Hi I'm a competitive gamer 6v6 is perfectly balanced Natascha&Wrangler are OP nerf plz :downs:
My only beef with competitive players is that they have no regard for people who only play the game for fun, like I assume most of us here do. I accept the fact that they don't play for fun, but I resent the fact that they're trying to change the game to suit their playstyle and theirs alone.
Im a pro player that lives in my parents house and never leave it because i dont have a life and dont play the game for fun.

Robin didn't even say anything about competitive community wanted to nerf natascha, he said general community complained about it, BUT the heavy is also still "useless" in 6v6 competitive play and he wanted to change that.

A prime example: The Sandman. It was a fucking awesome weapon, something that could stop an uber. And now what is it? It can't stun über, if stunned you can run away, and scout has less Health.
Seriously, fuck you, the Sandman was my favourite weapon.

There's a grey area to comp players too. There's people who enjoy comp play but also play on pubs, and comp players usually have the right idea of what works because they've been playing for so long.

If Valve only listened to the non-comp TF2 fans, Mariokart would be on vanilla server rotations, every gun would have a tribal skin on it and Sandman would give you minicrits in duration of stun.
Valve listens to comp players because they're more experienced with the gameplay mechanics and they're usually a more mature audience. If you picked from a froup of random TF2 players, there'd be a good chance most of them would be underage and not really fit for game design.

The point is that the slowdown even at range (because it doesn't fall off at range like the FAN's knockback, for instance) is ridiculous and completely unfun to fight against.

It eats up ammo like a bitch though, so while you'll be able to kill like 6 enemies with Sasha before needing more ammo, you'll usually only kill 3 or 4 with Natasha before needing ammo.

Again, you can't beat an Heavy + Medic without teamwork (Don't tell it's different on comp servers, I don't believe you). Spy and Sniper are the classes that can beat the shit out of the Heavy (Because he's too focused on his target).

Ammo isn't a problem, there are ammo boxes all over the map, dead people's weapon provides ammo, as well as dispensers. You'll only run out of ammo if you don't get new ammo.

But ammo is even LESS of a problem, the enemy is almost as slow as you during slowdown, so it's not like their corpse is gonna be that far away.

And they're not trying to change the game to make it only comp friendly. While there have been changes to make the game more comp friendly I haven't seen anything negative that can be proven is due to comp.

I've never played any game competitively, but the original sandman was the fucking worst idea ever. Maybe it was fun for you if you play mostly scout, but it's in no way fun for the people on the other end. Completely shutting down ubers is way OP, no other weapon could or can do this. Besides it also removed one of the scout's primary and most useful abilities. FaN can replace doublejump, but you can't use it effectively in combat situations. Sandman is fine as it is right now.
