I like the Max head, it looks neato and isn't NEARLY as style-breaking as people seem to insist.
...But there's other hats I'd much rather be wearing right now!
I'd get it simply because it seems to upset everybody, and my inner troll loves shit like that.
I'd get the bitch, paint it lime or pink, and give it a horribly stupid name like "LoLoLoL u MaD????", change my name to XxXxXxXxXC4p-A-c0p_420_eRrYdAy_1337pWnErKiLlEr666nInJaShAdOw696969xXxXxXxXxX or something like that, and go play on srs servers. Oh god the mad, it'd be everywhere.

You know what I don't understand?
The hat sam wears would have fit PERFECTLY into TF2. It's like, a 1920's detective hat. Why didn't they use that? They had to fucking cut max's head in half and use THAT as a hat.
It just doesn't make sense. Also I love the 2 guns.

They did try (The texture is in the game files) but either had no time or couldn't quite fit the tiny hat over the TF2 dudes' gigantic noggins.

It was going to, but they had difficulty having it fit as an all class hat.
I don't really like it. I wonder why it's so valuable..

It was a good idea, a hat from Sam and Max, but poorly executed. They could've thrown in Sam's Noire-styled Fedora or something, instead, they make a replica of a character's head that half of the users don't recognize because they just bought the game the moment they say "complimentary tf2 item", and are too busy haggling with other people anyway.
So yeah, it's shit.
I like the hat because I like max, he's awesome.
It's not the best hat but I would like to have one.
