Robin and Gabe chat about F2P
Gabe: Robin! Are you sure this will work?
Robin: Haha! I have no Idea!
I wonder if gabe has a ubered heart.
this thread has provided me with a new avatar.
I just can't stop watching it. I love Valve's humour and creativity. The idea how uber works was great.
Heavy english skills still haven't improved though: ''What was noise?"
Four minutes was enough to remind me why I like this game so much and why I have played it over 1k hrs.
Robin: Now I believe that our game is good enough to become free to play...
*Pow*
Gabe: What was noise?
Robin: The sound of Hats
(Community fanbase aproaches)
Gabe: Are you sure this will work Robin?
Robin : Hahahaha, I have no idea!
Comunity: Oh man, you would not believe how much... This hurts
Robin: Hats!?

It also reminded me how stupid the heavy was. His brain is so tiny and underused it doesn't need a heart to function.

I wouldn't say that, we can assume it is the medibeam keeping him alive.
Plus IIRC in the Russian version of 'meet the heavy' he was quite intelligent, plus poker night says that he even has a degree in Russian literature.
So it could just be he's bad at English, which is what I've always though.

Same thing with Engie, multiple degrees, twang in EVERY statement.

This Meet the Medic video is set in the past, as the quick fix is his first "experimental" medigun, which shorted out after the first invulnerability. Hench it heal at 300% instead of Ubering the patient.
Medic somehow ubers with the Quick-Fix, yet the weapon the heavy is holding does not.
Also, how would Medic replace his own damn heart to have the uber affect him too?
Concentrate the medibeam on himself, grab a bonesaw and hope for the best?

Hes still can't recognise the sound of his own heart exploding, and the medic told him that he shouldn't be awake for the operation.

It says that the Quick Fix uber function got screwed after the first ubercharge it did.

Well if you were laying down flat and you hear that noise, would you realise it was your own heart exploding?
Plus he couldn't exactly do much about being awake during the operation.
Holy shit, guys! Did you see that weird gun the Pyro is using on Meet the Sniper?
I heard they changed the artstyle to some kind of cartoony shit.

Well yeah the Medic was just talking about Heavy's heart and how it might not withstand the voltage.
but I shouldn't really be arguing about this anymore since you already made your point that the Heavy isn't so dumb.
It says that the Quick Fix uber function got screwed after the first ubercharge it did.
I was thinking more the weapon not being ubered, but I did not know this.

Where?
Right here.

Just read the description of the set.

All the Meet the Team videos were set in the past.

He means it was set before TF2 was set.
All the Meet the Team videos were set in the past.
From what I've seen, meet the medic is the earliest in the timeline of events, the rest probably take place out of battle (except for the battle scenes, obviously)
He means it was set before TF2 was set.
No that's what I mean. ALL Meet the Team videos were set prior to the modern storyline of TF2. In "Meet the Director", Ms. Pauling says that the director has interviewed ALL of RED team, including Medic. Considering that we never actually see an Uber charge in any of the other Meet the Team videos, there's no reason why this one would be one of the earlier ones.

But we see the medic using his newer medigun in meet the demo.
No we don't, same medigun. It doesn't have the 2 tubes on the back.
I wonder how Dennis Bateman felt about being called just to say "kill me"
Another timing problem- One of the Soldiers in Meet the Medic is using the direct hit, another one uses the equalizer. Those didn't exist until the WAR update.

That's what i'm saying. the quick-fix is a prototype that burned out after it's first use, the Medigun came along later.
But we see the medic using his newer medigun in meet the demo.
O_O oh... Okay... Now I see... Alrigty Medic was first than Demoman was last (gotta give him some time to invent the Medigun).

Maybe they were also recording dialogue for Meet the Pyro at the time.
