No it isn't, I went on the server 3 hours ago and it ended up with a game of 32 in which I told some players to follow me into the BLU base, in the end they were more flexible than the pro's because I told them what to do and it ended being a 7-man raid, 3 pyro's, 1 demoman, 1 soldier, 1 medic, 1 heavy romping through their base slaughtering everything.
All you need to do is have a microphone, they'll want to learn and with good orders they will.
I've only seen one bad player so far, who was generally being a dick.
I kinda feel bad for the new players when I kill them in an extremely obnoxious (and unintentional) manner. I want to apologize, but that just adds to it.

Sorta like Portal 2 Co-op. You hover over the player you're coaching and point out what they need to do with beacons. Like 'kill this' 'cap this' 'defend this' 'avoid this' etc.

I've 2 copies left from the Halloween 2009 sale in my gift list. I sent a ticket to Steam support asking if they offer a refund for those ...which probably I won't use since I know a couple of my bro's friends who might be interested.
I'm happy to know that they won't rot in my list. I already gifted TF2 to a couple friends but they left soon after. Now if someone actually enjoys the game I can gladly gift them the full thing (maybe... I'm waiting Support's answer).

I'm gonna be playing a lot more spy for the next couple of weeks.
My TF2 won't start, even though it's finally updated and all :frown:
I got a group of 4 friends and (a few people from the team on and off) to go spy with me, a few of the noobs on the other team didn't realize that you can clip through teammates.
Fun times
Everyone is whining about F2P, I find it a rather good thing.
