I never had problems with noobs/bad players/assholes because I didn't go to random servers, and only go to good ones (ubercharged.net for example)
I don't think that TF2 going to F2P will change something about that, just more crap servers, but nothing too bad.
And yeah, I bought 20€ for TF2 back to 2007, and it's still worth it, no matter what. Stop whining about something cheap you paid years ago

The other day I checked and it was 18000 D: So many more players.... not...good...
I just created a free account and bought premium on it then referred my brother as my favourite player. It then tells me he MAY get an item. He has yet to receive one... what's happening?

The only problem I have is that the new players don't know what they're doing. This is completely understandable but it really irritates me.
I honestly don't get how hats are annoying. Is it really that gut-wrenching to see someone else who of their choice decide to wear a vanity item for fun? Or is it something else :v: Also the F2P thing is awesome, now I can play with my brother.
Also that scanner thing is kinda sad. Some people aren't griefers and hackers, and just want to play the game but couldn't afford it, or didn't want to pay for it. Bunching a group of like 20k people into griefers is unfair.
And, as stated above, I'm sure you had lots of fun with tf2 before it went free, and if you didn't and just bought it like last month, it shouldn't be that much of a change unless you played it 24/7. I mean It's a video game, companies have to get buyers. More players = more people buying items = profit.

i skipped through random servers today and i have encountered players with names like XxXSHazRpsH00TerxXX and they complain about not killing players with a noscope shot -.-

My item loadout lost connection and the server i usually play in got a bit laggier
Haven't seen so much delicious delicious hilarious rage since the halo event.
My biggest problem with this is that ere's gonna be way more douche's playing.

So far I have only encountered 3 annoying Russian kids.
Then again, I always seem to encounter 3 annoying Russian kids when I play on Steam every day.
