Because i usually play the class and enjoy doing so, in that people usually appreciate my work.
That and i'm sometimes forced into the role. It'd help to have ranged healy-darts when that Scout with 10hp runs away from me instead of keeping still so i can save his life.

Because i've been trying to get the F2P medics to start helping out the team, and i commonly play as a medic when helping them do this. I've also started playing medic more regularly.
