You know, as long someone is selling something, even if that thing is the most stupid item in the world someone will buy it.
A sad and simple fact.
What are you so mad about, Jesus.
You're the only one who's responding with anger. His analogy is spot-on: people have bee valuing baseball cards by investing in obtaining them. If the distributor chooses to create more (ie making them more easily attainable), the value decreases and the investment is a net loss. That's how real-life investments work.
Expensive and rare baseball cards. Why so much hatred man?
The problem is the whole mentality behind this shit. People hoard items that they wouldn't care about if they didn't have some arbitrary value attached to them. I don't necessarily want Unusuals to be more common because I don't care about them, but players wanting items to stay rare solely because they don't want to see others have nice things and so that their items stay extra special is selfish. The TF2 economy needs to die.
I think it's retarded TF2 items are worth so much, but it isn't the players' fault that some things are rare.
Hording affects attainability. It makes the horders able to decide the prices, and they're generally really greedy.
You're the only one who's responding with anger
No I haven't...
Hording affects rarity.
Yes, hoarders fuck up the economy. Like that guy that hoarded 50 max heads.
All of you guys need to shut up. Economy is bullcrap, end of story.
Hope this whole shotgun thing gets found out soon..
Hope this whole shotgun thing gets found out soon..
To be honest, I'm tired of updates with content such as weapons and hats in them. Valve needs to focus on bug fixes.
To be honest, I'm tired of updates with content such as weapons and hats in them. Valve needs to focus on bug fixes.
Or actual weapon balance. Oh god, I can hear everyone whining from here.
Or actual weapon balance. Oh god, I can hear everyone whining from here.
But if Valve removed OP weapons, how will new players score at all? That was rude, but it's kinda true.
But if Valve removed OP weapons, how will new players score at all? That was rude, but it's kinda true.
They'd go demoman
But if Valve removed OP weapons, how will new players score at all? That was rude, but it's kinda true.
It's a tad late to remove assets considering that they're paying royalties to those who created them. If anything, they'd be getting nerfs/buffs/fixes. I like fixes best, it's a more mundane and neutral word to use.
This reminds me, what was that "Level 25 Map" mystery item, that dropped for a few Beta players?
there isn't really an OP weapon in the game There are weapons that are better than others, but no weapon is truly OP.
there isn't really an OP weapon in the game There are weapons that are better than others, but no weapon is truly OP.
Tomislav, Sandman, Mad Milk and Wrangler would like a word with you
This reminds me, what was that "Level 25 Map" mystery item, that dropped for a few Beta players?
What now? I don't remember anything like that...
there isn't really an OP weapon in the game There are weapons that are better than others, but no weapon is truly OP.
There are weapons that when playing correctly aren't that useful, but when you want to just annoy people because it's so stupid it works wonderfully. [editline]19th July 2011[/editline]

That half-second longer it takes to cloak can really screw things up.
With the Dead ringer it's basically a powerhouse.
Tomislav, Sandman, Mad Milk and Wrangler would like a word with you
What.
That half-second longer it takes to cloak can really screw things up.
Not really.
So I tried to equip the Mystery Item on itemtest. There was an item called "8." So I equipped it. Game crashed.
What.
Sandman isn't as bad as it used to be. Wrangler is a total cunt on defense. Especially when three Engineers have it on Snorebowl.
There was an item called "8."
Super 8 promo incoming

Oh no, spy can hold his own now with a gun, It is clearly OP.
Sandman isn't as bad as it used to be. Wrangler is a total cunt on defense. Especially when three Engineers have it on Snorebowl.
It's easy to take out wrangle engineer's using spy.
Oh no, spy can hold his own now with a gun, It is clearly OP.
He could hold his own with the Revolver. When paired with the Dead Ringer, there is literally no reason to use the Revolver nor Big Kill as long as the Enforcer remains as-is.
Super 8 promo incoming
Why do I feel like that can make sense but can't at the same time
