I don't play in my native res (1600x900), but I still get amazing performance.
24 (1920x1080)
I get 30FPS with most settings on medium.
:saddowns:
I get 20-30 in combat on ultra-low.
I used to be able to get that fps on dxlevel 9 but it seems the updates have decreased performance.
24" 1920x1080 is far more fun to play with.
Especially with a 60FPS average.
24" 1920x1080 with extreme graphics config at 60 FPS+
27", 1920x1080, max'd graphics.

A TV monitor thing by any chance?
I'm playing with an fps-config. I usually get 170-200 fps.
If i play with everything vanilla, i get 70.
Oh yeah, and I often connect my rig to my 42" VGA/DVI compatible TV.

60 FPS 90% of the time. (I have VSync on)
How do you guys get your hdr/bloom to look so soft and beautiful? I'm on max settings but it looks flatter than that.
Adjust in through the console using mat_bloom_scalefactor X. By default, I think it's at 1.0, but tweak it to make it more suited to your tastes.
I use 2.1 because I have an unnatural love for heaps of Bloom & HDR. You don't want to see my HDR photographs.

ITT: people who think screenszie = resolution
ITT: people who think screenszie = resolution
I thought resolution was entirely dependent on screen size.
(i.e. You can't do 1280 x 800 on a 1920 x 1080 screen)

Well, it's primary function is gaming. It was built for it. Watching movies/T.V on it is nice too.

I meant a thing like this

It has a tv tuner and all kinds of inputs. It was suspicious that you had 1920*1080 on a 27-incher, because I've got the same, which is why I asked
I have a 27inch monitor. I run everything at max with no AA, but it's at native res (2560x1440)

Of course you can do 1280 x 800 on screen that has max res of 1920x1080
40-100 depending on action going on
at 1680x1050 using an i7 620m, 4 GB DDR3 and an HD 5650M
used to use my desktop but i sold my GPU so its out of action atm (was an HD 4850, Q6600 @ 3 GHz and 4 GB DDR2)
