There's a difference. People pretty much just bought the game last week or last month. Lets just say some people bought it recently. Then the game goes completely free. There's a difference from paying to watch a movie once, then it goes completely free 4 years later for you to watch.

Were talking about the TF2 community here. They have been spoonfed with all the updates for free. But when Robin decides what HE can do with his game, everyone bitches against VALVE. It's their game. They can do whatever the fuck they want.

Proof is that I joined a server and had 100 ping all the time and got disconnect errors every ten minutes. And there were only like 16 people.

I agree people who bought it last week/month should at least get a part of their money refunded or get something in return.
But still, I'm guessing that 99% of the people who complain here have bought the game at least 1 or 2 years ago.
The only problem I'm having is coincidentally, every server I go to, lags REALLLLLYY bad, and sometimes disconnects. Even when my ping is < 40. I dunno if this has anything to do with "Free Frags" or the update.

who's ass did you pull out that invisible statement, there was no direct reference or anything about him complaining or referencing the f2p players, it's more of how crappy the filters and matchmaking the quick thingy implemented
IMO, those who bought the game in the last weeks/month can legitimately complain. Those who have owned it for years now, yet complain, are just simply butthurt.

Oh and people, learn not to bother with any sort of "Quick play" button, in any game, ever. Just use the good old server browser.

The TF2 community will ALWAYS complain, whatever Valve does, even though they don't understand how spoiled they are by Valve's generosity (free updates, free DLC, they listen to their community,...)
