the refrigator came from Meet the Demoman
