I do plan on trading them away, but I do things for a certain reason, once I have about 30+ unusual I'm gonna sell em and use the $$$ to pay all my debt off, atm I already have about 400$ worth of shit

On the hours question, I believe the whole hours thing only adds to the chance of them knowing whether or not what the values are, but it's always perfectly plausible for them to not, I've scammed buds from a guy with 2000+ hours.

Since im p much done with tf2 trading and ripoff trading might aswell close it with writing my boring memoirs full of scam trades and bad trades.
-boring wall of text, tl;dr below-
It all started a long time ago for me, christmas of 2010 to be exact when i discovered people actually will trade hats for weapons or other cheap items, it was especially good since everyone got a free key and could open a crate and hats were everywhere. What i would do was trade everyone in a server and usually i got some misc paints etc. 1-3 hats and every now and then a pair of earbuds, it took around 30mins or so to trade every player in the server, quite alot of my trading was done during a time before backpack scanners and such.
My first unusual i got was a Defiant spartan with ghosts which i got for 2 hats and weapons from a new player who i have a xmas crate and who opened it with his key, i must have given atleast 50 new players an xmas crate but only one unboxed an unusual, i traded my ghosts spartan for some steam games.
My 2nd and 3rd unusuals were confetti coupe and dixie, terrible hats but i got both for a few hats, dixie from a idle server and coupe from cp_yukon, neither of them were wearing them.
In a couple of weeks i had got ahold of quite a few pairs of earbuds and over 50 hats and alot of paints.
I acquired a vivid plasma soldiers pot which i traded with lots of sweets for a beams noir, not knowing about "bad classes" and whatnot.
The ghosts flipped trilby i got for a milkman set if recall correctly.
I got a logo tree for 2 all class hats which i later traded for medal 4022 + buds + bills, the medal 4022 i traded for a ghosts spartan (again, and again i traded it for some games)
I stumbled upon a player trying to swindle me out of my unusuals, but i traded him my ghosts flipped trilby + fetti coupe and hotrod (i got it for my dixie) for his hearts prancers pride + beams festivizer.
Burning noble amassment of hats i found on a heavy player on pl_badwater, i traded him and he asked for a brass beast for his unusual, which i being a gentleman had to provide him with. I later traded it for a beams topper + a max's head.
Coverop found a guy with a burning brigade helmet and told i can get it from him, so i did, he gave it away for 8 hats, each for a different class.
I later traded the helmet for a burning beak + earbuds, i sold the beak to a guy on steam named "kemosabe", i was quite lucky since there were 2 or 3 burning beaks on the market at the same time with bids for 200$, and had been for some time already.
I traded my beams noir and beams festivizer for a scorching democrown, which i long time later traded for purple e. robbin, tf logo hard counter and some promos out of compassion for the guy, he told me he liked to play demoman but the next day i saw the crown sold to some collector and i lost some but not alot of cash. I traded the robbin and hard counter for a burning trophy belt which i later traded for a logo modest (had a hard time trading it but finally got a max head out of it or something)
I found a scout player on degroot keep, his vivid plasma bonk helmet became mine for a few weapons, which i later traded for a heart det. noir.
I added alot of people with unusuals and they slowly accepted my friend requests and with some i traded their hats for some cheap steam games or tf2 weapons/hats.

i was on uhc server when i saw a newbie with beams modest, some1 was trading him and i thought i lost him, but luckly the guy closed trade and i traded with him, his request was simple a familiar fez, i offered him a grenadiers softcap and he was "oh yeh i need to compelte that set too" and thats how i got a beams modest for a normal softcap, (i later gave him a few more hats) I sold it for 510$
2)
a guy added me on steam, he seemed to be in a hurry and offered too much for my vivid hotrod (which i got free), i checked his friends list and found an unusual fella who liked to play engineer but had a burning noh-mercy, i added him and all he wanted was an unusual ten gallon and a hotrod, i got a searing ten gallon in 10 minutes and the noh mercy was mine, but the pain that came afterwards, i lucked out and traded my burning noh mercy for burning billycock, scorch plunger and 2 max heads i believe.
[highlight]tl;dr i made 2k$ from tf2 trading (1 month of serious ripoffing before unusual scanners, another month less serious and then randomly getting opportunities.)[/highlight]
God half of the players I go for a scam on are F2P. Scamming is way harder now.
Obviously not the best trade, but it's my first try from just a moment ago.

I hit a dead end, I'm not motivated enough to scam anymore.
I got like 7 buds worth, then realized that I already have everything I want.
I got my favorite hats, favorite miscs, and an awesome Service medal... why keep scamming? The only thing beyond this is unusuals, and I'd rather wear my golden Honcho than a Soldier's stash with circling peace. Good unusuals with good effects are like 30 buds, not worth it.
Am I alone on this?

Also, nice scams Omega but you seem to overpay on a lot of them. Most of my scams consist of 1 or 2 weapons. You can get more than you think with 1 or 2 weapons.

Once trading was first released I traded a CnD and a paint(purple I think) for a full max set. And then I traded those for a few vintage hats and a bills hat. Yea...I didn't know it's worth, but oh well.
