What's wrong with Valve caring about competitive players? They probably just want to make the game fun for both sides of the community, which is a noble goal. As long as they don't ruin the game for those on public servers, everything should be alright.
I bet Valve employees must get really bored of interviewers asking "LOL EPISODE 3" in every interview they do.
I hope Valve makes a TF2: Competitive version
Where everything is nerfed, every weapon makes 1 damage per minute and no unlockables.

Make it this, Engineers only, shotgun only, 2fort, you can only attack the other engineers on the sniper decks from your sniper deck, no sentries and no attacking from behind because it ovahpowed

But I love using natascha so much, I hope to god they don't nerf it. It's perfect as it is now, it requires skill to actually aim and hit your targets for an extended amount of time because of the narrowed fire cone. That, and it is the best scout-counter in existance.

Actually I have a better idea for the Sandvich cooldown
5 second cooldown after eating
10-15 second cooldown after throwing
Sandvich picnics would be back, but would also prevent spamming on serious servers
Either that, or a server Cvar to disable the cooldown.

To be honest, as much as I anticipate EP3, I'd rather have them leak no information other than "we haven't forgotten about it and we're working hard on it, promise!". They said they REALLY wanted to scare people in this episode, so I want as many surprises waiting for me as possible.

Absolutely agreed. Get in sight of Natascha wielding heavy for a split second and HNNNNNNNNNNNG you can't move an inch.
I'm fine with the normal minigun, it's powerful but it can be outwit with some caution. Same does not apply for Natascha.
I want to hear more about the new Source Recorder.
Say, here's a mandatory idea: give the game a Competitive Mode as well as the Public Mode. That way the competitives and the pubbers get their own gameplay ways, with the Competitive Tweaks going into the Competitive Mode and not ruining the fun of the pubbers by making them general tweaks.

In that case they would probably have to change some things, because if it has the same animation and all, it would be difficult for other people to know wheither he used it or not, it could be confusing.
As for the Natascha, a lot of people find it annoying and won't use it because it's like the FaN: When other people use it, it feels overpowered, but you can't use it at all.
I personally do well with the Natascha, but I don't use it because I don't want people to hate me for a weapon.
I don't really feel Heavy needs a Scout counter, because he has so little health he usually isn't a problem when using the Minigun anyway.

they basically already do this, it's not like if comp bans a weapon it's disallowed in all TF2 servers
and the general changes from the comp beta and such hasn't made the game any worse

Or you can kill the Engineer and just smash the sentry. And it's only 5-6 stickies.
There is one reliable way to kill a good natascha heavy 1on1, and that's stickyspamming at him. I agree it's a bit too powerful.
